Tasakhori had no idea what was up with her dragon. The green was jumpy, flighty, and even more distractible than usual. Considering Pandemoniuth's disposition, that was saying something. Pandy? she tried, nudging at her bonded's mind. Unsure what was going on, the tiny girl sat on the floor, looking up at her dragon. I feel funny, Mine! Like... like... I dunno! Maybe I'm changing! Into a... shipfish! That's it. I bet I'm turning into a shipfish. Wouldn't I make a good shipfish, Mine? I'd swim aaaaaaaall day, and I'd be all watery and I could talk to people all the time! People would love me! People love shipfish, right? Everybody likes shipfish. I hope everybody likes me too. Pandemoniuth wriggled excitedly. Her hide glistened with oil - Tasakhori had only barely managed to finish oiling her before the green became too restless. The rider didn't even bother to point out that Pandy talked to everyone anyway. She knew what her bonded was like. Pointing out the flaws in her logic or lack thereof did nothing productive. Then again, productivity was boring. Tasakhori stretched out on the floor, resting her head on her arms. She should ride Miles. She hadn't exercised him yet today... he'd be getting restless. And, despite the fact that she now had a dragon to take care of, Tasa was still devoted to her fat little pony. You didn't give up that kind of love just because you'd Impressed! Making up her mind, the greenrider looked up at her dragon, flicking a few strands of red hair out of her eyes. "Take me down to the stables, Pandy! I wanna take Miles out. You know that game where-- Pandy? Pandy, are you listening to me?" She sat up, leaning forward on her hands, and cocked her head. Pandemoniuth was not in fact listening. Possibly for the first time in her life, the racing-striped green was absolutely motionless. She stared out into the sky, but her gaze was turned inward, as if she were looking inside herself. No grey or white swirled in her eyes; she wasn't sick. In fact... scooting up closer, Tasa could see that the green's eyes were overlaid with a thin swirl of rich red. Was she hungry? MOVE! MOVEMOVEMOVE! Gotta move! the green burst out suddenly, and her wings snapped out. Flymovefly! Gotta fly, gotta fly, gotta FLY! Can't stay still! Gotta fly! With no further ado, Pandemoniuth lunged off the weyrledge, swooping down to the feeding pens. Hungry! Eat food! Gotta eat food gotta get food gotta--"Blood it!"Having finally figured out what was going on, Tasakhori sprang to her feet and shot to the ledge, staring down at her bright green dragon. Blood it, Pandy! Only blood it! Oh, shells! Her dragon was Flying! That was both exciting and terrifying. Mostly exciting, now that the green's restlessness surged through her own veins too. Pandy squealed, slapping her tail against the air and twisting her head to glare at Hers. I don't want to! I wanna eat it! she argued, but Tasa held firm. Blood it! Blood only! Her green shrieked in protest, but stopped arguing, pouncing on a wherry. She only drank a little of the blood before she was off, flapping her wings madly. Flyingflyingflying gotta fly! Gotta fly! Air! ...A cloud! A CLOUD! Bugling excitedly, Pandemoniuth rocketed skyward, brilliant glowing wings gleaming in the noon sun. There was a cloud, actually - a tiny wisp of a thing, way above the ground. Pandy didn't care how high up it was - she wanted it! It was so small and cute and she wanted it! Catch the cloud~! I'll catch the cloud! Wanna catch it gotta catch it-- maybe it has a pillie in it! Do pillies grow in clouds? I wonder. I wanna find out! Sky-pillies would be wonderful! And so wispy! I wonder if real pillies are wispy. Oh-- OH! Sky! Over there! It's green like me. I should make friends with it. Maybe there are trees and stuff over there too! Off she went, crooning excitedly. The green didn't even seem to realize that she was Rising, and that she was supposed to have suitors. She just knew that she really wanted to catch the cloud, and the sky, and anything else that happened to appear in her path. Were dragons supposed to be this hyper when they Flew? Tasakhori had no idea, but she figured it was in character for Pandemoniuth. And, given the restlessness rushing through her veins, she didn't really care. She trusted Pandy -- she gave in to the green's feelings without a fight, turning to face the entrance to her weyr. People were probably going to be coming through; when they appeared they would see her big smile, and the vacant brown eyes, practically sparkling with the joy of Flight she shared with her green. There wasn't a lot of lust there, yet - not in either of them. Just the need to fly, to move, to be alive. For now, that was enough. Being alive was enough.

His time in the infirmary had taught A'fel to respect the harsh Northern winter, but it had also left him a little less likely to complain about the cold. Maybe even a little tougher for it. Oh, he didn't quite understand, as he watched Pirath tumble in the Weyr lake from the safety of their ledge, what made people quite so happy about the cold weather... not yet. But even he had to admit, now, that it wasn't all that bad as long as he was bundled up properly.
A green streak caught his eye, rocketing down to the feeding grounds; nothing unusual about that, really - except that it did catch Pirath's attention; the blue's head snapped up, and he wallowed over to the shallows, lifting his wings and shaking them off.
A'fel had just enough time to note the tone of his dragon's interest when the green took off again - and then there was no disguising the feeling that swept over him. Not as intense as some flights, maybe - the need didn't burn like it sometimes did - but, mercifully, there was also no trace rage. Just... just joy.
Letting out a breath that sent a billow of fog in front of him, A'fel pushed up from the rock wall. Even as Pirath took to the air, he, too, was moving, passing through their weyr, letting some of his furs drop to the floor on the way. He followed the beacon of the green's bond, seeking out her rider. His wherhide was a bit more troublesome, but once it was loose and hanging open, it didn't trouble him so greatly, nor did the thick tunic under it. Those didn't trap quite so much of the sudden warmth he felt as to be uncomfortable.
He knew, the moment he pushed through the door, that he'd found the right place. One of his wingmates, though not someone he knew much beyond that... he'd not spared her much of a glance before, but now, with the needs of Flight pounding in Pirath-A'fel's shared consciousness... now, she was radiant, the sheer life in her a shining beacon.
He smiled, eyes fixing on her, and took a step into her weyr, letting the dragons' need course through him.
Pirath's pursuit was much less leisurely. The green hadn't spent much time blooding, and had taken to the air like a bolt of lightning - stamina he had aplenty, but that sheer speed was going to tax him. He found what thermals he could to help him rise higher, weaving from one to the next - onward and upward, ever upward, in pursuit of that gleaming beauty in the sky. He called to her with his thoughts, wordlessly sending her his yearning, his admiration, his need, saving his breath for the rapid beating of his wings.

