Cyan Class Grad Plot Thread

This is the plot thread for the Cyan Class Graduation thread. This is primarily for any PLOTTING that people want done.

Cilia would have approached everyone on her team and certainly would have called at least two to five meetings to discuss strategy and other matters. She'd have tried to get to know everyone, and their strengths, perceived areas of weaknesses and even some special talents they may have to bring to the table.

As far as Tussbuul & Tusk personally, I suppose it's worthwhile to note that Tuss has wandered most of the Weyr's insides on his own, and being a miner he has an eye for layouts (i.e. he knows what goes where, and it's hard for him to become lost). His pre-wher training was mostly in oversight, the big picture. So it would be a good idea, both because of this and due to his physical limitations, to place him somewhere where he can keep an eye on everything. The platform and tunnels around the Record Rooms themselves seems like a logical choice: he can mostly stay on the platform and report any suspicious movement in the Bowl, but if needed he and Tusk can also go up to the RR entrance to help the defense there. From the platform he can also send his firelizard almost anywhere he feels like to investigate a lead.

With all that said, Tuss has also been known to make certain mistakes in oversight, and would not be overly enthusiastic about such a position. Certainly willing, though, since it's about time he crawled out of that particular hole. The importance of overlooking everything would have to be impressed upon Tusk, who will otherwise protest mightily at not being on the outer edges of the Weyr and being "sheltered" from real danger.

Physical activity is not something Naitia and Naisk would be very good at, but that would be happy to be involved in strategy. Also, Naisk is one of the smallest whers in the class so he would be happy to sneak around and try to spy. Ninja wher.

The day before the test begins, Cilia and Cilisk will call one last meeting during their breakfast/meal time. From there, she'll go through the speech Lyrnn gave before and refresh everyone on what the goal is, what to look out for, what's going on, the rules, etc. However, that's just what's being said. What's being relayed through Cilisk, however, is a little more detailed considering Cilia's going to be playing it like there are people listening who would pass the information along.

What's being relayed through Cilisk:

Their pride is going take the right side of the Weyr (i.e. East Bowl out to the East and Northeast Outer Weyr) while Vrell and Vresk's side will be taking on the left side (i.e. West Bowl out to the West and Northwest Outer Weyr).

After speaking to everyone, getting their opinions/ideas on what their strengths and weaknesses are and their preferences, they've decided to try splitting the pride into three teams.

Team One

Tussbuul and Tusk are teamed up with Pailu and Pailusk as well as Naanell and Naanesk. These six are guarding the inner right side and bowl of the weyr- since Tuss is a wanderer, Cilia would have consulted him to get a good idea on where the strengths, weaknesses and potential blindspots are leading into the weyr. Pailusk's SEE ALL THE THINGS vision, Naanesk's STRENGTH and Tusk's keen SENSITIVITY to her surroundings make for a good team as far as Cilia's concerned.

Team Two

Ein and Burlesk are teamed up with Dota and Dosk as well as Dita and Disk; they'll be heading out and monitoring the SouthEast to East. (Where they'll meet up with Cilia and Cilisk if all goes well and nothing incredibly insane happens!) While it's a no-brainer that Burlesk is the brawn, Dosk in particular will be given a "special role" that "only she can do" in hopes this will make her more cooperative- considering Cilia's probably seen her competative ways when it comes to Vresk and would be trying to plan around that/how to use that to their advantage. Disk and Dita are there to keep an eye out, and because Disk is gentle until provoked; giving them someone who's sensitive- not to Tusk's extreme, but still really strong- to the intentions/moods of those around her.

((Note: This "special role" is essentially to play the spy and retainer to Burlesk's assassin/warrior; point the enemy out and help Burlesk secure/take out the target.))

Team Three

Tessla and Tessk form the final trio with Cilia and Cilisk, they'll be heading up immediately to the East for the 'first pass' and gradually hit the North Outer Weyr before doing a potential meet up with whoever's monitoring that side and an aboutface to head back along the North and then to the East back down towards the entrance to the bowl itself.

What do we do when/if discovery of the renegade/assassin is made?

Communication by wher is clearly the first step; have your wher contact the others and pass the message of the location they're at and in what direction the threat is coming from/where they came from. Send it to Cilia and Cilisk, your partner)s in patrol and then to the rest of the squad that you can if possible. Once word is gotten, Cilia puts emphasis on making sure Vrell's pride knows too.

When the signal/alert comes in that the intruders/assassins/signs of them have been spotted, everyone in Cilia's pride is to make an immediate retreat as quickly as possible back to the inner bowl of the Weyr to begin Phase Two- which is setting themselves up inside the tunnels themselves and laying an ambush in place to catch the intruders in the bowl itself.

Once Phase Two begins, the two prides will be working closer together, teaming up and communicating to ensure a safe, secure weyr from the inside and out. Groups of two or three may become squads of four as patrols step up and the intruders/assassins are scented out, spotted or generally hunted down.

What happens if my partner is taken out?

If your partner is taken out/'assassinated' and goes missing, immediately alert your nearest ally, the prideseconds and your prideleader. After that, meet up with the patrol closest to you as quickly, but as stealthily as possible so as not to get "hit" yourself.

Dosk is pleased with her special-ness. We'll see how well she does, but when Dota explained to her what their job was the cyan was thrilled. BEING A SPY IS MUCH MORE AWESOME THAN A STUPID ORANGE PRIDELEADER. Take that, Vresk.

Tesla and Tessk will be quite happy to patrol with Cilia and Cilisk... much happier since they do not have to be around Burlesk. SQUADSECOND REPORTING FOR DUTY.
