Plotting With Maru: Now a at home game

Well, time to update the plot and character setup. XD Maybe get a bit more organized while I am at that. So all sorts of fun here.

I'm always up for new plots, and am usually able to respond fairly regularly, as I work on a computer most of the day, and have access to internet. This means I don't usually lag too long between replies, and I'm usually quick to reply to PMs as well.

Letorin, a 15 turn old dragon candidate who was training in the Harperhall, and brought to the Weyr last year. He's an artist and always ready to try new things and talk about a variety of topics to people. He's smart, and he wants to know -everything-. He's stood for several hatchings, and tends to hit up every one that happens due to his very insistant pink firelizard.

Weyrling of Copper Jainath

Iola, 18 turn old weryling. She's more cautious about people, and not sure how to fit in. Tends to be armed and avoid conflict because she knows how to use those blades and really doesn't want to. Expects the worst from people, but is trying to learn better. She has just recently bonded with Jainath, and is focused on dealing with all these new lessons, including her unexpected weyrwoman lessons.

Jainath is a bit bossy, and wants to make sure everything is done correctly. She loves children, and will happily play with them when she's not on duty.

Benal is 28 turns old, and a rider who transferred in from Fort. Due to an accident that left damage during her training as a weyrling, the woman has some issues with candidates who were not born in a weyr. She does not advertise it, but she does do her best to 'test' candidates who were not born in a weyr. To other riders, she is a pleasant person, though she does keep an eye on the weyrlings, just to make sure the accident that happened to her will not happen again.

Soicaith is a friendly pink, who is completely sure that her rider is correct in that certain candidates are bad choices. So she's happy to help weed out those who will just cause heartache later. Better to get them away now, before they get themselves and any dragons that might pick them killed.

Dual Candidate
Weyrborn

17 turns old, Orkia is a weyrborn girl who just recently came to Dalibor with her mother and younger brother. Small and light, she's cocky and convinced that she is in the right. She's protective of her brother, and is generally a friendly person, as long as she gets to take the lead on a regular basis. She has no issues trying to put herself in charge, and tiny is one of the first impressions she gives, as much as she hates it.

Makkoi is a 32 turn old man from Southern originally, Makkoi tends to be a bit grumpy at people, though he does genuinely want to help when there is someone in pain. Though he is as happy to point out what they did wrong to end up that way. He has discovered a talent(irritated fact of life) for hearing other whers besides his own, though he does not parade that fact around.

Makkosk is a happy green wher who enjoys poking her snout into places she should not, and flirting with everyone. Easily bored, she's always up for an adventure of some sort, dragging her muttering handler with her when she can.

Well, I have quite a few options. I have C'tan, F'vyr, Naima, Lyna, and Aelynn on the dragon side of things. Aelynn is my candidate, Lyna my weyrling, Naima a blackrider, F'vyr a cyanrider, and C'tan is an ironrider. Feel free to pick any of them for funtimes. I'm up for some plots with any.

OF POSSIBLE RELEVANCE:

I have Jazz, one of the Candidatemasters; she is typically the one to greet new Candidates, get their information, assign a room, etc. Apart from that he'd mostly be interacting with Yuri, since he's a boy, but Jazz is available if need be!

Ni'on of cyan Devath is a former Harper apprentice; he's done a bit of sketching in his time, so they could run into each other and do art?

Eventually Valentine will be searched, and then we can maybe have some candidate RP. And if you're interested in any of my other characters, just ask~

Aelynn would be fun to play with, and Letorin can use another candidate to talk to :). We can even use the power of pink firelizards. I know that Sourtai will happily lure another flitt in to help her make Letorin stop studying something.


Given how pretty the Weyr is, I can see Ni'on and Letorin running into each other to sketch out some view or another. And someone to get him settled would be good as well, so I'd be happy to do a thread with either Ni'on or Jazz, whichever you would prefer.

I really want to play S'ven because he is newer and would be keen for him to meet Letorin. His dragon is really pretty she has a shiny hide ^^ I AM NOT BIASED!! S'ven is awkward and also has runners and things! BUT YES!!

For Iola I have many characters but I offer up anyone!! However Fel would be cool because she has also struggled with family but also because she needs friends! Naanell also steals things if you want a little bit of confrontation xD If there are any other characters you want then suggest away!

Letorin loves shiny things. :D He finds them fun to drawn, and would be happy to chatter away at S'ven with a little bit of encouragement.

As for Iola and Fel, sure! They can stumble over social interaction and avoid conversations about their families.

I'm open to both of those, and can start, or you can if you have ideas. Which would you prefer?

Orkia and Nymora actually would probably have a good amount in common. They're both small, charismatic and full of themselves. I think they'd either get along great or be rivals. Nym's a wher candidate.

Aedai when she comes to the Weyr may get along well with Letorin. She's a dancer, but her real talent lies in drawing and painting. Being from the Holdless community means she has very little accessibility to those things, so meeting someone that's a Harper will really get her interest and probably do her good. She'll be a dragon candidate too.

Ku'ki when he's accepted is a senior class weyrling and can be really sarcastic and a piece of work, but he's also very smart and calculative. His blue Ocilovoth is the wise/oracle/leader type and is really empathetic to be a good stabilizer for his rider. Anyway, I think it would be interesting putting Ku'ki and Iola in the same thread and see what happens. :)

Diorell it is, then. XD This shall be interesting, given that Letorin is amazingly cheerful at times. Though usually picking poeple apart at the same time, at least mentally. If you would like to go ahead and start, you can.