and you will believe in love and all that it's supposed to be yes you will believe in love, love, love
There was a strange stirring in a particularly silent black's weyr today. For once, though, it wasn't his rider. C'lin was actually in a bright mood that day. Two yellowriders probably had to do with that. He had seen P'nay not too long ago, and he made it a point not to stray too far from E'ra--which wasn't too hard, since they were in the same wing. So, despite the crappy politics and the wars that went on before and would probably go on again, the blackrider was happy. He was actually thinking about going for a ride today with Reyith just for fun! They hadn't had fun in a long time, had they? He pressed his mind against his loving dragon's, enjoying their closeness as he formulated the words in his mind. What'd'ya say, Reyith? Want to go for a ride today? Just you and me. We'll fly over the whole of the Western Continent!
The black only gave a soft hum, which wasn't really out of the ordinary. C'lin moved from his room to the black's own little cave and made his way toward his favorite beast. Perhaps his good mood was blinding him to how subtly peculiar Reyith was acting, but he didn't seem to notice that his lifemate seemed to have eyes for only one thing... one thing that was currently out in the stables blooding her kill. The man laid a fond hand on the black's foreleg, giving him a rough, but friendly pat. It was only then that he realized something was different. When Reyith turned his head to face him, C'lin realized his normally blue eyes were starting to swirl more violent colors. Mine; the word found his mind forcefully and strong, not the same gentle voice that Reyith spoke in on the rare occasions he did speak. Come.
C'lin clambered onto the back of his dragon, trusting Reyith to know where to go. Indeed he did, and shortly the rider found himself being thrust onto the weyr of a greenrider before the black took off again. Just in time, too... the green was off, and Reyith was hot on her heels. The rider made his way into the weyr of the female's rider in question, not really noticing who it was. This was Reyith's flight. All he wanted to do was sit back and enjoy his dragon's joviality. Another man might have been there, he didn't really pay attention.
Reyith, however, knew full well who this green was. Pandemoniuth was a green in his wing, and she was kind and talkative and sweet. He liked her quite a lot and she was always nice to him during their drills. Pirath, too, was a dragon that Reyith found honorable. Although they never talked, Reyith saw nothing wrong with him... other than that, now, he was chasing the green that Reyith really wanted to catch. So he kept his eyes off of the blue, using his smaller size and agility to try to press ahead. All the while he kept the racing-stripe green in his sights, cooing out to her to let her know that Reyith was here!
This wasn't quite like Memnorooth's flight, Reyith would have agreed if he could remember back that far. Pandemoniuth was a green he knew and liked and he wanted to spend this time with her even though he was usually withdrawn and silent during wing practice. She was a beautiful sight to him. Her bright green hide, greener and more effervescent than he had ever seen, shown out like a beacon against the mellow blues of the sky. She was quick and nimble and Reyith was just the kind of black that could match her. He moved through the air as easily as a fish slipped through a stream. There was nothing that could deter him. Any obstacle he could dodge in the blink of an eye. He had a grace to match her elegance and he wanted to win her love! All of this he would do for her!
However, being agile and slippery wasn't quite enough for the black. He wanted to win her heart, not just her body. So, as huge walls of words and crazed chatter filled his mind he sung a song to go underneath them. Occasionally he'd stop, unsure of what he was doing, but he'd pick it up again. Eventually he was just having fun, not trying to pluck her out of the sky but instead enjoying her game. The blue Pirath hardly mattered, other than that he was just another player. Pandemoniuth was the game master. She was lovely and dainty and adorable and wonderful! Yet, for all the fun this would be, Reyith still hoped beyond hope that at the end she would choose him to twine with her in the skies.
C'lin giggled softly, back in Tasakhori's weyr. It was bubbly and bright, much as his mood had been as of late. The green talked too much, or so everyone said, and her rider was just as hyperactive and cheerful a person. But Reyith liked her. Even if he never spoke to her, he found her talkativeness endearing. Therefore, at this moment his rider found her rider endearing as well. Not beautiful so much as cute and something to be held. As Reyith's mood permeated his conscience he wanted to shower Tasakhori with kisses and love her as Reyith wanted to love Pandemoniuth. Of course, after the flight lust was over this would all go away, but it was a nice feeling for the time being. So he smiled at her, giggling occasionally with eyes only for her and not for the other men that might come into her weyr. That's what flights were about, after all... he had seemed to forgotten that in turns past, but he was glad to have remembered that again. Life was good, and C'lin just wanted to enjoy the ride.

If I fall, can you let me down easy? If I leave my heart with you tonight Will you promise me that you're gonna treat it right? I'm barely hangin' on If I fall, can you let me down easy?
They had just arrived yesterday, and B'jorn was still trying to organize things. Chernoboth had settled in nicely already, claiming the large bowl in the floor immediately as his and spending most of his time curled up in it. The blue was unsociable at the best of times, and purely vicious at the worst.
B'jorn was relaxing after putting away some of his things, sitting on the edge of his bed. Things were nice here. His furs were thick and warm enough to keep out the cold, and the personal weyr was quite snug and cozy, in all reality. He missed his son deeply, but knew that Balior would do better in Wher training without him around, as much as it pained him to say it. Balisk would be good for his son, just as Chernoboth had been good for him.
His three flitters, who were also good for him, were sprawled around him, pink Mittens curled in his lap asleep, green Mr. Tibbles sprawled down the length of his right arm, and poor little black Diva curled around his neck. He loved his flitters and his dragon. Thinking that it would be good to knit them some clothes, since it was cold, he nodded. He would have gotten up, but the fire lizards were so cute he could hardly stand to move them.
Turning to glance at his bonded, he smiled. They were two of a kind, peas in a pod, but as different as black and white. Chernoboth was moody and angry, while B'jorn was almost always happy and joyful, wanting to make friends with anyone and everyone. So far, he hadn't met anyone here at Dalibor, which was slightly depressing, but that was okay. He'd meet some people eventually. And for now, he had Chernoboth, Diva, Mittens, and Mr. Tibbles.
Suddenly, Chernoboth raised his head. You want to meet people, fine! Standing in one powerful motion, the blue shot out of the Weyr, down to the feeding grounds, where a green was just blooding her kill. Flightlust filled B'jorn, and he stood up like lightning, spilling all three screaming fire lizards to the ground. They complained and creeled, but the man's mind had frozen. Chernoboth hadn't chased in, shards, ten years! Why in Faranth's name was he chasing now?! You want to meet people. I will make you! B'jorn swore angrily, his dragon smirking. The green took off in a bolt of green, and he shrieked, following her. Her path was completely irrational, but his steadily pumping powerful wings kept him steadily in line with her. His eyes swirled in lust for her, and he shrieked again. He wasn't one for complimenting a dragon during a flight. There was time for that after. The actual flight? To him, that was a battle, a battle he would win, just like that day so long ago where he chose B'jorn. Chernoboth fight! Chernoboth protect! He had sworn it then, and he was upholding his duty now as he chased. "SHARD IT, CHERNOBOTH, I CAN TAKE CARE OF MYSELF." No, Mine, you cannot. B'jorn was beginning to panic as he jogged down the steps to find the Weyr of the rider that Chernoboth was chasing. When he finally found it, there was already one other suitor. And when B'jorn's eyes turned to the rider, panic flared in his chest. A woman. Oh, shards, it's a woman. What do I do? CHERNOBOTH! YOU OWE ME FOR THIS. Stepping into the Weyr, panic evident on his masculine features, he nodded to the other suitor, and then to the rider. She was pretty, he had to admit, but he was scared. Do not be afraid, Mine! Your Chernoboth knows what he is doing! If I fall, can you let me down easy? If I leave my heart with you tonight Will you promise me that you're gonna treat it right? I'm barely hangin' on If I fall, can you let me down easy?[/blockquote]

