Candidatemaster  Jasmine Yellow Weslieth | - Jazz became Candidmatemaster in spring 3. She is typically the one who will be greeting new Candidates and liaising with the Searchdragons; she is the general go-to person for female Candidates with problems, though she will not turn away boys, of course! She's 47 turns old, bisexual, outgoing, responsible but a bit of a troublemaker, and a lover of all animals. She is VERY NOSY and a little brash. - Jazz grew up in Ista Weyr, the daughter of a healer and a cook. She refused a Search at the age of twelve but her brothers kidnapped her and shoved her on the sands. She acted, over time, as a Candidatemaster, a Weyrlingmaster, and a wingsecond there, and likely knows MANY characters from Ista Weyr as a result. - Weslieth is SUNSHINE and RAINBOWS. - They have a canine, Poppy, who is a frequent visitor to the Candidate Barracks. Jazz also owns a domesticated tunnelsnake, Klahdia. |
Betahandler  Kalenna Gold Kalesk | - Kalenna is 40, heterosexual, confident, and responsible. She is a natural leader who typically does not make close friends. She will not tolerate bullying in her sphere of influence. She currently acts as betahandler, as well as the prideleader of Bravo Pride. - Kalesk is a LION WHER. She is very modest and quiet for a gold; she knows her own worth, and she has an inherent understanding of the value of others, too. Obviously this makes her suspicious of most, and extremely protective of Kalenna. She is a bit claustrophobic and hates crowds, and loves nothing more than to be out in the open air. |
Wingrider  Day'ar Viridian Ambrith | - Day'ar is 23, bisexual, paranoid, untrusting, and riddled with anxieties. He is a total hypochondriac. However, he loves to learn and he is a loyal and loving friend. He is weyrmates with G'dan of green Prith. - Day'ar is the son of the steward and Assistant Headwoman of Ruatha Hold. He was a huge disappointment, but people from Ruatha likely know of him. Day'ar selected a ground-floor Weyr beside the infirmary. Stuff wanders in all the time. Sometimes stuff wanders out; he owns six pillies and a canine, Cecy. His gray pillie, Starfall, is pretty well known as an evil genius. - Ambrith is a grumpy old man dragon. He has Opinions and he is decidedly not the nicest. |
Wingrider Animatamora White Zucherroth | - Anima, as she prefers to be called, is 28, heterosexual, impulsive, judgmental, and a total commitmentphobe. She is friendly and outgoing, but actually trusting people does not come easy to her. - Zucherroth is blind, but makes up for it with extreme empathy. He is usually optimistic, playful, and tactless, but his excellent memory means he also remembers pain and grief. He's extremely well-known around the Weyr, and is an excellent searchdragon. - Anima owns bronze firelizard Klepto and a canine, Aren. |
Wingrider  M'iles Blue Taceuth | - M'iles is 20, bisexual, and highly charismatic. He will do anything to be liked. However, he's also untrusting and never lets anyone get to know the "real" him. He's very, very ambitious. Very. He loves pranks. He has a HUGE sibling rivalry with his brother, Th'or. Also a raging inferiority complex. - Taceuth is a Harper. He likes writing and recording history, he has a great memory, and he is fond of politics, intrigue, and gossip. - M'iles owns blue firelizard Lorikiet. |
Wingrider  C'mere Cyan Cincith | - C'mere is 20, heterosexual, and a lying liar who lies. He's a nice enough guy, but he has severe social anxiety and tends to just change his story to try to make whoever he's talking to happier. He is married to Taza of pink Samputh, although their relationship is complicated, and is a journeyman Dolphineer. - Cincith is energy in dragon form, never sitting still, always eager for new experiences and things that are super exciting. - C'mere is still technically bonded to dolphin Triss. |
Wingrider  Ni'on Cyan Devath | - Ni'on is 21, heterosexual, dreamy, clumsy, and a bit of a dork. He loves to make people happy and he's almost always very calm and content. He is a former Harper apprentice and can often be found sketching, doing magic tricks, and coaching his firelizard quartet: black Drummer, brown Piper, yellow Flute, and pink Strummer. - Devath loves dreams and the changing world. She's a sweetheart. She is not a proper Searchdragon, but she does Search rather often. |
Wingrider Allele Green Torvith | - Allele is 20, homosexual, and talkative. She loves to talk, and to tell largely-embellished stories. She's a hard worker, and not too trusting. She hates conflict and will often act as a mediator. She loves animals of all kinds and is an apprentice Herder. - Torvith is a Victorian. She's a bit of a priss, fussy about cleanliness, and bossy. She is not, however, afraid to get her hands dirty in service of ending conflict. She desires long-term commitment and will not rise until she's found her soulmate. |
Wingrider  Fahra Green Eriputh | - Fahra is 22, bisexual, and the little sister of former Weyrwoman Fajra. As such she is completely unintimidated by authority (or indeed by much of anything). She is extroverted, talkative, and an incorrigible flirt, though she's not interested in commitment. - Eriputh is a manipulative meddler who enjoys chaos, conflict, and drama. She is easily bored and will do just about anything to make life interesting. |
Wingrider Delilah Pink Agnith | - Delilah is 20, heterosexual, and sort of in a relationship with Sebolaren. Sort of. She is generally an introvert and prefers to be guided rather than guide, but she is far from a pushover. She is an apprentice healer actively working toward her journeymanship. She recently saw the Hopeholder class to graduation as their Weyrlingmaster. - Agnith is THE BEST PINK OF ALL TIME EVER. She is based on fire and embodies that enthuasism, energy, and passion. Usually she is very happy, but if someone insults her Delilah, they can expect to be thwacked. - They have a brown firelizard, Lion. |
