Agrippith sniffed indignantly, staring at her Rider with whirling eyes. Lirone stood on the sandy beach, fishing rod in hand with a bucket of bait beside her. She knew that Hers would have taken a boat out but had not permitted it. It was bad enough that her rider was fishing for her own food but being on a boat? The thought was unthinkable. Hissing softly she did settle down to keep a vigilant eye on her Rider. If she had not managed to stop her, Agrippith knew Lirone would have placed a whole circle of rods around her so as to have spares if something happened to her current one.

Agrippith thought this whole endeavour was ridiculous but at least it kept Hers happy enough even if she would look like a common drudge to the passerby. She had not cultivated her aura of grace for her rider to tear it down once more. She would just have to take out anyone who may walk by... Or perhaps just ensure they were aware of her beauty.

Lirone grinned happily as she felt something tugging on the rod and turned to look at Agrippith with triumph in her eyes. Noticing the eyeroll Lirone turned away from the orange and back to the ocean until she managed to tug the fish from the water. It was rather large and certainly looked tasty enough. She placed it beside her and examined it for a moment. Nope, she didn’t want that one. Taking the hook from its mouth she heaved it into her arms and then waded into the shallows, dropping the wriggling fish back into the water.

And what, pray tell, was wrong with that one?
It had a hook in its mouth.
But-I-you it. Ugh!

Lirone grinned privately at the orange’s agitation, pleased with her accomplishment. She placed more bait on the hook and cast her line once more.