"Haaaaark. Haaaark. Can you pass me the straps?"
Such a dreadful day it had been so far, between the accursed cold and the breaking of their straps while they were in midair. It was a miracle he remembered how to ride without the supports, but in the cold with every limb stiff and every muscle ill receptive, he spent a good five minutes digging into Harkenth's hide with his nails like a frightened feline. When they landed on the weyrledge not a few minutes ago, the Blue was antsy about getting E'rael off his back. The Bluerider knew exactly what this meant, having endured the same behavior numerous times in the past. He simply didn't care. As long as he could at least do a half-assed job on replacing the leather that snapped, he would do whatever his dragon pleased without a complaint. Even a man. And he prayed it wasn't, even though it wasn't all that bad. He was a very shallow human being and if he was going to sleep with someone of the same gender they ought to look amazing.
Harkenth didn't oblige, his head sticking out the weyr like a meerkat. He could smell it before he saw it, and when he saw it he lit up like a festival in the dead of night. Oh wow. Now she's gorgeous. Don't you think so? He didn't even glance back at his rider as he crouched down, preparing to dive after her. I can't pass it. Try and keep up! He gave E'rael the slightest tip of his head before he plunged off the ledge and swerved towards the feeding pens to meet up with her.
The Bluerider put his palm to his forehead to wipe away the cold sweat and got to his feet. Ah well, he didn't mind leaving this until later. It was time to chase some tail. E'rael abandoned his weyr without further hesitation and found himself passing by Tasakhori's without even knowing who it was he was attempting to seek out. The moment he spotted her at the corner of his eye, he began to slow down in his stride. A woman! Perfect. And a damn good looking one too! He smiled and casually strode inside, sparing A'fel a glance. There was no animosity in it--no threat or challenge. In fact, he looked nearly as pleased to see him as he was to see the Greenrider. Too much of that Blue's pansexual influence corrupting his mind. Later he would regret losing if such was his fate, but they always knew how to come up on the rebound. As long as Hark didn't do something stupid like hit on his competition as well.
The dual-toned Blue swept towards Pandemoniuth just as she was leaving her kill and taking to the skies. Pirath ended up closing up the wide space between them, but other than attempting to speed up, Harkenth did not do or say anything challenging to the other dragon. How could he? It was a real pleasure to fly alongside another dragon of his rank, let alone such a handsomely colored beast. Hello stranger, he crooned to Pirath as he pulled up alongside him. He still kept a safe enough distance between them, knowing by experience how some males didn't appreciate his admiration. He had a chewed up headknob and a tear in his wing to show for it. Speaking of, his endurance wasn't bound to stretch for long. Surely the other Blue would fair better than him in that respect, but Harkenth didn't take losing harshly at all. He just enjoyed flying with other beautiful creatures. He would love to come back home with any one of them, though Pandemoniuth was his prime focus. His eyes were on her the whole time. He tried to make the most of riding these winter winds as he peeled a little farther away from Pirath. He too sent his desires her way, which mainly focused on pleasing her and doing whatever she asked of him. And if she needed someone to take control he could do that too. He was up for anything.
E'rael was also up for anything, especially at the sight of a woman who seemed to grow more beautiful by the second. He was willing to do whatever Tasakhori asked, right there on the spot, if it would simply amuse her. But that A'fel. He wasn't half bad either. Maybe if this didn't turn out for either of them they could go have a little fun themselves.

Paralee squealed happily, staring fixedly at the tiny white and tan canine that was dozing on her bed. Ladny and Lele (who was quiet for once) were perched near it, also intrigued by the fur covered thing. Yes Paraleemine I understand why you like puppies. She is very much cute. And small. I could eat her if I tried, the blue stated matter of factly. Paralee gasped putting herself between Tomarth and the puppy. "That's alright Lady VonBarkenworth, he won't touch you. Just be cute and sleep," she crooned maternally, not wanting to touch the sleeping puppy but also wanting to scoop it up and snuggle with it. Conflicted! Sighing Paralee twirled on her heel and turned to face Tomarth pointing at him dramatically. But Tomarth was not focused on her or the puppy he was staring out the door his eyes whirling a lusty purple. There is a green out there, PandyPandemoniuth! I know this green you know her too, you do you do. I will chase her she is so nice inside, Tomarth announced and launched himself off the ledge to follow the brightly colored green. He rememberd her from their day playing tic tac toe, hopefully she did too. He very much wanted to catch her, yes yes yes, he had liked her very much that day and she had told him he was very smart. Perhaps he would catch her! That would be a good idea, then there would be happy happy Pandy and Tommy eggs. No, greens had no eggs that was not fun. Either way he wanted to chase her catch her and Paralee would be happy too. He'd never caught a dragon before. Bugling a greeting the blue followed the green as she darted around the sky, what was she saying. She wanted the clouds? Yes that made sense! Hello PandyPandemoniuth, I am chasing you did you know that? It's me, Tommymarmartomtomarth . This is like tag! You are right about the clouds I bet there are pillies in them, they are made of water. Mine says so, we should fly through clouds. I like flying through clouds, they feel wet. That must be the water. I didn't hit any pillies though, maybe they were hiding. They are so small small small, I bet they were hiding, Tomarth announced, beating his wings to catch up with the group of males that were already chasing her. Back on the ground Paralee was overtaken by the strong feelings from Tomarth as he initially took off but once he started talking they subsided, a little. She was able to regain rational thought and try to remember just who rode PandyPandemoniuth. Was that Tasa? Yes it was! The one with the pony! Forgetting about the puppy Paralee darted out of the room towards Tasa' weyr. She skidded to a halt and peered inside. "Tasa~~ do you remember me? Hmmm?? I rode that pony with you-" she stopped as Tomarth stopped blabbering and focused his thoughts on the green again and the strong emotions returned. Paralee managed a grin before plopping down in a chair and trying to keep herself from not doing something dumb. [/ul]

It had only been a few weeks since Aimeth's flight and the wounds on Tarvith's back had yet to fully heal. Sarrasri had carefully treated them every day but there would be scars nonetheless. She spent every day telling him the scars would be his mark of victory, not defeat, but he refused to believe her, though less and less feverently. Sarrasri believed that was more thanks to her being annoying than to him being convinced. She was carefully oiling his hide, something she had thankfully not to take care of frequently anymore and mostly did to spoil him when she noticed flash of green in the corner of her eyes. Looking outside she saw the flurry of blue and black wings that followed it. A Flight! "Hey, sweetheart...", she started and was immediately cut off by him. I know a Green is flying. I can hear her. Sarrasri stepped back and gave him a stern look. "You should chase her, you know?" Tarvith avoided her gaze and fell silent for a moment. He'd felt the Flight before she had noticed the Green, and how sweet and playful it was! So different from the Aimeth it made his wings itch with the urge to follow her, just to watch and listen to her. He wanted to know her! I'm still hurt. I'll hurt again. There will be a next time. With that he moved further into their weyr, as if he wanted to avoid any temptation the sky would pose. With a deep sigh Sarrasri leaned against him and stroked his back. "You don't have to, sure. But you could just fly up there and see what's happening. You know, watch and learn. You wont get in any trouble with the other dragons just by watching." She knew this was a cheap trick, but she didn't want Tarvith to be scared forever. If he could just jump over his own shadow as quickly as possible, surely he would finally snap out of his depression, right? And it worked. Do you really think that's okay? "Sure! You just go, silly! Sick-leave is over!" She began pushing him symbolically towards the ledge and finally he moved by himself. I'll watch, no more., he assured both Sarrasri and himself and then, with a still a little wobbly leap he took off. What a pleasant feeling to bolt into the sky like that again! He followed the Green into the clouds, drawn in by the giddy vibes she spread among the dragons. He was just catching up when he remembered exactly why he had come here and slowed his flight down, staying shyly behind the other dragons. But she was right there! And she was sweet and fun and there was no danger! He felt torn between his urge to chase her and his fear to be hurt and that showed as he made some bold leaps towards the speedy dragon, only to back off as doubt got hold of him again. I'm Tarvith. You' re fun., he shyly introduced himself as if the Green could tell him if he should chase her or not. Sarrasri felt dizzy by the mix of emotions emanating from her dragon, she tried to send him assurance but he was way too caught up in his own thoughts. Still she hurried to the weyr of the Green's rider, if only to assure at least herself that she had made the right choice.
---------------------
Soft rumbling laughter resonated in C'tans head followed by a hot surge that nearly made him spill the soup he'd been enjoying in the Dining Hall. "What are you doing, Majeth?", he checked his Iron even though he had a fairly good clue what the sudden passion that ran through his body could mean. Teaching those younglings a thing or two about flying., the smug voice of his beast answered, then he felt his mind taking off the ground. Majeth had been outside to catch himself a herd beast when he saw an agitated Green darting down, blooding her prey. She chittered so excited and hyper that it seemed a miracle to him she managed to hit her target, being destracted like that. He felt a little challenged by her eagerness, the other suitors and being so close to her drew him in fairly involuntarily. And it had been some time since he'd chased. Beating his mighty wings he rose to follow her, watching blue, black and even yellow wings doing the same. "A Green? That's not like you, you're too big." She'll choose. No need to catch, it's a game. Stand back and watch. C'tan was yet again amused by his dragon's confidence, but he couldn't help feeling the same thrill he did. He made his way to the greenrider's weyr and stopped shortly in the entrance as he saw her. Oh dear, she was still pretty young, wasn't she?
Majeth had no illusions about keeping up with their speed, but he didn't mind that. He stayed within reach, not bothering to strain himself too much, finding amusement in just watching and listening to the excited bunch and rising higher than His would've ever made him. He made his presence known to Pandemoniuth but stayed out of the chatter the rest of them started.

