[This is Pre-Hatching FYI :>] Yarn and cloth covered the room in an awful mess. It shouldn't have bee, and she knew it. But with two Firelizards and a child, it was hard to keep things clean. Even in her small room. Even if Kidanyr was in the Lower Caverns most of the day. Sighing, Lyr shook her head as she untangled Sequin from a bunch of Yarn. “You silly beast! What have I told you about the yarn? I warned you! I warned you about the Yarn! But you never listen.” Of course, Lyr didn't raise her voice. In fact, she kept it rather calm though a bit stern.
From her bet, Kida watched with large eyes. “Quin hurt?” She asked, keeping to the short, blunt sentences of a child her age. Kida was fairly average for a child her age, though she seemed to be a bit calmer than other two turn old Lyr had witnessed. She was content to sit on the edge of the bed, plastering poor Satin with varying scraps of cloth. The Copper was surprisingly accommodating. This was smallthing and she was Hers' smallthing. So Satin would deal.
Lyr was starting to get a bit flustered though. Somehow the very small Pink had managed to tangle herself in twelve different colors of Yarn, and Lyr couldn't make heads or tails of them. It was times like this that she was glad she had her own room. She couldn't even imagining her having this kind of mess when someone else was there! It would be purely mortifying.

Fel skipped on her way to her room rather happily. She’d finally finished some of her chores out in the Weyrbowl and was extremely excited to have some free time. She was still feeling rather energetic but not really enough to do too much. Maybe she would try to write a letter home! She’d been learning how to write in some of the lessons and figured she was making some more progress. Back at the caravan she’d learned a little but not quite everything about reading and writing.
She thought she could hear some noise coming from her room as she approached. Maybe her roommate was in! The thing about candidates was that they usually had rather varied chore times and only really saw one another as lumps in a bed. Fel opened the door for her eyes to be practically assaulted by the colours strewn through the room. She froze for a moment and frowned a little. Yarn and cloth was everywhere! “Oh. Hi! I’m Fel.”
She spotted a girl of only a few turns sitting on her roommate’s bed. She smiled. Fel supposed that the girl was probably not her roomie and that the older female in the room was more likely to he a roommate. She smiled at the child. “Did you do all this? It’s very pretty!”
She noticed that a copper firelizard was being covered in cloth and was rather surprised she was sitting there allowing the girl to cover up her pretty hide. Then again, the cloth was pretty too! Fel wandered over to her bed and took a seat with a cheerful smile. She swung her legs a little. “Maybe we can decorate the room all pretty like this.”
Fel looked about the room at the yarn and cloth strewn across the room. She figured they could have probably done something to make it look rather ordered and beautiful but at the moment it did look a little like a mess. With some ordered work it could look really pretty though!
