Why are you so quiet, F'letMine? Its such a pretty day! Can't we, ya know, go flying? And be loud! Its a good day to be loud. Always brimming with energy and happiness, Doppelith was practically dancing at the edge of his weyr, peering down and about with the short-attention span of a canine puppy. One his head were the infamous Run and Ram, both of whom were helping Doppelith fill the air with sound, their absent chattering making the Purple even more happy.
I'm by R'ori's room, Doppelith. F'let replied in a quiet whisper of a thought, the actual person biting his lip as he stood at the door, one hand on the knob and his hips squirming behind him. I don't know if he's awake or not though...I don't want to startle him!
Doppelith laughed, shaking his head and accidentally sending the flits flying, Silly Mine! I think he likes it when you do that! So, ya know, hurry up and say hi so we can go flying! Ooh! Seeming to suddenly figure things out, the Purple gave a soft trill of merriment, wiggling happily on his ledge, Maybe Vediameth will fly with me! She's so pretty, isn't she, Mine?
F'let chuckled and smiled, the flit on his shoulder rubbing her cheek happily against his. He reached up to pat her and turned the door knob, slipping into the room quietly. Just like Her Mine, Doppel.
At first, when the boy slunk in, he didn't see hide nor hair of...well..anything R'ori related. But after a little exploring, he found the boy curled up with his Green on the floor, and F'let didn't try to hide the smile that spread onto his lips. Stealthily he slunk to the duo, careful to keep even his constant jingling perfectly silent as Queen lurked on his shoulders as quietly as F'let. The blackette knelt on the ground beside R'ori's slumbering body, and he peered at it softly. Doppelith very gently touched His's mind, blinking his sweet eyes as he did.
Just like Her Mine.
F'let glanced up at the dragon's words, but didn't reply, instead turning his stare again to R'ori. Gingerly he reached out, running a thumb fondly over R'ori's cheek. But before the other could wake up and catch him like this he plopped loudly down and with a cheerful laugh, poked the boy in the side. "Mornin', R'ori! Sleeping on the floor, huh? That's not good for you!"

R'ori and Vediameth were both fast asleep together. There were still shells scattered all over the black haired boy's bed, as he couldn't figure out how to clean them off without breaking them into tinier pieces. He got so frustrated that he'd ended up just sleeping with Vediameth, to avoid cutting himself. The Green had found it all very amusing, though she welcomed Hers over to her own sleeping area with no problems. It was a nice little bonding time for the two of them, and at least they were allowed back in their own room again. But sleeping on the floor was starting to kill R'ori's back.
Neither of the two stirred when F'let snuck into the room, not even the usually very observant Vediameth. They slept soundly away, that is, until F'let poked him and began to talk. R'ori opened his eyes slowly, drowsily wondering if he was still dreaming. Nope, his back hurt, he wasn't dreaming. If he was dreaming, he wouldn't be able to feel pain... or the weight of Asmo, who had taken to tucking herself in between his arms. But then why was F'let there? It took him longer to figure it out than Vediameth, who got it right away. He snuck in, her voice was full of amusement at the fact that he'd snuck in so well that even she didn't wake up. But then again, Vediameth was a rather deep sleeper. But oh, if the rider was here, then her favorite Purple must be close by. Good morning, Doppelith, she greeted him as R'ori sat up, causing Asmo to flop over on the floor, not waking up yet. He poked her once and the pink sprung to life, chirping excitedly after spotting Queen on F'let's shoulder and whirling up to sit on Vediameth's head. Phareon was banished to sleep on R'ori's bed... which, really, wasn't much of a punishment, but R'ori was still rather irritated with the Bronze. R'ori rubbed his eyes and finally registered what F'let had said. "Well my bed is covered in eggshells and I don't need any more scars from that, so I just gave up and went to sleep with Vediameth," he said with a sigh, ruffling his hair in an attempt to make it look less like he'd slept on it. But his tried expression changed quickly to a frown, "H..hey! You snuck in my room! How long have you been watching me sleep?" he demanded. R'ori really didn't mind F'let coming to wake him up this early, but he still felt rather embarassed that F'let had watched him sleep, even if it'd only been for a few minutes. What if he'd talked in his sleep and said something stupid?! Like he didn't already say stupid things when he was awake. Asmo chirped some more and energetically flew straight into his lap, then crawled up R'ori's shoulder so she was eye-level with Queen.[/blockquote]

