Candidatemaster Yuri of Green Yusk[/b]

Yuri is the newest addition to Dalibor's Candidatemaster club and works hard alongside Jasmine of Yellow Weslieth and Nimara of Red Waroth to ensure the safety and well-being of Dalibor's Dragon and Wher Candidates! He is sensitive, soft-spoken and protective over all of his candidates regardless of age or gender, viewing them like extensions of his own family. While it's not widely known, Yuri is also a talented Farmcrafter, having reached Journeyman status shortly after Wherling graduation back in the day and continues puttering about his craft during his rare free moments.

Yuri's partner is Yusk, a green wher who is as remarkably sweet and mild-mannered as her bonded. Though her people-loving personality and love for snuggles, pets and other affectionate attention marks her as somewhat unusual for her species, she is more than capable of doing her job when she needs to and will leap in to defend her "babies" when the situation calls for it.

Wingsecond Durian of Brown Mesreath[/b]

Durian is a recently reestablished Wingsecond with a long, colorful history at Dalibor Weyr. Impressing at Copper Kalith's first hatching to Brown Mesreath, she made history as Dalibor's very first female brownrider and has only relished her amusing hobby of scandalizing the traditionalists of varying Weyrs and Holds alike throughout the turns. She is hard-working, cunning and remarkably tough skinned; everything she feels she needs to be in order to survive and keep the place she calls "home" safe and sound. Though she gives off an impression of being a perfectionist during drills, Durian has a remarkably wicked sense of humor that tends to show itself in her love of disguises and playing out the roles she's assigned said disguises amongst the weyrfolk in Dalibor. She also has a particularly wonderful singing voice, having inherited her deceased parents' talent- though very rarely does she ever sing where anyone can hear her.

Durian's bonded is Mesreath, a brown dragon who's ill temper and jealous, possessive nature would be better fitted to a red. To him, Durian is the beginning, middle and end to his existence, and anyone who threatens or otherwise harms her will likely be killed or seriously injured on the spot. Though Mesreath is more tolerant than he used to be as a young dragon, his list of "approved of" people is still exasperatingly short and he still growls at essentially everyone as a result.

Wingsecond H'lios of Blue Nelideth[/b]

H'lios is still a fairly new face around Dalibor, having transferred in a mere two turns ago from Eastern Weyr and already managed to reclaim his position as Wingsecond within a matter of seasons. He is remarkably reclusive, perfectionistic and unforgiving to those who don't know him very well- and even to those who do get to know the man. However, H'lios holds himself to the very same standards as he holds the men and women of his wing, leaving those who have gotten to know even a little of his history to see that he works himself to the bone in order to prevent a repeat of a tragedy that led to his transfer in the first place. Though he is still in mourning, recent events have led those who have gotten to know him to believe the man is finally starting to let go of his past in order to embrace the possibilities the future may hold.

H'lios' bonded is Nelideth, a blue dragon who is particularly known for his delusions of grandeur. Believing himself to be a King born into the wrong body, Nelideth has absolutely no problem with sucking up to those he believes he is equal in rank to and rubbing shoulders with Kings, Queens and the rest of those he feels are worthy of his flattery, praise and respect. While vain, stubborn and prone to almost violently butting heads with his rider, there simply is no one more protective over H'lios than Nelideth- and he lets anyone he even believes is half a threat towards his rider know that he will end them in a snap. He is the true source behind many of H'lios' gray hair, though these days, that blame is placed equally on Nelideth and Z'an alike.

Wingrider Aylina of Tan Wenth[/b]

Aylina's been around for a little while, having arrived just after the deadly, tragic Kitchen Fire that killed and injured many in Dalibor. Friendly, easy-going and rather accepting, Aylina's an open book to read and has difficulty lying to other people. She prefers to stay busy as often as possible, leading her to wonder if she's got something of a workaholic streak in her and is often found doing something to keep herself physically active until it's time to fall into her bed. An honest soul, Aylina cheerfully admits she's not the sharpest knife in the drawer but insists her stubbornness and willingness to go the extra distance make her worth the trouble she'd inevitably cause somewhere down the line.

