Kio's grin faltered a bit at the tone. Well... what had he expected? Even if the hate was gone, it didn't mean love was there. He almost felt... what, was that hurt? The black-haired boy almost laughed cruely at himself. What had he expected, hmm? He didn't even like R'fus, riiight? So what did it matter? But he managed to keep his smirk as he leaned back, shoving his hands into the pockets of his jacket and smirking. He didn't have any plans to continue. "Hmm... so even when you're so high you can't stand up you'll reject me?" he said quietly, almost to himself, almost sad, almost longing, but not quite. He was so full of himself that rejection hadn't even crossed his mind. Which was probably why it'd stung a bit... and that, in turn, only made him want to go after R'fus even more.
But just as he was about to... lean in again, Kiosk suddenly filled his thoughts with distress and panic. Something was wrong. Bad. Bad bad bad! Kio turned around, surprise evident on his face as he noticed that Eondith was not, in fact, asleep as he'd thought. Or disconnected from R'fus. It... was scary. The dragon was kind of scary. But Kio just laughed a low, humorlous laugh. He walked past the dragon without fear of it attacking him, as he could fully understand the reason for it's anger, and picked up Kiosk, holding the Blue wher close to him. Not out of his own fear, of course, but because the Blue was shaking. He did not like Eondith! Not at all, not ever! Scary, scary, big and scary!
With a wry grin he walked past R'fus and his dragon and towards the door to his weyr. "I'm done here," he said as he left, stopping, but not turning around. "I've seen all I need to. Ah... enjoy the rest of your night!" His voice was back to it's annoying, arrogant tone and he sort of tilted his head in an attempt to wave without hands. "I'm sure we'll see each other soon enough," he said, quieter and more sincere than the other two statements... but he left laughing, showing how amused he was. How definitely-not-bothered he was.
But as soon as he was out of sight, he scowled. The rejection had hurt his ego. Not enough to make him re-think his ways or even change how he acted towards R'fus... but enough to annoy him. Kiosk was sad His was sad... but His would never tell him the reason why, and Kiosk would never understand why. Not sad. It was a fun night, he said, almost more to himself than to Kiosk. Well... even if he hadn't... done anything extremely "special", he'd secured his place in the ranks of the fellis dealers. He'd have the whole Weyr, including R'fus, eating out of his hand eventually.
Eventually.
