Hey, Dalibor!
We understand there's been some commotion (which has been resolved) regarding cbox moderator powers. The people who have these controls are people that the mod team trusts, and they will not abuse them. We value our members and take triggers very seriously, and the forum mods can't be online all the time. We all have lives and jobs. As a result, some other members have the ability to remove cbox posts that go against the rules of the cbox.
We also know that this is a new development. The old cbox expired and we had no access to the cbox account to renew the autorefresh, so we got a new one. Some of the permissions have, as a result, changed, but only recently.
We're sorry for the confusion; from now on we will have a list of "cbox moderators" that you can go to if a forum mod is not online.
Along with the forum moderators (Cath, Kila, Nia, and myself), our cbox moderators are:
Azhdarchid Boo (permissions pending) Chek (permissions pending)
That should cover most of the hours of the day, so if ever you have any issues, you may contact any of them. (Boo, Chek, and I will be receiving permissions ASAP - for whatever reason, I didn't get them when we got the new cbox.)
Any deleted cbox posts, from now on, will be logged and sent to the forum moderators. Any reasons for banning an IP address will also be logged and passed along. That way, if confusion ever arises again, the whole mod and admin team has access to the logs and can help you more effectively.
Please remember that the rules include a ban on topics that are potentially triggering or highly personal. It is posted beside the cbox. Sometimes, another member's triggers are going to be valued over your personal venting. We know this sucks, but ultimately, as a team, we have decided that removing a few posts to make another member feel safer is a good deal. We're here to have a good time, and that's hard if a member is triggered by something. Triggers are serious business, and there's no real way to tell what might trigger someone else, so don't feel bad or upset if you didn't know. We all have the parts of our personal lives that stay personal.
So! Very sorry for any upset caused earlier this day! Know that it wasn't anyone's intention; we were just looking out for the mental wellbeing of our players. If you have any concerns, feel free to PM any of the forum mods or admins! We'd prefer to speak to you directly, rather than having to wade through other members' comments to get to you. Thanks! :)