Aylina's bonded is Wenth, one of Dalibor's not necessarily prized but still much loved and respected tans. She's incredibly daft, as per the norm for her color, but is incredibly curious, friendly and lovable to make up for this fact. While lacking in intelligence, she has the remarkable ability to randomly remember odd events from the past with only a little prompting from her rider at times. Wenth has an almost unmatched love for clouds, the only thing she loves more than clouds is Aylina, whom she has nicknamed "AylinaPretty", or even just calls her "Pretty" for short. While not necessarily unheard of, she is particularly fond of talking to people other than her rider and has proven herself to be almost unusually good at Searching- though she often forgets why she's in a certain place until Aylina reminds her. As of Late Autumn, Wenth has had her Maiden Flight and is the proud new mother of nine beautiful, and colorful, eggs.

Wingrider Rhikail of Green Tulath[/b]

Peculiar, incredibly withdrawn and formal in speech and mannerisms, Rhikail is quite the odd fish in a pond full of supposedly odd fish. She tends to stick to herself and avoids long conversations and interactions with others, including those within her own wing. Her one true human friend is Ondine, though with the Healer's newly won fame, she has been seen more and more in the public eye, as she tends to shadow her classmate during her free time. Though appearing rather waif-ish and fragile, she has an incredibly strong will to live even with the worst of injuries, having survived massive trauma that burned a large percentage of her body badly enough to scar in the Kitchen Fires when she'd first been Searched and a Threadscore that should have, by all means, sent her Between permanently due to the severity and damage done to her body.

Tulath is Rhikail's bonded, a green dragon who is the active day to Rhikail's quiet night personality. A chatterbox with incredibly bossy tendencies, there is little one can do to stop the green once she's on a roll. Rhikail has learned to tune her out, though with great difficulty, and doesn't exactly help others learn to do the same when her dragon decides she has something to say to them. Though coming across as a know-it-all and a bully, Tulath deeply cares about Rhikail and worries about her often, though her efforts at making the girl interact with others backfires more often than they succeed. Tulath still harbors a good deal of guilt, reminded of her failure to keep her rider safe each time she sees the scars that mar her bonded's body from Thread. Despite her penchant for talking all the time, Tulath is remarkably close mouthed when it comes to discussing the events that happened the day Rhikail was Threadscored, as Dilath and Ondine asked her to keep it a secret, worried that it would have a detrimental effect on the greenrider.

Wingrider B'zar of Pink Babyth[/b]

Mischievous, honest and friendly, B'zar is a social man with a good deal of energy behind him. A peace-loving man who prefers diplomacy to settling things with a physical duel, his easy-going nature is often a shield for his incredibly cunning and manipulative personality to hide behind. He prefers being underestimated, often playing the role of a fool while taking in the information those who let their guards down around him to use for later on, if it's to his advantage. Despite this side to him, over all, B'zar is a man who wants nothing more to have a lot of fun, talk to a lot of people and befriend everyone he can- something that made him rather perfect for his eventual bonded. Loyal to a fault and stubborn in his refusal to abandon a friend, B'zar loves to play tricks even on said friends and has a history of getting himself into trouble all in the name of making someone smile or laugh. He's transferred in from Fort Weyr, having left the notoriously strict place behind for reasons he's remained tight lipped about- though he's more than willing to tell the tale of how he left...