| gah! sorry i'm so late, my love!) Ocouth popped his bright head up quickly, stirred easily from a rare moment of relaxation upon his ledge, swirling eyes catching swiftly upon the vibrant sparkle that was Pandemoniuth. She was acting strangely. She was more active than usual, darting here and there and screeching and soaring and chattering – and she was so beautiful. She was so bright and colourful and precious, and there was a deep stirring in his gut that he didn't entirely understand. He'd never felt this way before. He crooned low in the back of his throat, a deep and curious thing as he wiggled his way closer to the edge, his claws gripping at the stone and his gaze latched severely onto the green, watching and wondering and loving. Inside, E'ra cursed sharply under his breath, darting his hand up to stick his wounded finger into his mouth, sucking idly at the prick that he'd given himself. Sewing wasn't his strong suit. He could have easily found and paid a seamstress in the lower cavern to do the work for him, but the rip in the tunic was so small and he'd spent ages watching his mother mend the tears in his clothes without hassle. It'd be fine. He'd managed to thread the needle well enough, sewing the hole shut would be no problem at all! If he could stop stabbing himself. And if Ocouth would stop distracting him. Though now that he thought about it, the yellow's occasional bursts of chatter had been replaced with a peculiar feeling down in his own gut. With a frustrated sigh, he tossed aside the tunic, half-mended hole and needle and all, and pushed himself up to make his way to the entrance to Ocouth's ledge. “What's wrong, buddy?” He muttered, one hand on the stone as he paused, watching the large dragon staring up at the sky. For once, Ocouth had nothing to stay, caught up inside the antics of the green that rocketed through the sky, mad and enthusiastic. Then there were dragons chasing her, all male and he felt a sharp yank in his gut, a stirring, as his attentions focused on one male in particular. A small black that he knew very well. Reyith; Ocouth loved Reyith, the older dragon was his greatest friend – but now he was chasing Pandemoniuth, a green that Ocouth knew as well and Ocouth wanted as well. Suddenly, things made sense. He wanted to be the star of this show. A growl escaped his throat as he tensed the muscles in powerful legs, a vibration that broke into his trademark chuckle as he abruptly launched himself into the sky, leaving behind a dumbfounded E'ra and easily thrusting himself into the crowd of suitors with a snap of his wings and a glint of yellow hide. 'Pandemoooooniuth, Ocouth is here! As yellow as ever – and you are so GREEN! So very green today, so beautifully green!' He announced, releasing a bugle as loud as her own. If he was loud enough, bright enough, moved enough and posed enough, she would notice him. They would all notice him and, if he had the spotlight, he'd win. That's how these things worked. Back in his weyr, E'ra could not feel as confident or flamboyant as his dragon, instead thrust into the lust and competition of chasing. He was flying, but his feet was on the ground. He wanted Pandemoniuth, but – no, instead he was heading for Tasakhori's room, he wanted her. Did he? No he didn't, they were just friends, but the emotions whirling through him said different. Yes, he did want her, so badly that it hurt a little bit. He could hardly breathe, his skin felt hot – no, wait, he was fine. Was he? He'd learned about Flights, he'd been prepared for it, but... no, he felt out of sorts and lost and in need. He was entering her weyr before he'd even been able to grasp that he was moving. He had no control of his actions, his body was no longer his own, it was Ocouth's, he was Ocouth and soaring and wanting and – wait, no, what? He blinked, wanting to look at the room around him and the people in it, he could feel other people there – Reyith, Pirath, Tomarth, Harkenth – so many, surrounding him, pressing in on him, but he didn't like them, they wanted what he wanted – wait, no, he liked them, especially C'lin, C'lin was his and – but no, his eyes couldn't move, they were caught on the redhead standing in her room, all grins and cute. He wanted her, so much.[/ul]