Wingrider Saia Pink Poissoth | - Saia is 20, bisexual, and extremely passionate about life. She loves people, even if she's thoroughly tactless. She dyes her hair as red as she can get it. Hair dye is awesome. - Poissoth is energetic and can usually be found running in circles. She loves to have fun. She may appear dimwitted because she uses circular logic and likes to repeat words when they sound nice, but she can be quite insightful. - Saia owns pink pillie Flip, pink firelizard Sparkle, blue firelizard Seawave, and canine Dusky. |
Wingrider I'co Black Patayth | - I'co is 21, heterosexual, and very mellow, almost unshakeable. He's curious to the point of being slightly gullible. Sometimes he acts like a detective. He has an excellent memory but is totally inept with his hands. - Patayth is MISTER ADORABLEFACE. He is easily distracted (BY SQUIRRELS) and wanders off a lot. He is a total pacifist. He develops strong bonds with certain dragons and will not be shaken from them by anything. |
Weyrling  Frayya Tan Sixwith | -Frayya is 19, bisexual, and ambitious - but only in a certain way. She wants to be a Master Weaver, and Impressing has not changed that desire. She's goal-oriented, self-centered, and incredibly serious. She faked a promotion to journeyman during the plague and is now in serious trouble both with her Hall and with the Weyr, by virtue of being kind of a crap rider. - Sixwith believes that she is dead, and has a variety of spooky tics to prove it. Apart from her ghostliness, she is very smart for a tan! - They own green firelizard Pest. |
Weyrling  Sian Blue Shalith | - Sian is 19, bisexual but mostly interested in men. Well, "interested." See, Sian is a feminist. She hates men for their predatory nature, and her goal in life is to make Pern less sexist overall. She masqueraded as a boy for many turns, including as a Candidate at Dalibor, and her outing was extremely public and traumatising at the hatching where she Impressed. She is now working to redeem herself in the eyes of the Weyr leadership. She once punched a bronze in the face. - Shalith is a stalwart commander and responsible leader. He is also hugely socially inept and tends to stumble over his words when he gets confused about a more casual interaction. - Sian owns green firelizard Vine. |
Weyrling  Valentine Black Drocheath | - Valentine is 20, bisexual, and a longtime resident of Western Hold, nursing a massive crush on Lord Holder D'lios. She's sassy, curious, and eager to learn, but she can be rather arrogant and judgmental as well. She is an apprentice Baker. - Drocheath is melancholy and rebellious, or at least that's how he acts. Secretly he's kind of square, but he's effectively a moody teenager and must hide his true nature under a grim fascination with the color black. He is a Sparkle and is thus the largest black on Pern, the size of a subking. |
Priderunner  Edison Green Esk | - Edison is 27, bisexual but mainly interested in women, and extremely eccentric. He is highly curious with a low attention span. Sometimes he's an inventor, a detective, or a hunter. He is very, very loud. - Esk is opinionated and hypercritical, often in very silly ways. But you better never call her silly, because she is clearly The Best. She is talkative just like Hers. They will talk your ears off. - Edison owns canine Alwher and firelizards pink Puff and blue Wonderland. |
Priderunner  Mya Black Mysk | - Mya is 18, bisexual, and blind. She has been blind from birth, with only a small degree of light perception to count on; thus, she copes very well with it. She's not bothered by being questioned about it. She is very sweet but a bit stubborn and independent, and often feels a little left out. - Mysk is a Ditto. He is sweet and likes things that are funny, but you'd never know, because he can always be found imitating someone or something. Always. - Mya owns blue flit |
Headwoman  Dravynea Dalibor Weyr | - Vinnie is 60, recently-minted Headwoman of Dalibor, and is a huge gossip. She knows everything about everyone and has no problem sticking her nose into other people's business. She's everyone's grandmother, and more savvy than she might appear. - Vinnie has a huge family, from a marriage she loved despite being gay. Now that her husband is dead she's free to explore her sexuality with like-aged ladies. Since she has no problem being herself, she often tries to matchmake the kiddies, particularly those who seem to still be figuring themselves out. |
Lady Holder  Samara Crescent Hold | - Samara is 66 and very happily married to Cambyses. They are childless, but the Hold is her baby. She is responsible and dutiful, often coming across as stiff and unfunny, but she is typically well-loved by her people. - Samara attends all hatchings at Dalibor Weyr. She has been to every dragon hatching since its inception and the major wher hatchings. |
Journeyman  Atenna Herdercraft | - Atenna is 29, bisexual, and still getting over a longterm, semi-serious relationship. She is happy, perky, and trusts easily, often to her detriment. She's a huge workaholic and sometimes suffers from serious crashes into depression. - Atenna's specialty is beasthealing and she is the Weyr's resident expert on that subject. She is, however, capable of training apprentices in all facets of basic Herdership. She has worked at Dalibor since spring 199. - Atenna has one canine, Verity, a foundling who is very anxious around strangers. She's a small terrier. |
Candidate  Dairine Dragons | - Dairine is 15, asexual, and inclined to invalidism. She is not merely a hypochondriac, she is addicted to believing herself to be ill and obtaining the attention of others. Despite this she is a kind soul, a hard worker, and generally not too bad to be around. - Dairine is a former apprentice Fisher who left the Hall after her parents' death during the plague. She owns black firelizard Princeling. |
Candidate  Kyrene Dragons | - Kyrene is 16, bisexual, and an expert at compartmentalization. She's practically a different person when she's on the job (serious, analytical, impatient) and when she's relaxing (outgoing, friendly, sociable). She's very clever. - Kyrene is a former holdless who despises the Hold/Weyr system and its perceived mistreatment of the less fortunate. She is, however, growing up and losing a bit of her revolutionary passion now. |