B'zar's bonded is Babyth, an aptly named pink dragon who is the sun, moon and stars of her rider's life. There simply is no dragon more perfect and adorable than Babyth, if you ask B'zar, and she is more than happy to claim the title of 'most adorable' for herself. Childlike, innocent and sweeter than the sweetest bubbly-pies ever made, Babyth is a die-hard romantic who believes in the good and light in the world, putting herself forward as an example of said goodness and light off. Though childish, she is remarkably maternal in her own way, enjoying her role as "mommy" to anyone or anything she collects she sees that needs mothering- be it animal, reptile, dragonet, wheret or person. She positively can't sleep without B'zar telling her a goodnight story- ones where brave dragons rescue distressed princesses, whatever those were, from dangerous situations and deliver them to their handsome princes so they can live happily ever after as a mommy and daddy are her very favorites.

Weyrling Kae'n of Green Toonooth[/b]

Kae'n is, in a word, a slacker. He would much rather avoid hard work if at all possible, though he'll groan and do it anyways when he's inevitably busted for it. Laid-back, musically gifted yet incredibly lazy and unmotivated, there is little Kae'n would prefer in life than to end up the husband of a noble holder lady and serenade her with songs all day while someone else did all the work. Unfortunately for him, he Impressed and so he has to work his butt off instead. An unrepentant flirt and self-described playboy, Kae'n has a long way to go before he can measure up to his bluerider brother's potential, though his rivalry with said brother is still lying dormant and ready to be exploited should someone learn of it. He is notoriously fond of hats, wearing them at essentially all times and tends to collect them.

Toonooth is Kae'n's bonded, a particularly independant green who does as she pleases, thank you very much, she has the personality of a spoiled, pampered feline and has rather the look of one at that. She's more fond of making other people do the things that need to be done, and her penchant for spotting details others might miss imply that she would probably make a very good searchrider- if she weren't so stuck up and standoffish to everyone, including her own rider. While to the naked eye, it seems as if Toonooth regards Kae'n as a simple servant to do her bidding, someone who's only around so that she may remain around, she truly does care for her rider and wishes he would be less laid back and take more of a stand as she wants him to.

Weyrling Th'or of Pink Kallyeith

Boisterous, loud and powerful in more than build, there aren't many people who can miss Th'or at first sight- or sound, for that matter. A true giant of a man with the brawn to match, Th'or is quite simply hard to miss- or lose, for that matter. Devoted to making the future he foresees for himself and his younger brother, M'iles, come true, Th'or is reckless at times in his manner of speech and actions, though his intentions are usually good despite how things end up. He is a cheerful man who honors tradition, yet embraces new ways of thinking at the same time. There is little Th'or loves more than celebrating accomplishments and meeting new friends over drinks, flirting- or in "battle". Life is meant to be enjoyed and lived to its fullest, after all!

To match Th'or's exuberance and enthusiasm for life is his bonded, the tiny pink Kallyeith. Contrast to her powerful, large in stature and muscular rider, Kally is incredibly small for a pink and makes up for it by having a warrior's heart to match that of Th'or's own. She despises "dark" emotions, seeing them as the evils of the world that must be vanquished and eliminated in the name of all that is "good" and "just" in the world. This may be because she is incredibly sensitive and empathetic even for her color, and thus is easily affected and overwhelmed by negativity as a result.

Weyrling Willow of Blue Niddath[/b]

Timid, sweet and worryingly self-conscious, Willow has yet to find her own sense of worth in the world and constantly questions whether or not she's doing things right. She's very shy, though she desperately wants someone to validate her and tell her that she's okay, and that she's doing things right. While interacting with other people one on one or in a group makes her incredibly nervous and prone to stammering or mumbling, Willow has a barely tapped well of inner strength that makes her greet the day with a new determination and goal to keep trying until she succeeds at whatever it is she feels she has failed at. Though others find their Weyrlingmaster's ways worrying, her first impression of F'reki, to say nothing of the hero that Girieth is in her eyes, tends to color her view of them, and she is, as a result, incredibly gullible and unaware of the man's "twisted" sense of humor.