This was a fun game! Pandemoniuth was already enjoying herself, rocketing through the sky and trilling to herself. Only when she'd tired of chattering about clouds and the sky did she realize that other dragons were chasing her. Oooh! Hello! she squealed into their minds, spinning around to face them and fluttering in a circle. I wanna play a game! Do you wanna play a game with me? Oh! Hello, Reyith! TOMMYTOMMARTTOMTOMARTH! Ocouth! Identifying all the males she knew, Pandy chirped excitedly and zipped towards her suitors, then changed her mind and zoomed away again.
Follow me! I found a cloud! I bet they ARE water-pillies! You're smart, Tomarth! I bet they really are hiding! Let's find them, everybody! We gotta find the little-pillies! Off we go! Inspired by Tomarth's suggestions, the green raced off towards the nearest low-hanging cloud, then paused again and swooped in a little circle, looking over what she viewed as her friends. Only now did she realize that one of them, a black, had introduced himself, and he'd called her fun, and oh boy! Hi, Tarvith! I am fun, aren't I? Wonderfully fun! You're fun too! And then, to Ocouth, she trilled. I AM awfully green! I wonder when that happened? I like it! I'm shiiiiny, Ocouth! Sort of! And you're still very very yellow, just like you said! We're all so COLOURFUL! Well, except you blacks. You're not colourful. You're black. But I like you anyway! Oh, and you iron. You're shiny, but you're not colourful. Come on, let's find the... we're over the ocean! The ooooocean!
Losing track of her goal already, Pandemoniuth dropped into a dive, shooting down through the sky. With a squeal of delight, she snapped her wings open right above the surface of the water, and dragged her claws through it, sending up a spray of mist. We could go swimming! We could! See, I'm almost in the water! Almost! I wonder if I could eat a water-wher. Could any of you eat a water-wher? I wonder what they look like. And if they eat dragons. Mine has never told me. Oh well! I'M not eaten! And I wanna flyyyy! FLY! Flyflyfly! Distracted yet again, the green bounced, slapping her paws and tail into the water, then launched herself back up into the air. Really, she had no idea what she was supposed to be doing, so she was turning her Flight into a kind of game. Anyone who knew her probably expected that anyway.
Deciding that being over water was more fun than flying over to the Western Continent itself, Pandy chirped and flew in circles, waving her wings and tail at her suitors. She hadn't flown very far, but she didn't care - she didn't need to lay eggs! She wanted to play! That being said, the green surged back towards her males, fluttering boldly through them. And then she came up with a new game: leapdragon. Warbling gleefully, she climbed up above the males, and then dropped down, pushing at Reyith playfully with her hind legs. Reyith! I got you! It couldn't be called a kick, and she knew she couldn't play a serious game of leapdragon if she didn't want to hurt the boys, so she settled for bouncing off their backs, claws carefully arranged so she wouldn't hurt them. From Reyith, she propelled herself to Tarvith, then Pirath, then Chernoboth, Harkenth, Tomarth (TOMMYMARTYMARTH! I'm LEAPING!), and then Ocouth. Ocouth was so yellow! She couldn't resist pattering her front paws on his back too, trilling, before carefully taking off. I like you, Ocouth! You're so BRIGHT and fun to JUMP OFF and and keep following me, I have more games to play! And all the rest of you keep playing, too! I like having friends! I feel so loved! Do you love meeee? I love yoou! All of you!
With that, she fluttered away from Ocouth, back towards the iron, who was a lot slower than the rest. She'd saved him for last because he was the biggest, and therefore he would be the most fun to leap from! She was barely half his size! There was lots of room for her on his back! Trilling excitedly, Pandemoniuth shot towards Majeth, launched herself way up into the air, and then dove down to bounce off his back, too. Then she did it again, just for the fun of it, and squealed, zipping back up into the air, still full of energy. She wasn't tired at all!
Giggling into all her suitors' minds, the green climbed straight up, working her bright wings as hard as she could. Still having no clue what she was doing, and not even realizing that what she was feeling (along with playfulness) was lust, Pandemoniuth was focused only on the game. Climbing up, and then up some more, she started doing loop-de-loops and circles, just for the fun of it. Shooting through a cloud, she chirped enthusiastically, then swerved and shot through it again, and again, and a fourth time before rocketing away again. Without any warning whatsoever, she whipped into a U-turn and bugled to her males, darting from side to side. Okay! Okay okay! You're all fun and fabulous and stuff, so you should show me how fun and fabulous you are, and then we'll keep playing! And... and maybe we'll find pillies or flitters or something! Waaaaaaay up there, in the sky! But first you all gotta do something fun, and it'll be fun, and I can't wait, so GO! Gogogo! I bet you all can do it, cause it's FUN and everybody likes fun and you can't be bad at fun! Do fun stuff! Do it! Go! I'll do fun stuff too! And with that, she trilled and spun a circle in the air, then paused for the first time during her Flight, to watch her boys.
Tasakhori was totally caught up in what her dragon was doing. Lost in the games, she nonetheless did see all of the other riders come in, and on an impulse she scuttled over and hugged them all. But Pandy hadn't picked yet, so she stood in the middle of them all, bouncing on her toes, before deciding that she felt kind of squished. Yeah. Yeah, that was the word. Pandemoniuth was flying around so fast, using the lightning speed they both loved so much, and Tasa decided that she wanted to be able to do the same. So, what did she do?
She stripped, of course! The tiny greenrider pulled off her clothes and, infected by Pandemoniuth's need to move and fly, darted through the crowd of people gathered in her weyr. Would anyone else have done it? Probably not, but this was Tasakhori. Happily naked, she ran around the room (skipped, really), and then bounded out to the ledge, giggling and staring out at the sky as if she expected to be able to see her dragon from here. She couldn't, but her vision blended with her green's, and she stopped paying attention to the other people, intent on finding out what all their male dragons would do.

were supposed to do silly things? He racked his brain, what was silly? In a burst of speed the blue shot upwards, slowly he reached the top of his arc did a barrel roll and then proceeded to do the silliest thing he could think of. He stopped flying. The blue stopped flapping his wings and dropped like a stone down out of the air and heading towards the sea. Blinking he waited until a moment before he'd hit the water before spreading his wings and pulling out of the fall. He soared over the ocean for a moment before spying something shiny near the surface. Grabbing at it he picked out a wriggling fish. It was almost as shiny as Pandy! Bugling, he made his way back up to her level and dropped the fish onto her back. Fishdragon! he stated simply then back winged away. ---- Paralee on the other hand quite glad that this wasn't like the other flights she'd been in. The emotions weren't quite as strong and so she could laugh at Tasa running naked around the weyr. Looking around she frowned, too many men here! At least there was one other girl, one of them had to win, girl power! [/ul]

Under the heady demands of Flight, Pirath was nonplussed.
The part of him that was A'fel remembered the last Flight they'd been in where the green hadn't seemed actually interested in mating. Then, they had fought each other. Pirath had been distracted, and his flying had suffered.
Now, though... this was nothing like that Flight. If the lust was reduced to a minor, subliminal note, it was not by anything negative or threatening, but by liveliness, by sheer joy.
It didn't quite eclipse his own lust - that continued to color his thoughts, radiating out from him - but it did mellow him somewhat.
He was even more perplexed when another of the suitors came up close to him, and glanced at Harkenth between wingbeats, sparks of bewildered color dancing in his eyes. Was the other blue Chasing Pandemoniuth, or... him?
Well, the answer to that was plain enough: all of them were focused on the exuberant green. But that interest on the side... He eyed the other blue a little longer, speculative, extending to him a thread of curious greeting. If neither of them were chosen... well, any company to curl up beside would be better than going back to his weyr alone, wouldn't it? Though he wasn't sure how it would work for anything beyond that, with another blue... well. They'd come here to explore, hadn't they?
He turned his attention back to Pandemoniuth, banking in a broad turn as she hopped from one of her suitors to the next - quick moments of contact that made him reflexively tense, expecting the touch of claws on his own hide any moment, especially as she hurtled toward him - but then she kicked off of him, leaving his hide intact, unscored, jumping to another of her suitors and giving him the same treatment.
The memory of the fleeting contact sent a light shiver through his frame. He needed more.
I want to play more, Pandemoniuth, he sent, crooning, winging a little closer to her. Oh, there was definitely a lascivious note in his mental voice, hinting at the sort of "play" he desired deep down, but for the most part it was in a similar playful spirit to the green's - somewhat calmer, maybe, steadier, but he wanted to enjoy himself, and wanted her to enjoy him.
And now she was giving them all a chance to be enjoyed by her. Hmmm. He was a big and ponderous blue; how could he impress her? And he was, even now, driven by his need. How could he turn that into a game she might like to watch?
Pirath looked at Harkenth again; on the ground, A'fel looked at E'rael.
Hmmmm.
Dragon slid closer to dragon, rider stepped toward rider. "Dance with me," they said together. Some frustrated part of A'fel yearned for a conclusion to the Flight, for closer contact; a chance to touch someone - ideally the greenrider dancing about, but while she had not chosen and was out of bounds, anyone - to burn away some of the energy welling up in him before it consumed him.
Pirath went into a little more detail. Dance with me, play with me. Let her see how beautiful we can be together, he crooned, banking so close to Harkenth that his tail might trail along the other blue's. If they attracted Pandemoniuth's attention together, it would be a temporary alliance, but they could part gently and continue on their own bids in the Chase.
If not, then he would have taken a chance and failed. It happened; this was Flight. This, though, might be a much more pleasant gamble than some gambits that came up in Flights... and perhaps he'd have a consolation prize of sorts for doing it.