The moment--through F'let's eyes--Doppelith saw that Vediameth and Hers were beginning to awake he launched himself into air, eye-blindingly bright hide flashing in the morning light as he soared to the nearby weyr, perching on the ledge with a trill of greeting. Happily he pranced in, tripping slightly in his eagerness, but collecting himself easily. Good morning, Vediameth! Did you sleep well? You look so beautiful today, you must have rested very well indeed!
"Eggshells? Still?" With a wide-eyed stare and a blink, F'let looked over to the other room, tilting his head slightly before bursting out with a laugh, grinning wide as could be as he looked back to R'ori, "How silly! You should've told me! I'd've come and help ya get them a while ago." Laughing, he leaned down and grabbed R'ori's arm, pulling him towards the bed cheerfully before, with a pause, he wheeled on the man, a subtly seductive look in place, "Although...you know...instead of sleeping on the floor.." He sashayed closer, swaying his hips as he slid his arms around R'ori's neck, pulling him slightly down until their faces were inches apart, "..you could have come slept with me."
Winking, he withdrew, grinning once more, and was skipping off to the bed again, leaning in to inspect the shells curiously. "Not very long." He replied honestly, poking at a shell, "Just long enough to hea--ow!" Squeaking in pain he withdrew, clutching a bleeding finger close to his chest as he pouted and stared at the shell that had "bitten" him, and he gave a soft whimper, snorting absently. "M'sorry for sneakin' in." He murmured, peering at his injured finger as Queen chattered curiously back at Asmo, her little eyes whirling pleasantly, "I just wanted to see ya...and you looked so peaceful...and...this really stings."

Vediameth watched Doppelith trip into her weyr with a rumble. He really was an interesting dragon. Well, he was a Purple, and the Purples usually were the more interesting of the dragons. They were funny, which was great for Vediameth, who loved the simple things that amused her. Thank you, Doppelith, I did have a very nice sleep. You're looking very... handsome yourself. You are quite graceful today, she hadn't meant the last part as a meant-spirited thing at all, it was more like an oddly phrased compliment, and she knew Doppelith well enough for him to likely not take offense from it. Grace was overrated, anyway. It was much more fun to trip around, wasn't it? R'ori frowned, looking over at his bed. "Well it wasn't really that big of a deal," he muttered as F'let pulled him to his feet, dragging him over to his sharding bed. He felt his heart speed up as F'let spun around and wrapped his arms around his neck, pulling their faces closer. R'ori tried his hardest not to blush (because that was what girls did, and he was not a girl) but couldn't stop the faint pinkness of his face. "I... didn't think it'd be right to bother you and Doppelith again. Besides, I'm fine on the floor. I hear it's good for one's back," he pulled that right out of the air and was rather proud of himself for coming up with such a good excuse, and even managing a grin to go along with it. He slowly followed F'let over to his bed, Asmo still perched on his shoulder, clinging to his neck, and R'ori had been about to warn F'let of the dangers of touching the shells on his bed when the other found that out for himself. R'ori sighed. He felt weirdly guilty about the fact that it'd been his bed that hurt F'let... but hey, there had been a reason he was sleeping on the floor. Shells sharding hurt! Asmo chattered back to Queen, the little pink moving constantly, she was unable to sit still for very long. Phareon was still asleep among the shells, it didn't seem like they bothered him at all. With another sigh, R'ori reached around behind his bed and grabbed a roll of bandages, ripping off a small piece, one that would wrap around F'let's hand. "Here, let me see that," he took F'let's hand, gently, regardless of response and began wrapping the injured finger up with the bandage. "I have some numbweed, if you want it, but it doesn't look that bad," he said with a shrug. R'ori was no healer and he never wanted to be, but with these shells in his bed he'd finally done something smart and bothered the Infirmary for a spare roll of bandages and a little thing of numbweed to help him when he eventually started the task of cleaning the shells off his bed. Still, it felt kind of good to fix F'let's hand, even if R'ori was still trying to convince himself that he was... straight. But he'd stopped caring about that... well, he didn't care nearly as much as he used to.[/blockquote]

