There is a word for women like you, Savrent. B-
Enough of your venom, Shiobth. We're here.
Hanging in the sky above Delibor Weyr hovered a red dragon the shade of glittering garnet. Her faceted eyes whirled hotly; flicking embers of orange and crimson. She moved into a spiral, checking her ruby and garnet wings as she descended. She gave the Watch dragon a long, side ways look as she moved down to the bowl.
Announce yourself, Shiobth and try not to bite the poor Watcher's head off Savrent told her dragon hotly.
Shiobth hissed angrily as she turned her head back to look at the Watch dragon.
You! Yes, you with the sharding, crooked muzzle! I am Red Shiobth. I came as a transfer from Benden. Pass that on to your Senior. NOW! Shiobth snarled to the Watch dragon.
Not restraining ourselves today, are we? Savrent said, a sour note in her tone.
I do what I please. Shiobth hissed, settling down in the bowl with a puff of dust. Her dark red wings flared upwards as she arranged them to fold. She wasn't happy about being sent her and having to give up her two favorite males. Brown Fuvnirth and Purple Opifaleth. Now she was here, under the dominion of a new queen and a copper at that. Not that follow that gold back at Benden had been a basket of roses. Shiobth huffed, annoyed. She wanted a ledge, a juicy buck and some time to check out the Dalibor males. Especially the browns. She did not want to be saddled down with mewling, stinking weyrbrats.
Candidates, love. Candidates and we will be working with them. You will conform to some semblance of order.
You can take your order, Savrent and put it up your narrow ass. Shiobth replied, acid leaking from her voice.

Avalle was kind of nervous. This was the first time she'd had to go meet an important transfer (the new Candidate Master) to the Weyr without shadowing Fajra and Kalith. Naturally, Callistath was fine with it and not nearly as nervous as Hers, so she had to be the voice of reason in Avalle's thoughts, telling her not to worry so much about it. She was just going out to greet the new Candidate Master and direct her to her personal weyr.
The other thing Avalle was nervous about was the Watchdragon's grumbling about how rude the Red was (though, he tended to think a lot of the transfers were rude...) I will not allow her to be rude to us, was callistath's comment, but Avalle really figured it was normal for a Red to have a temper. It was pretty much expected. It's okay Callistath, we don't want to make a bad first impression, she told the dragon, and the two set off for the Weyrbowl. Callistath glided with grace and poise, calmly flying to where the Red dragon sat in the Weyrbowl. "Welcome to Dalibor! I'm Avalle of Gold Callistath, Junior Weyrwoman," she greeted with a smile when she was close enough to the Red and her rider. She was in the late stages of Weyrlinghood, so she wasn't really a true Jr. Weyrwoman yet, but it would get her off to a bad start if she were to introduce herself as the Junior Weyrwoman in Training. "You two are Shiobth and Savrent, the new Candidate Master, correct?" she continued, praying that she had the right people. It would be just her luck that they were getting two Red transfers today and she just so happened to guess the wrong one. But Fajra would have told her that... hopefully. Greetings Shiobth, I welcome you and Yours to Dalibor, Callistath added her own, lady-like greeting to Shiobth, feeling a lot less nervous than Hers was. But Hers was doing okay and it wasn't like she was freaking out or anything like that. Weyrwomen greeted transfers all the time and she was going to have to get used to it, and even if the Red were to lash out they were not to allow themselves to get riled up. Avalle got quite defensive at times.[/blockquote]