they will see us waving from such great heights come down now, they'll say but everything looks perfect from far away come down now, but we'll stay Reyith ceased his song as the excited voice filled his head. It blocked out the sound of his wingbeats, his heartbeats, and even the sound of the wind blowing past. He was, frankly, confused. Not because she was talking, although he had never chased any other female that had talked nearly as much as her while in flight... he was confused because he hadn't quite realized that flights could be fun. It was nice, he decided, and he went along with the ride, welcoming the friendly and excited voice permeating his consciousness. He flew where she flew, following her dips and her dives. As she slipped over the water with some semblance of elegance he couldn't help but let out a short hum of a draconic chuckle. She was silly, and he liked it.
Suddenly, though, she was upon him. At first he thought she might attack him, but she harmlessly bounced off his back with a fond Reyith! I got you! He hummed in agreement, jaw open slightly in the closest thing to a smile a dragon could get. He wished she had stayed, though, as she moved another her other suitors. It was only when she bounced off of a yellow's back that he noticed Ocouth had been there! Also, she was focusing on him! There was an odd sort of mixture of happiness and jealousy at Ocouth participating in this chase, but he wouldn't attack his friend. Instead, he merely flew faster to try to keep up with the ever-changing Pandemoniuth.
The neon-green beauty flew up into the sky, then, doing aerobatics that Reyith desperately wanted to join in. They looked like fun! How odd that he would think that during a flight! Love, he agreed with Pandemoniuth's question, following her with the same delight that a shipfish follows a boat out at sea. However, he would not be allowed to be passive in this flight. Even if it wasn't as physically strenuous as most other flights, he wouldn't be allowed to leisurely fly about in a straight line. At her challenge to do something fun, his eyes instantly flicked to Ocouth's bright yellow form and he dove toward his friend. At first, it seemed like he might tackle Ocouth out of the sky, but at the last minute he dipped and arched himself into a perfect loop around the larger dragon. With a hum of satisfaction, he called to Ocouth Leap? If Pandy wanted to play leapdragon, then the two of them together would leapdragon their way to her side and, hopefully, into her heart. Perhaps it was a similar idea to Pirath, but Reyith thought it was much different. He and Ocouth were friends. He loved the yellow and they knew each other. Playing came naturally to them.
Back on the ground C'lin noticed as suitors joined him in Tasakhori's weyr, especially that E'ra was there. Like Reyith, he had mixed feelings about it. He, dare he say it, loved the yellowrider. Sharing him just seemed like something he couldn't bare. Yet, at the same time, he was some form of competition. But, as the flight went on, the idea of competition became a fluid one and the feelings of rivalry fell away. This was all one big game. Refreshing, but perhaps a bit confusing. Oh well, he'd roll with it. A smile brightened his boyish face and he watched Tasakhori with a mixture of lust and sheer fascination. The pair were interesting, he and Reyith agreed, and they were enjoying themselves. Then, suddenly, Tasa stripped and began to dance about them, skipping around and giggling. Well, he wasn't going to let the lady go on all naked all by herself no more than Reyith would let Pandy be the only one playing up in the great expanse of sky.
Ignoring the cold, he shucked off his shirt before he was able to think much about. Then, with a delinquent little giggle of his own, he crossed the room to E'ra just as Reyith had crossed the sky to Ocouth. Without warning, he took the yellowrider's hand and spun him around and around, so that together they spun circles around Tasakhori's weyr. "Leap?" He spoke at the same time as Reyith, spinning out the smaller man and letting him go at the right time so that he'd go twirling out in the opposite direction

The arrival of several competitors did not hamper Harkenth's spirits in the slightest. He chirruped to them with a complimentary greeting, reserving his words and his strength for the flight. Only the best for Pandemoniuth after all. He never gave less than his prospective mates deserved. It wasn't hard for him to keep up to the hyperactive Green, but he was going to be worn out in due time. He was already starting to breath a lot harder. The female was showing no signs of strain however. She shot towards the sky, chasing something beyond the clouds. Or the clouds themselves--whoever could tell. The Blue did not care for childish antics this afternoon, nor did he ever. As sweet and kind as he could be to a complete stranger, mating was both a business and a pleasure. When it came to Harkenth and business, it was straight up serious every time.
It didn't stop him from admiring the other dragons, whether or not they were male or remotely interested in him. Reyith was a Black, and though their colors hardly varied, Harkenth found his form to be admirable. Sometimes he knew when it was best not to make a move. Meanwhile he drew his gaze over Chernoboth, equally nice, and finally to Tomarth, Tarvith, Majith, and Ocouth. So many suitors for such a lively young Green! Harkenth purred out a mildly surprise Hello to the lot of them before he focused his attentions on Pandemoniuth again. Though they were all appealing to him in their own special ways, there were far too many of them in one place for him to single any one of them out again.
She really liked to talk, and it seemed as if she knew a few of these dragons well. He decided it was better not to say anything in this case. She struck him as a more immature personality and immaturity was something well beyond this Blue. She flew towards them, then she dived away, leading all the males off a lazy coast and into something more challenging. She sure liked to test their limits, whether or not she was aware. Harkenth didn't mind it much. Diving was easy compared to ascending. He brought his wings in tight to get closer to her, without the intent to make a grab. He had to get in close and get her attention. He had to be there when she realized what she needed--past the games. He knew she something more. If not, she wouldn't have attained so many admirers.
E'rael surveyed the other riders as his dragon did theirs. His expression, somewhat bemused, was overwhelmed by focus that turned his gaze to Tasakhori and kept it there. When she hugged him, all he wanted to do was keep her there with his own embrace, but she was flitting to the next man before he could lift his arms to hold her in place. There was lust in him, not joy. He did not want to play the flirting game forever, and there were far too many people in this weyr to choose from. They were all lovely. They were all special in their own way. But this was about her. She needed him, even if it wasn't obvious to her.
Pandemoniuth flew towards the males again, only this time she made contact. At first, Harkenth was leery. She touched Reyith's back and Pirath's as well, approaching ever so quickly. The Blue was resigned to allow her to do the very same to himself, but without a fuss he simply corrected his course to keep up to her. She was turning the Iron into a trampoline--funny at first, but Harkenth hoped the King wouldn't take offense. She was just having fun. He knew, he knew...it was a silly little act. But every female flew their own way. I'll have to admit. You're certainly one of the most energetic dragons I've ever met, he crooned. Yet it wasn't a good thing. He didn't want to play this game, or that game, or any game that relentlessly beat around the bush. She was bound to discover that flame inside her.
Finally, the part he had the most interest vested in was at hand. The final test before the selection was not all that appealing to him, but at least now he would be able to determine where he stood. Chasing her back up into the sky exhausted him, but he was not ready to give in. He was a Blue, and he had not forgotten how talented he was at this sort of flying before his wing was torn. Harkenth still had plenty of pride to consume. But to do something fun to appeal to Pandemoniuth? He wasn't sure. All he knew how to do was flirt and fly true. He couldn't even match half of her acrobatics in the air, though mostly from lack of trying. He glanced to the other dragons, wondering just what they would do for her. If only he were chasing one of them instead. If they weren't going to get so offended by it, he could have a much better time with a dragon that knew what he wanted from them.
"Dance with me."
Both Harkenth and E'rael heard the voice, and both simultaneously turned to A'felPirath.
Dance with me, play with me. Let her see how beautiful we can be together.
The Blue shivered with anticipation. If he could say yes several times over without sounding too desperate, he might have done so. This was perfect. Absolutely, and unequivocally perfect. Though Harkenth did not forget about Pandemoniuth, he allowed Pirath to get into the picture again. The two of them could ace this. They could show that young Green what this was all about. Well, it would certainly be my pleasure, he answered, bringing himself closer before guiding to the left with his good wing.
Suddenly he had his second wave. A graceful dance to attract a lady who wanted to see something neat. What could possibly top this? Two males, in competition for the same Green, working with one another to please her. Putting aside their differences to win her heart. It was dripping with so much romance that even the most innocent creatures would be swooning. And who better a dance partner than a fellow Blue. A handsome, powerful-looking beast that in many ways matched Pandy's unique beauty.
E'rael's gaze met A'fel's as both he and his dragon accepted the invitation. He brought himself nearer and took the other Bluerider's hand, leading the other rider into a spiral of elegance and ecstasy. He had little lust for the man in particular, but he was willing to resort to just about anything to get Tasakhori's attention.