With a cheerful croon, Doppelith sashayed over to Vediameth and spread his wings, stretching one over here with a laugh-like trumpet. Hahaha! I guess I did, ya know, trip pretty bad. He chirped, flicking his tail as he took a seat as close to Vediameth as he dared, silently hoping she'd want to sit closer. He liked contact--just a big ol' snuggler, as F'let would call him.
"You wouldn't have bothered us." F'let chirped in response, watching as Doppelith folded his wings, eyes whirling a speedy blue, before looking again to R'ori, "I like it when you come visit! And besides.." A wicked grin spread onto his lips as he winked, swinging his hips happily as he continued along his way, "Sleeping on stone is bad for your back, R'ori-ro." Chuckling, he made his way to the bed, discovering just why the blackette had given up his egg-shell-destruction attempt.
Pouting--but aware he'd brought it upon himself--he patiently allowed the other to bandage his hand, but while R'ori's eyes were on the dancer's fingers, F'let's were on R'ori. Seemed like everytime that F'let looked away, he looked back to see that R'ori was even more attractive. It was a plague, watching this beautiful man get more and more amazing...only to see yourself stuck...unable to get any closer.
He bit his lip subtly as the man withdrew, but a smile quickly slid onto his expression as he chuckled and shook his head, "No, I don't need numbweed. But..." Mind set he leaned forwards, arms again sliding around R'ori's neck to pull him closer. But this time, he slunk closer as well, pressing his own body against the broader boy's as he leaned up, pressing his lips gently against the corner of R'ori's mouth. Deviously, he smirked, and refused to back an inch away, "Won't you kiss me and make it better?"

Vediameth laughed again, moving closer to Doppelith. She wasn't much of a cuddler herself, but she liked and trusted Doppelith, so she didn't mind sitting close and snuggling with him. You did. And you could have just asked me to sit closer to you, she said, eyes whirling mischeviously as she placed her head very close to his, If I'd been any less intelligent I wouldn't have even noticed, her tone was rather airy, though she was only lightly teasing him. She wasn't one for implications either, it was much easier just to say everything direct. Vediameth wasn't a stupid, airheaded Green, but like all others of her color, she had her moments. It was usually just that no one saw those moments except R'ori, and Vediameth would certainly rather keep it that way. R'ori just rolled his eyes at F'let's response. He knew, of course, that he wouldn't be bothering F'let. Not with the way the other had enjoyed cuddling with him at night as much as Doppelith enjoyed snugging with Vediameth. It had been an interesting... experience, R'ori admitted, but he felt awkward and uncomfortable and he didn't know what to do. He'd... almost enjoyed it, being so close to another person that he wasn't just planning a one-night stand with. Jeez, what had happened to the R'ori that enjoyed being a "player" and seeing how many girls he could get at one time? .... F'let had happened, that's what. Of course, R'ori also knew F'let well enough that he'd been expecting something like a "won't you kiss it to make it better?". But he'd been prepared to kiss F'let's finger... not the actually man himself. That was different. They weren't kids anymore, and R'ori honestly should have expected that too, but he wasn't exactly the smartest around, was he? However, it was probably time that R'ori faced himself and figured out just what he was doing. He couldn't deny it any longer, could he? He was still stringing to maybe bisexuality, but even that wasn't going to cut it. R'ori didn't want to admit it, but... F'let just looked so... cute, staring up at him like that, their faces close together. He also bit his lip slightly, moving his head a bit further away, but F'let wasn't moving. His blue eyes narrowed and he tenatively leaned it. "If it'll make you feel better...." he muttered, sounding like he was talking more to himself than to the other, either way he moved in and pressed his lips against F'let's. It wasn't a particularly deep kiss, but it didn't have to be. R'ori felt... happy. He still wasn't fully accepting anything, and he wasn't going to admit it out loud (and he'd block it from Vediameth if he could, but he knew that was impossible), but F'let had completely captivated him. There was definitely no going back to girls now... that was for sure.[/blockquote]