Willow's dashingly handsome bonded is Niddath, a blue dragon who believes himself to be a hero in all regards- especially where she's concerned. Which is why he also tends to be incredibly self-conscious and in almost constant need of reassurance from Willow, in his own way, to make sure he's doing everything correctly. In a somewhat unusual quirk, Niddath takes to stealing things that don't belong to him in an attempt to impress Willow, as well as create some interestingly awkward situations for her to have to bail him out of. Whether this is done because he believes she is in need of that item or because he's trying to push her into discovering her own inner strength is entirely up in the air. He sees other dragons, especially other blue dragons, as rivals for Willow's approval and often finds himself worrying that she prefers them over him.

Weyrling J'dyn of Iron Imperiuth

J'dyn has no freaking idea what he's doing because this was his first hatching experience ever. That he not only Impressed, but to the largest King color is something that hasn't entirely sunk in yet, so he's walking around like someone dropped a bag of firestone on his head. He's a deep sea diver and fisherman from Southern, and can usually be found haunting the lake, seas or somewhere keeping himself in prime form in all seasons so he doesn't lose his touch. Be careful if you're a girl he considers pretty, he's liable to walk into things, walk off of things, or otherwise make a grand idiot out of himself because he's a hopeless mess- just ask Imperiuth.

Imperiuth finds this hot mess Dalibor has become utterly disgraceful and intends to make sure everything becomes neat, orderly and well functioning.... after he manages to fix the unholy wreck that is his rider. He is a gruff, grumpy dragon, an old man in a dragonet's body, but he has a good heart underneath and does genuinely care.

Weyrling Kairhi of Cyan[/b] Atenath

Kairhi is the identical twin sister to Weyrling Mairhi; they are damn near indistinguishable from one another even with their dragons- a fact that will drive their poor Weyrlingmaster nuts in due time. Only Rhikail, Ondine and Rhiannon are able to tell them apart once their respective injuries fade away and the two are back to their old tricks again. Headstrong, energetic and full of fire and life, Kairhi loves competition and has declared herself as Ondine's apprentice-rival, vowing to some day snatch away the title of Hero of Pern from the pinkrider.

Cyan Atenath is Judging You always and forever, that's it, that's all there is and you need to LEAVE before she decides an appropriate punishment. Not really, but that's exactly how she comes across; she is cold and impartial- or would rather be, anyway, she idealizes true neutrality and tries her best to be such. Her temper gets the best of her, however, and she is fairly gullible and easily led astray as a result.

Pridesecond Cilia of Bronze Cilisk[/b]

Outgoing, energetic and flirtatious, Cilia thinks rather highly of herself and there are very, very few people who can actually bring her down from her self-elevated sense of awesomeness as far as she's concerned. With her playful personality and tendency to tease without caring about how well she knows a person, it's easy to get the impression that Cilia cares nothing about how people view her- and it's almost true too. While she likes to be seeing as an easygoing person, she can almost miraculously do an entire one-eighty degree turn fo her personality and go from light-hearted with some snark to business-like and single-minded in her intentions to get a task done and done well. She blames Lyrnn, her former Wherlingmaster, and Cilisk for their terrible influence on her otherwise "perfectly decent" personality. Though light-hearted, Cilia has an almost surprising knack for taking responsibility and putting herself in a leadership role- and has proven that she has a degree of talent in said lead role.

Cilia's bonded is an absolutely massive beast of a bronze wher named Cilisk. This wher knows he's a king, and though not prone to the histrionics and ego-tripping the way most bronzes tend to be prone to, he does demand that others give him the respect he knows he deserves through his efforts and attempts to be everything a wher such as himself should be. While incredibly serious and magnificently patient even for a wher, Cilisk has proven to have his very odd sense of humor when it strikes him as appropriate- usually at Cilia's expense. He's ambitious, hard-working and driven to snag his place as Leader, and is more than determined to mold Cilia into his own idea of a "perfect" Leader right along with him.