Tarvith darn near had a heart attack when the Green suddenly dived at him. He yelped and hastily put distance between them until he realised that he had not been attacked at all, she was just playing! He felt silly for being so scared. Everyone was so confident and carefree, did he belong here at all? But she had told him he was fun! And he didn't want to stay behind with the huge Iron that could swallow him in one bite. So he kept up with everyone's speed, shyly showing off the fact that he was capable of flying figures and loops as well, nearly bumping into the other Black when everyone stopped. She was testing them! Tarvith felt huge relief at the innocent nature of their competition. Fun! He'd show her fun, like His always showed him. Wherry chase was fun, sunbathing was fun - but Sarrasri had shown him spots on his body that felt very funny and made him laugh when she poked them. It was the best! Enthusiastically he dived at Pandemoniuth, trying to get close enough to tickle her, to lick her throat. At least that was the spot that always felt funny when His oiled him. Only when he got that close he realised just how strong his urge was to grab her, fly higher. And then? He wasn't sure if he knew what he had to do, His had said his instincts would tell him. And his instincts wanted to hold Pandemoniuth so much...
When Tarvith made his attempt to tickle Pandemoniuth, Sarrasri grabbed for Tasakhori as well and to do the same. In her dizzyness she wasn't bothered by her nudeness, she just did what her dragon wanted to do - hold her, touch her and make her laugh!
-------
C'tan laughed as Majeth's amusement rippled through him. Pandemoniuth was truly reckless, he could've snatched her out of the air just like that when she bounced on his back! But he had no intention to spoil her fun. Cheerfully humming he kept on following her until she stopped in their midst. When he had announced that this was going to be a game he had not expected to see that literally. Fun? He wasn't going to make a fool out of himself! He snorted lightly. Wait. The first Blue just darted off into the sea when he turned around and returned to the Weyr with as much speed as he could muster; but since they hadn't gotten very far with all the flitting back and forth and flying loops it didn't take too long. Landing in their personal weyr he quickly found what he was searching for, the bag filled with firestone. Hastily he chewed and swallowed and then took off again to join the others. He found them where he had left them, swarming around Pandemoniuth, trying to convince her that she would have the most fun with them. I'm gonna make you a cloud., he announced a little grumbly because he knew it probably wasn't as much fun, but in his opinion way more impressive. He dived down and released the flame over the sea, brushing the surface and vaporising it. A cloud of steam rose behind him.
C'tan was a little too distracted by the sudden chaos that broke out with the greenrider stripping and the male riders echoing their dragon's behaviours, so he didn't think of scolding Majeth for wasting firestone like that and endangering the others.

. In the Flights that he'd observed from his position on the ground, the females pounced upon their suitors with speed and ferocity. Pandemoniuth had the speed, but she'd replaced the ferocity with praise and encouragement. Her claws were tucked away for the sake of harmless leaping, not ripping and disposing of unsuitable suitors. She was such a silly green. He knew that though. He knew his sister, his silly sister and her silly silliness, so this unexpected stuff was somehow still entirely to be expected. He watched idly as she bounced from one dragon to the other, startling them all with her quirks, and then it was his turn. And he preened with the knowledge that he was the only one to be praised! He was so bright and he was so fun to jump off of, wasn't he? He'd certainly keep following her. He liked her too! And the games she played. So with a snap of his wings, a hard flap and bend, Ocouth was twisting back around to continue his pursuit of the green. He raced upwards without question, reckless and needy, and he was surprised when she was suddenly facing them. She was such a silly ridiculous green! But so bright, so beautiful, so he'd forgive her. She had fabulousness that could almost match his own, after all. She wanted to be impressed though! And Ocouth was nothing if not an impressive creature. She might as well just hand him the win right then! It wasn't fair to lead all the un-fabulous on. Back on the ground, in Tasakhori's weyr, soaring and confused, E'ra found himself in quite a predicament when the redhead, his friend and wingmate, took it upon herself to strip so abruptly and to skip around shamelessly. His eyes widened and his cheeks coloured swiftly. He couldn't recall the last time he'd seen a woman without clothing. Likely because he'd never seen a woman in such a state. Awkward. But he wanted anyways. He wanted to be the best, a rush of competition and playfulness holding itself even with his uncertainty of this first-time experience. He would have been swept up in watching her despite his modesty, but as Ocouth turned his attentions to the suitors that vied for Pandemoniuth's affections, sizing up their antics, he turned his own attentions to the side to take in the riders that occupied the weyr with him for the first time. Two men were dancing together. It made his brow crease in confusion and wonder. From all he'd heard, the competition among the chasers in the flight could get nasty. He'd never heard tales of dancing. Granted, he'd never heard of a dragon demanding such games out of her pursuing lot. He was distracted, caught up in the antics of two blueriders, when suddenly there was a grip on his hand, producing a squeak from him as his focus was easily captured by a blackrider that he knew all too very well. Immediately, he lit up at the sight of the man, the colour in his face only growing more as he took in the shirtlessness of him. And he was being spun. Spun, spun, spun, and spun—dancing, in their own peculiar way. His feet sought to keep up, dizziness captured his lust-ridden brain, and then he was twirled and that supporting grip on his hand was gone. He didn't manage a leap though; instead, he was stumbling to the ground with a hard plop, a giggle upon his lips. A throaty chuckle escaped the yellow as he watched his friend loop about him, extending his invitation to work together. Others had apparently taken this idea, but Reyith would always be his ideal teammate. Smoothly, he dipped himself to mimick the loop about the smaller beast, snapping his wings out as wide as he could to produce a wider berth than necessary. 'We can leeeap~ Come along!' He urged, swooping low to reach his claws out towards the black, as if he too would tug his friend right out of the sky before retracting his limbs quickly against his body to soar by the other dragon, moving ahead of him and aimed towards the green. They'd leap their way to her, then one of them could catch her! Even though it'd totally be him, duh.[/ul]