Doppelith gave a soft croon and fluttered his wings when she moved, and he happily leaned partially against her, marveling in the warmth of her hide against his. I didn't want to bother you. He chirped, eyes whirling faster as he looked at her, gleeful that she would be willing to be so close. For some reason, no matter how many times she accepted his presence, he always found it to be a wonderfully new thing. Like a goldfish who woke up in a new world every day, he found each moment with her to be new and amazing. But you are that smart. He added after a moment, blinking bemusedly, You're incredibly smart, ya know, smarter than me!
While Doppelith was basking in the glory that was Vediameth's approval, F'let was intent on a completely different thing. Heart pounding, he watched with baited breath as R'ori spoke, and then leaned in, and the blackette arched eagerly into the kiss the moment lips brushed against his own. With a soft, audible sigh of well-earned happiness he let his eyes slide closed, unconciously pressing closer and closer to R'ori as the dancer pulled the other down, deepening the kiss impatiently.
All the worry, all the fretting and the wanting and hoping were brushed away from his mind as he opened his mouth, his tongue pressing between R'ori's lips and invading the cavern beyond. Hungrily, insistent and determined, the dancer pressed even further into the other, pushing him towards the bed. He felt rather than saw the back of R'ori's knees hit the mattress, and he eagerly followed, shoving him over with the full intent to follow and pin him there. He wasn't going to give up this time.

Vediameth chuckled lightly at how they were reversed. Didn't want to bother her? That is exactly what Mine said. You know that it would not bother me, she was extremely amused at how reversed they were in that aspect. Well, they couldn't be all that reversed, as Vediameth was not nearly as wherrybrained and in denial as R'ori was. Still, it was rather funny. Oh, well, thank you, she took his compliment to her intelligence gracefully, though still with a slight draconic smirk. She wasn't watching Her's as he began to finally accept himself, but she could feel it. She was proud of him. But R'ori wasn't paying attention to Vediameth, which was probably a good thing, because her vague amusement of the situation would probably make him even less likely to follow along with F'let. He'd known the moment he initiated the kiss that he wasn't going to be let off easy this time, and he was fully prepared for what was most likely to follow. He was ready. He wasn't inexperienced, he'd had plenty of girls before... well, you know. He deepened the kiss himself as F'let pulled him down. Jeez... he was impatient. Wasn't this too fast? No. Of course not. It'd been years, hadn't it? F'let had tricked him back when they were still Candidates. That was almost two turns now. They were ready. ... R'ori was ready. He allowed F'let to take control for the time being, and felt himself opened his mouth as well, starting off awkwardly moving his tongue around F'let's and then gradually getting better. They were moving, F'let was pushing him somewhere, but R'ori had stopped caring. He was ready now and it wasn't going to wait for Vediameth's flight or even after graduation. They were close enough, and if they were interupted with his stupid insecurities R'ori was sure he wouldn't have another moment like this. He felt the back of his knees touch the back of the bed and then F'let pushed him back on his own bed. And he was greeted with a thousand shells sticking straight into his back and behind, resulting in R'ori giving a loud yelp and breaking the kiss reluctantly. "Ow! Owowowowowow!! F'let, get off! The shells! Owwww! Sharding shells!" he cursed even more, meeting with resistance from F'let as he made to sit up, but he was bigger, and was able to push the other boy off him in his urgency to get off the shards digging into his back. Vediameth was immediately alert to Her's pain. Doppelith, Mine is in pain. A lot of pain. Tell Yours to take him to the Infirmary, Vediameth said to the Purple, sending soothing thoughts over to Hers. His pride was probably scratched up just as much as his backside was, and there was no way he'd go to the infirmary without F'let dragging him there. Wow, Hers really wasn't ever allowed a moment to accept this, was he? Someone up there sure was against him, Vediameth mused.[/blockquote]

