I have snaked the wild wher hatching plot token from Kestrel for use in WILD AND AWESOME PLOT!
As discussed here and as will be discussed at greater length SHORTLY, we are seeking holdless characters to use for an upcoming plot. I am at this very moment seeking holdless characters to use for NEARLY INSTANT PLOT. Here's how it's going to work:
You make your holdless character, as usual. Characters who do not Impress at the wild wher hatching will go on being holdless until plot occurs and can then be portrayed as dragon/wher/dual candidates as desired. Or killed off. Or continue to be holdless. Whatever you want to do with them!
Then, a wild wher hatching will be posted. Plotwise, a group of holdless will be hunting and come across some wher eggs about to hatch. Two of these lucky holdless will Impress, and a Dalibor patrol will soon find them and decide to take them back. Why do they agree to go train at Dalibor? Well, that's up to the character - maybe they're secretly trying to get out of the holdless lifestyle and this is their ticket, maybe they're hoping to be sleeper agents, maybe they just don't know what the heck they're doing and figure an actual education couldn't hurt. Either way, they end up wherlings at Dalibor.
Holdless candidates for this hatching MUST BE ACCEPTABLE TO AUDREN. No marked criminals, no overt psychopaths. The holdless wherlings are more than welcome to lie about their past ("we are poor lost cotholders"), and in fact that might be for the best, all things considered, but if you have any doubt that they would be welcome at Dalibor, run it by Reky first.
The wild wher hatching will start on Friday, May 10 and run through the weekend. If you will be unable to participate on those days, you may still create a candidate, write a tag-in, forward it to someone else to post for you, and have a chance at Impression. If this is the case, I can provide information on the setup of the hatching so you have something to respond to. If you wish to participate and have no character slot, you may declare your interest and we will find a way to get one to you.
Information on the backstory of this particular group of holdless can be found here, in my work-in-progress app for Kyrene (the history, at least, is complete). I will happily take questions here, on AIM, in the cbox, via PM, etc etc. Later tonight more info will be posted for those who want to participate in holdless drama but don't necessarily want to try for a wher in this plot.