Excited to see what her suitors had in mind when she announced that they all had to do something fun, Pandemoniuth wriggled in the air, flapping her wings madly though she stayed in one place. Given that she was totally incapable of staying still in even the calmest of circumstances, the fact that the green was charged with exuberance and lust made the idea of Pandemoniuth staying still but a pipe dream. Naturally, her quick motions, even as she hovered, only grew quicker when her males began to show off for her.
Tommymartymarmartomtomarth was first, and the green watched in fascination as he dropped right out of the sky, shooting towards the water so fast she was almost positive that he'd smack into the ocean and make a great big splash. Knowing nothing of surface tension or the potentially dead dragon that would result from a collision, Pandy was eager to see what became of this dive, and she warbled encouragement from on high as Tomarth pulled out of his dive. What was he doing now? The green craned her neck to see, and she squealed in delight when, after he'd reached her, he dropped a fish on her back and proclaimed her the Fishdragon. Ooooh! It's so SHINY, Tommytomarmartymarth! That's fun, and I like fun, and thank you and now I think I'll eat this fish!
She proceeded to try and do just that, whipping around and snatching the fish out of the air before it had the chance to fall particularly far. Rather than actually eat it, however, Pandy let it hang half out of her jaws and swung her head around a couple of times. Only after that was done did she actually toss the fish back into the air and snap it down in a quick motion. From then on, her attention swiveled to Pirath and Harkenth. They were dancing! Oh, how delightful! And Harkenth informed her that she was one of the most energetic dragons he'd ever met. I am, aren't I? I have LOTS of energy! She did, too, and she zipped in a wild circle before letting her attention focus on the two dancing blues. They were awfully graceful, and handsome, and she did love them so! But there were others here too, and she had to make sure that they all did something super-duper fun! Majeth had vanished, and, having no idea where the iron had gone, Pandemoniuth trilled to her other three suitors. Tarvith's attempt to tickle her was misinterpreted as an attempt to catch her and tag her; the green squealed and warbled playfully at him before zipping away again, out of reach, with her brightly coloured tail twitching and flailing behind her. Now her attention swung to Reyith and Ocouth, her wingmates, and she crooned appreciatively as they came leapdragoning towards her. They knew how to play! Oh, this was the best game ever! Pandy crooned to both of them, her black and yellow friends, and fluttered up higher into the sky. This was about when she realized that the iron had spoken to her again, and he hadn't really disappeared... and how did you make a cloud? The method was soon shown to her, and Pandemoniuth gave a squeal of delight. It's so MISTY! And pretty! I like it; that's fun! Funfunfun! Gotta play in it! the green suddenly decided, and zipped down to race through the remnants of the steam before rocketing back up again, zigzagging wildly between her suitors. Okay. She was feeling restless and weird and she wanted to play! It was time to playplayplay, not show off and make her suitors show off too! Twisting between all her males, and crooning to each and every one of them, Pandy only paused when she was in front of them all again, wriggling excitedly in the air. Okay! I wanna play tag now, so we're gonna play tag -- that's when you catch each other, right? I think so, and if it wasn't before it is now and it's gonna be FUN so we're all going to have fun and it's going to be FUN! Was her vocabulary particularly interesting? No, not really, but that was why she was a silly green and not a smart gold or something. Pandy would not have done well as a gold. This, however, was of no concern to her, and she pointed her wings at her various males in turn. Reyith and Ocouth, you guys chase each other, and Pirath and Harkenth, and Tarvith and Majeth! That left one partner for her! Trilling, the green leapt higher into the air, and then surged forward, dropping down on top of Tomarth's back with her claws tightly curled in so she couldn't hurt him. Her wings flapped madly, and she warbled triumphantly, nuzzling the blue's neck. I caught a Tommytomarmarmartymarth! Be my BOAT, Tommytomarth! Boats are supposed to be fun to ride on. Mine says that she came here on a boat, and that it was fun and stuff, and you're fun so you're my boat and you already caught a fish so you're a fishing boat and I'm a fishdragon and isn't that WONDERFUL, Tommytomarth? Excited beyond belief, and apparently not realizing that she was doing this entirely wrong, Pandemoniuth wrapped her tail around the blue's and nestled into his back, chirping contentedly. Tasakhori wasn't as engaged in the actions of the people in her weyr as Pandy was with the antics of her suitors, but she turned to face them all the same, totally shameless in her nudity. The two pairs of dancing men made her giggle, and she clapped enthusiastically, only to be caught by Sarrasri when the other girl lunged for her and tickled her. Shrieking and flailing her arms, the diminutive greenrider giggled helplessly, and then managed to escape as her dragon raced down to play in Majeth's cloud of steam. There wasn't long now, she knew, and she danced through the crowd of suitors again, giggling and looking up at each of them. At last, though, Pandemoniuth chose her winner (sort of), and Tasa lunged straight for Paralee, bowling her over, fortunately onto the bed at the side of the room. "PARALEEEEEEE!" Her voice echoed in the weyr before it was drowned in giggles, and the naked greenrider cheerfully assaulted Paralee (admittedly in ways that probably wouldn't faze her friend at all). All thought of the other riders completely slipped from her mind as she ineptly fought to free her clothed winner from those horrible garments that were making her job so very difficult. Even if Pandy didn't have a clue what she was supposed to be doing, Tasakhori had kind of figured it out. (art courtesy of Lark! click for larger version)

With his overtures welcomed, Pirath flew around Harkenth very delicately indeed - so close that their wings nearly laced together; so close that he could trail his tail along the other blue's body. It wasn't what he'd expected to be doing in a Flight; it wasn't what he'd Risen to do, by any means.
But it wasn't entirely unwelcome, either. Not unpleasant...
Even if Pandemoniuth hardly seemed aware of the call she was giving out, Pirath most definitely felt it cease when she made her choice, unconventional though the manner of it was. But while in other Flights, he'd just turned around and gone back to his weyr once he'd lost... this time, well, maybe this time he wouldn't have to just go entirely without.
Maybe it wouldn't really work, but if nothing else, the moments of contact might be nice... He flew a little closer to Harkenth, crooning, straining to twine his tail with the other blue's.
In Tasa's weyr, A'fel lurched as the main strength of the Flightlust faded. It wasn't him, this time; and in a moment of lucidity, he was kind of glad for that.
And yet... Pirath wasn't willing to give up entirely just yet. What on Pern...
Well... he was in no state to be puzzling that out right now. Maybe later.
"Hey," he murmured to E'rael, seizing his arm - not in a rigid grip, but definitely getting his point across - and grinning, jerking his chin over to the door out of the greenrider's weyr. There were worse things than a lost Flight... and worse ways to deal with that loss.

Their dance was a wonderful slice of heaven, but like most precious things in life, it couldn't last forever. Pandemoniuth was changing the rules again, turning playtime into a group activity again, but shortly after she flew into Tomarth and made her selection. Pirath and Harkenth were still entwined in their display of grace and beauty, but the darker Blue lost some of that mojo when the Green chose another. One that was neither himself nor his partner. The lust however, remained rather strong. Harkenth didn't have an off switch for something like this. He wasn't like most dragons who accepted their fate with steely resignation. He had to do one of two things whenever he lost a flight.
Fly until he couldn't fly anymore, or fly home with someone else instead.
The later hardly ever happened. One time, when he failed to catch a lovely river-patterned Green, he flew back home alongside a lonely Black, but they did not cuddle at his weyr for comfort. So 99% of the time, Harkenth flew off into the distance and returned after exhausting all that lust out of his body. He was prepared to do the very same now, used to the same old routine, but his partner wasn't done with him all because of a little loss.
Harkenth heard Pirath's croon as the Blue drew nearer to him. If he could beam a smile, he would have. Without fighting the lighter beast in the slightest, he allowed their tails to twine and flew with him. Wherever Pirath wanted to take him, he would go without a fuss.
E'rael had another sight to contend with. Tasakhori was tackling another rider into her bed. Tomarth's rider; a female whose name he did not know. He didn't know anyone's name--not really. He had only been here for less than a month. Unlike his dragon, whose lust only tapered off instead of shutting down completely, E'rael had it in his mind that the flight was over. The feeling that irked him would go away like it always had; in about a half-hour's time after a few minutes of privacy. Dignity was reserved for the public face. Right now, the people in the weyr could care less where he was going and for how long he'd be gone, as long as he showed up for drills tomorrow. But something was wrong. Something went different. Rather than a decline in lust, a sudden surge overwhelmed him. His arm tingled where A'fel touched him, and he was lost in some sort of haze as the rider gestured outside. Sure. He would bite. E'rael couldn't quite guess what any of this meant, but he knew he would feel better if he went along with it. And it wasn't as if A'fel was revolting to look at. If he was, the Bluerider might have snapped out of it, demanding explanations. None were needed. Follow the other Bluerider, wherever he might take you. Fair enough. As long as something good comes of it.

he trilled sweetly to her. Paralee, glad that for once this flights dose of flightlust was not as bad as others. But the moment Pandemoniuth made her choice, choosing Tomarth as her 'boat' Paralee felt the wave come once more. She let out a surprised little laugh but it was cut short by high pitched squeal of her name and a naked greenrider 'attacked her' pushing her onto the bed. Giggling along with Tasa, she too forgot all about the other people in the room, aiding her 'attacker' in removing her annoying clothes that were getting in the way of their plans and letting the flightlust take hold.