Savrent gave the young woman a smile but her mind was clamped firmly over that of her red sub-queens. Shiobth made a slight sound of surprise; rarely did Savrent press her will so sharply and suddenly against her own. It caught the Red off guard and she paused to listen to what Savrent was saying.
You will be respectfully to Callistath and all the other Queens you come across. You are sub-queen, not a full one. I love you but you will be respectful! You will, Shiobth! Savrent told her dragon, a threat hanging in her voice.
Shiobth turned to look at the younger gold, her faceted eyes whirling from orange flecked red to light orange flecked yellow. Shiobth was slightly alarmed, if only because her rider usually had to be provoked to use her firmest tone with her.
Thank you, Queen Callistath. Shiobth said slowly, her usual venom replaced with a grudging submission to both her rider's control and the rank of the gold before her.
"Good day, junior weyrwoman. I am Savrent and this is my lovely Shiobth. We are pleased to be at Dalibor Weyr. Can you assist use in settling in? My dragon is tired and her patience is wearing thin."
Savrent might as well have said that Shiobth was a hair's width from biting someone but she had no desire to alarm the gold or her rider. Savrant moved to dismount and Shiobth raised her arm to let her dismount. Savrent removed her helmet and let her coal black fall around her shoulders. Her eyes blinked, their color a cool, pale gray. She approached Avalle and extended her hand to the junior weyrwoman.
"Shiobth is upset by the move. She left behind her two favorite consorts." Savrent said.
How dare you, Savrent. I am not missing those bottom heavy idiots!
Not even Fuvnirth? Didn't he catch you three times in total over all your clutching time at Benden Weyr?
Only because I let him. the Red dragon huffed indignantly.

It felt like forever to Avalle before she felt Callistath's approval. Apparently, whatever the Red's response had been, it had pleased the young Gold. There weren't a lot of Reds at Dalibor, and there hadn't been any at all in Kalith's clutch, so Avalle had been a little nervous. Reds were known for being rude... but it seems that his one at least knew how to hold her tongue. But that was only the impression Avalle got from Callistath, seeing as she couldn't actually hear the short conversation between the two dragons.
Avalle returned Savrent's handshake, and nodded in response to her earlier question. "Of course, that's why I came down here. Your room is all set up and ready for you, so don't worry about that. It isn't too far from here," she said calmly, her heartbeat slowly ebbing back to normal rather than the fast-paced nervous one it had been before. She felt oddly professional, and also felt kind of proud of herself for not being shy or something. Not that she was shy in the first place... but sometimes meeting new people was a little difficult.
The brunette gave a small smile at the reason for the Red's grumpiness. I didn't think they needed a reason, Callistath commented airily, no malice meant in her statement, it was just a statement. Avalle found it kind of funny, even if it was a little mean, but she didn't respond. She couldn't space out now, she had to make a good first impression! "Aww, well, maybe she'll be able to go visit?" Avalle said with a small laugh, looking at the Red. She couldn't relate or anything (though maybe she could, considering the state of Valleth and Detriath... but she never really had them in the first place) so she wasn't going to lie and say so. "Well, come on, you both want to see your new home, right?" she said and mounted Callistath, who waited for the Redrider to follow before taking off towards the personal Weyrs. ooc: We might as well keep it to one thread, moving to the personal weyrs for such a short thread just seems kind of silly. xD;;[/blockquote]

ooc: Just as a note, Savrent and Shiobth arrive at Dalinor two days after the Renegade Hatching.
I hope you are happy. Inhibiting me like this. Shiobth said hotly to her rider as Savrent moved to remount her dragon. Easily, the red rider climbed into the saddle, taking up the straps. Shiobth pushed off, flaring her garnet and ruby red wings as she took back to the air. She noted to ducked head of the Watch dragon with grim amusement.
Inhibiting you, indeed. You will have plenty of opportunity to tyrannically abuse others when we are all settled in.
Tyrannical abuse? It is not abuse. Dragons thrive on oppositions.
Red dragons anyways. was Savrent's rye comment. She smirked as Shiobth grumbled her typical, annoyed way.
I'm not some prissy pink or empty headed yellow she told her rider with a sulky growl.
No, indeed not. Though sometimes I crave a white's calm.
You lie!Shiobth objected, sounding both angry and hurt at the same time. Savrent laughed and send one thousands wordless apologies to her sub-queen and Shiobth let her rough edged love flow back through their bond. There was so much fierce protection and raw, emotional adoration in their bond. Most of it didn't even had to be spoken; they just knew.
No white or any other color could replace my beautiful Shiobth. Ask Callistath were we should land.
Is there any particular place I can land? Shiobth asked the gold.
