In The Star Stone (September)

The Star Stone is going to be our version of ______s of the Month or featured characters and members. Each member is allowed one vote in each category and whoever gets the most votes in a category wins for that month. Fully completing the form provided below gets you 25 marks (since there are five categories, you'll get 5 marks subtracted for each one don't fill in but you can fill it in later) and the member or player of the character who wins a category receives 50 marks. Here is information on the categories:

• Member of the Month (MotM) - The actual, real member that you believe deserves to be recognized for whatever reason.
  
• Human of the Month (HotM) - The human character that you just like the most, whether they be rider or crafter, male or female.
  
• Dragon of the Month (DotM) - The dragon character that you like the most for something they've done or how they act or whatever.
  
• Wher of the Month (WotM) - Because the whers need love too, this is the category to vote for your favorite one of them.
  
• Pet of the Month (PotM) - This is partially to promote activity with the site's pets but also to recognize those special IC friends of the characters.

Why?

Why?

He takes quite a lot from his Weyrmate and puts up with it, something neither of my own characters could do.

DotM: Kalith
Why?

The biggest, most impressive dragon in the entire weyr as yet. She demands respect.

WotM: Whisk
Why?

Although I haven't seen much, she seems to be a very well-thought-out wher.

PotM: Whisky
Why?

This cat is an attractive, well-played character who, even in the only two posts I have seen so far, has had their personality fairly well represented. If I could I would nominate my own Margras; he's a ton of fun to RP, what with his antics and all.

MotM: Kila
Why? Our lovable Sr. Weyrleader whose character, O`sho, has put up with so much since his arrival at DW. As for Kila, she is fun and very sweet. Never seen her in a bad mood, and is always so kind to every member.

HotM: R`ish
Why? It was hard for me to choose between either R`ish or F`let, as both having to deal with P`nay and his emo-ness. But my reason for choosing the PinkRider is because of his relatively good nature. Whenever he gets down, he still manages to remain calm for the most part. I would love to make a R`ish Fan Club as much as there is a P`nay Fan Club. Gotta love our male Riders who ride female dragons. *winks*

DotM: Annith
Why? Beautiful, sweet, maginficant, and just awsome all around! Everyone just loves Annith and I know that I am jealous of her for sure. I wish I had a female dragon similar to her. She is so much fun. She loves P`nay and stays by his side, no matter the out-come. With help from the others, I think Annith and P`nay closests friends will be able to bring him back to his jolly self.

WotM: Nadysk
Why? The Brown that is RPed by Kila. This Brown may be new to the scene, but he sure knows how to make his entrance: Entering a Run. And from the way the post is set, we may be receiving a new Wherhandler, which will be very good for Dalibor. Whers need love and are just important to Pern life.

PotM: Yulari, again!
Why? Playful, energetic, and always happy! Yulari is a very cheerful Fire Lizard and is as protective of her Mine as much as any Fire Lizard is! She loves to play, which is good for Lira, who considers Yulari her best friend. And it is a good thing Yulari has such a good temperment or else Avalle may not have handled the possible jealousy that Yulari might have had for Callistath.

Why?

KiaMiniMe is one of our top posters and and an integral part to the Weyr. She is always ready with a smile or some kind words and is generally just adorable and a real sweetheart! She will also hide the other members in her tree when they are in trouble of being chained down by the admins, lol.

Why?

Meiusk is a wild Bronze Wher played by Jack for Whisk's run. Whisk is the only official Dalibor Wher that has been played this month, but she won last month and many times in the past. Meiusk is chasing her in her run to relive his glory days, even though they are far past...

MotM: Kia
Why? She's a wonderful, endearing, active, huggable, adoring utterly necessary, central part of the Weyr! I've known her for a long time now and I love the fact that she'd always here when she can be.

HotM: O'sho
Why? The Weyrwoman's personal emotional punching bag, or otherwise known as the weyrmate that she'd never admit to being her weyrmate. Need I say more to why he could use some special attention for being awesome?

DotM: Doppelith
Why? He was a blast to write as a hatchling. Should I not be allowed to vote for dragonets that I made? But, in truth, how Jack uses him makes all the difference. Poor dearie, having to deal with poor F'let putting up with P'nay.

WotM: Nadysk
Why? I have a soft spot for brown whers, what can I say? Anyway, he, with his bonded, look like they're going to be interesting future addition to our wher team, and he certainly is making an entrance.

PotM: Whisky
Why? He has it all wrong, hating dragons but not minding P'nay being around Felicia, but he's got spunk. The fact that he's a feline and has a real, steady personality is something often unique for situations like this.

Why? Kia has to be the most patient bugger I've ever come across. xD;; I know I've made her wait a long time with R'ish--although I blame part of that on him--and she never once got annoyed or impatient with me, and instead simply reminded me every once and a while. She's also an incredibly fun padnah, and I adore her characters. Not to mention, for someone havin' to go off to work at a camp, her ability to continue to roleplay with us is astounding, as I know I'd be distracted to complete oblivion.

HotM: L'oren
Why? Although R'ish hates his guts--and believe me, that's one helluva rare occurance!--you gotta give props to a guy like L'oren. Not only did he pin P'nay down--for a time--he's come back for him--not that P'nay seems to want that. Of course, part of the reason I'm giving a shoutout to him is 'cause...well...there's a good chance he won't survive the P'nay FanClub.

DotM: Yusriyath
Why? -cackle- My god I love this dragon. xDD He's absolutely adorable, and I've never met a three year old who can spurt out as many questions in as little time as he. And while Sjueth doesn't exactly like being questioned by a toddler impersonator, even he can't hate this fantastic purple! I hope to see a lot more of him--T'el: And his rider~ Mm-mm!--soon.
