He'd quite taken his time getting to the candidate barracks. Really, he'd seen no rush. The items he brought with him were minimal - a ratty shoulder bag with a pair of pants and a shirt inside, and his guitar. That's really all he needed. So, it wasn't like he had been bogged down and eager to drop his stuff. In fact, he'd probably wandered the entirety of the lower caverns before leisurely heading to the barracks. He'd passed it several times - he knew where it was.
There were a fair amount of taken rooms. Apparently, there were already quite a few candidates here. That was all fine and dandy - he really didn't care about his room. Back home, it was a messy, tiny thing. Here, it probably wouldn't be any different. The one he did settle on, though, was a bit of a beat-up place which was left unoccupied until now for an obviously reason. The cot had definitely seen better days, and so had the walls. Isintier smiled to himself.
"Well, hello there, room," he said, stepping over the threshold. "How are you, today? Not lonely for long, I'd hope. You have some charm, room. Quite some charm." Immediately, he felt attached to its place, what with its sad state of disrepair and dim glows.
He dropped his shoulder bag on the bed, sat down, and swung his guitar to his front. He purposely left the door open as he left, because in his opinion, Room could use some fresh air. With that, he made his way back out into the tunnels, and settled himself against a nondescript wall in a calmer spot of the lower caverns. There was a look of thought on his face, and his fingers idly plucked out a curious tune as he debated what song to play for real. [/blockquote]

It could not be denied that, amongst his other strange talents, Kaitecoon had one very big thing for locating other musicians. It was like a sixth sense, this strange knowing that somewhere nearby...was someone he wanted to get to know. Someone whose fingers sought instruments as needily as his own, and who could actually play. So it didn't strike him as too surprising when--after a lazy wandering about the lower caverns--he found himself almost being lead a specific direction.
Humming as he went--and occasionally pausing to flip--he made his way as his heart lead him, and with a broad grin, paused when the familiar sound of tuning met his ears. His grin grew as he recognized a string instrument, and with a light laugh, he immediately set towards the sound.
A few moments passed, and with his body already filled with the energy only music and instruments could give him, he poked his head around a corner. The sight of a candidate plopped on the ground with a guitar on his lap made his grin--which was already incredibly broad--grow larger still, and he gave a soft laugh as he sidled into view. "Well! Its nice to see another player around here." Chuckling, the dancer sashayed to the man's side, his dreadlocked bangs danging in front of him like antennae as he leaned over and inspected the instrument, "S'lovely sound. A lovely instrument...must've cost a pretty penny."

Tier had looked up as soon as he had noticed Kaitecoon, which really wasn't the fast. He'd been in his own world of thought, quite distracted, playing through snippets of songs in his mind and trying to pick one. He smiled an odd lopsided smile in reply to the dancer's grin. His plucking kept going even as he spoke. His fingers played fine on their own - they didn't need a mind to help.
"You play, too?" he asked, smile softening to a more lazy one. He looked down at his guitar. "Ah, well, this beauty... She's an old one. Not in the best shape. There aren't many of her, though... So yes, she was a bit of a pricey creature." A chord progression came when he paused from speaking. "I make her sing, though."
He chuckled, and played out a sweet little melody, humming along. When he stopped, he looked back at Kaitecoon and smiled again.
"I'm Tier," he said. "And this is Annabelle." He affectionately stroked the top of his guitar. A blind man could see how much he loved it. [/blockquote]