Okay, now he was confused. A second ago, everything was going well. He was kissing the boy of his dreams, and the boy was kissing back! More than just kissing back, he was responding and initiating contact, and seemed to be enjoying it just as much as F'let. But now that same boy was yelling in pain and telling him to move and shoving!
Startled, he sat up quickly, but not all the way, confusion melting into startled fear for the larger boy as he squeaked and struggled to get up and out of the way. With a yelp, he realized just what was causing R'ori so much pain, his arms connecting with the bed only to be impaled with hundreds of the tiny blades that had shredded his finger before! In pain and still worried he scrambled to get up, eventually pushed aside by R'ori's more impressive form. Rather than be insulted by the man-handling, however, he was relieved, and quickly grabbed ahold of the other man's arms, struggling to steady the fellow even as his own arms were dripping blood all over the floor.
"Oh R'ori I'm so sorry! I forgot, I forgot!" He blabbered, eyes wide with fear that that other would hate him, be angry at him! But immediately Doppelith was there, soothing the trembling dancer with a wave of confident feelings and relaxed comfort. Its okay, F'letMine! He's not angry--Vediameth says to go to the infirmary--Oveth's will patch him up! Yes! That would work! Immediately, F'let forced himself to calm down--it didn't work well--and began to insistently pull the poor injured boy with him, "C-Come on, R'ori! We have to go to the Infirmary. B'nyur'll fix it!"

R'ori felt a little bad for shoving F'let as roughly as he did... but shards, he couldn't be blamed for that! Those things were sharp! Like little razors! Stupid Shanza, stupid Phareon.... The Bronze in question was no longer curled up asleep on the bed, as he had poofed between somewhere in an attempt to avoid R'ori's rage. Asmo had gone with him, though as soon as R'ori had felt the pain of the eggshells she'd popped back and was chirping frantically above him. Vediameth was smart enough to soothe the hyperactive pink with a few calming emotions, and while she was still extremely worried and frantic, she'd settled on the pale green dragon's head. Phareon had also taken a chance and blinked out of between and on to Vediameth's head, both firelizard perched there and cooed in concern for Theirs.
The black haired man could feel the blood from the cuts beginning to drip and it made him feel queasy. Oh shards, there was even more blood dripping on him now, where was it coming from? Oh, from F'let's hand. Ah... he'd gotten cut up too, and was now grabbing at R'ori's arms and managed to pull R'ori to his feet. He faintly wondered if he was losing too much blood and if that was why he felt dizzy, but that was probably just because of how much it sharding hurt and because he was being overdramatic about the whole thing. Most of all, though, he was incredibly embarassed.
"The Infirmary?! No no, no way!" he protested, face reddening. They were going to have to explain what happened! If it wasn't already painfully obvious. Oh Faranth, everyone already knew about his embarassing situation with Shanza, half the Weyr had been at that firelizard Hatching! They'd know the reason why his back was all scratched up and why there were shells in his butt and on F'let's arms... no no no no, that was not going to happen. Mine, Vediameth's voice was serious in his mind, If you do not go with him, I will pick you up with my teeth and drag you there myself, she said seriously, and R'ori resigned to his fate, allowing F'let to take him to the Infirmary.[/blockquote]