Priderunner Impa of Black Impask[/b]

Impa is a bit of an enigma to her fellows. Though proving herself responsible, strong-willed and with a firm hand on the mental leash that bonds a wher and its handler, she's also proven herself to have an almost humorously incredible streak of bad luck when it comes to pursuing an actual profession of some sort. Her tales of why one apprenticeship didn't work out to the next are often comical and she smiles good naturedly and even laughs about it in a self-depricating manner. Contrary to the way she carries herself and presents herself, Impa has proven time and time again to be quite the prankster and has many an idea on how to 'get back' at someone who might have wronged her in some way. Though she doesn't talk about it, she was once married to a dragonrider and terminated it for reasons she doesn't disclose.

Impa's bonded is a black wher named Impask. Big for his size as he is, bulky and with a face that could likely terrify some of the toughest men in the middle of the night when he "smiles" at them, Impask is eternally a little boy stuck in a wher's body. Mischevious, immature and forever looking for his next big prank, he almost never takes anything he's doing seriously and believes he is Pern's greatest trickster ever and loves to pretend he's someone's shadow while stalking them down dark cooridors. While this exasperates Impa and results in him getting in all kinds of trouble, the smile and laughter he can bring out of those around him make it too worth it for him to consider changing his ways.

Wherling Raxeris of Blue Raxerisk[/b]

Hyper-critical, analytical and perfectionistic, Raxeris' entire life has been modeled around pleasing others in positions of power, ensuring plans are executed flawlessly and without trouble, and making sure that the people he loves so dearly are safe. Though he is rather difficult to deal with, Raxeris is actually a warm hearted person with the kind of loyalty one would only hope to encounter in a friend or family member. He is almost worryingly self-sacrificing, however, and tends to rely a little too much on how people see or think of him to be healthy. As a result, Raxeris has kept his own potential squished down considerably, preferring to push others into the limelight instead of taking his time in it himself. Dalibor has been an interesting experience for Raxeris, and his recent Impression to his wher has only magnified the difficult sides of his personality as he tries to figure out how to deal with a creature who has taken residence within his very mind and soul.

Raxerisk is Raxeris' remarkably intelligent, helpful and cheerful enigma of a bonded. A blue wher, he is particularly fond of causing Raxeris an amazing amount of frustration with his habit of being intentionally vague and mysterious about matters he's talking about. Though he is intentionally being vague, he always seems to know exactly what he's talking about, and even things that are about to happen are talked about with a certainty that makes one wonder if this wher is just a bit gifted in a way that others aren't. Whether or not this is because he has the uncanny ability to plan things farther ahead than other wher could even concieve of is entirely unknown, he doesn't tend to answer that question when asked. Well aware of Raxeris' habits already, Raxerisk enjoys nothing more than going on adventures and pushing his bonded to the very limits of his self-imposed boundaries to make him grow as a person.

Kireeeeon I have a sort of ridiculous idea to run by you? Tldr; a short and sweet little cloud-watching thread with Lenticuth and Wenth?

Basically, T’yer’s been all wigged out about losing his family blahbah overdramaness because he never actually dealt with all that grief and nonsense and obviously some of its spilling over into Lenticuth, who is probably gonna ask him questions about why he’s thinking about those people all the time. That’s all gonna get dealt with and be shiny and fine and all but in the MEANTIME I feel like the two of them would have a discussion about family that would leave T’yer prodding Lenticuth to go at least try and go talk to his mother, just because, and I know (and they would probably know I’m guessing?) that she might not remember he’s hers, but I have this silly little picture in my head of him coming to talk to Wenth and not knowing what to say because dragons don’t really do family chats (particularly with family members who may not know they they are family which breaks my heart for a whole other slew of reasons THANKS FOR THAT) and T’yer just telling him to mention how that cloud looks like a moldy tuber, what does she think? Or something.

I was listening to a song and I really liked it and it made me think of T’yer/Lenticuth and it turned out to be called ‘Sea of Clouds’ and so blame that.

Also Lenticuth wouldn't ACTUALLY say anything looks like a moldy tuber because that's really not cool. But not the point.
