Hello dear Dalibor! I have a lull in my number of threads at the moment and would very much like to get a few new things going. As some of you know, I work a big girl job and am online primarily through my phone now. I don’t have oodles of free time to reply so unfortunately I can’t thread with everyone at the same time =( Being an adult sucks,

So, what I’m looking for are plot ideas; not just “let’s throw these two together and see what happens.” Friends? Enemies? Love interests? Complicated and awkward? If you can think of something long term that could develop between one of yours and mine then I’d love to hear it. The descriptions below are something quick that I typed up at work today. (Not works of art, but how I see all my people currnetly, so they will do). If one of them interests you then feel free to look at his or her complete profile for more info.


O'sho is old of body but young of mind and heart
Mischievous/ has a good sense of humor
A father and a father figure
Patient
Compassionate
A good teacher and a good leader
Weathered and tired from leading Dalibor and from personal loss
Strong, rarely shows his grief or fatigue

Skilled a keeping people calm and keeping things from seeming hopeless

Jasra is perfectly happy on her own
A tinkerer/ major geek
Loves to take things apart and put them back together
More street smart then book smart- draws from real life experience

Very uncomfortable talking or hearing about people's emotions
Dislikes gossip, drama, and many other girly things
Tends to form friendships with men and relationships with women because she has never felt needed by a man

Does not see many people as being on his same level
Often caught up in his head

Nadya does not like people

Hit a low point when he had her child- still recovering her self

A little messed up from his attempted abortion, but to what extent is questionable
Farnath's vocal cords- screams if upset or separated from Nadya or Nadysk
Unnaturally attached to his mother
Likes to wander around the Lower Caverns on his own
Best friends with Bug, kept safe by Shardit

I have thought of a framework for an Aydan/Q'sis thread, provided Aydan spends any time at all in the creche (of his own volition or not). I can post it for you tomorrow if you like.

RL kind of ate us when it came to that Cleo/Nadya thread we had planned, so maybe Cleo's officially away for her mastery? She would have said goodbye to Nadya and Aydan and been very sentimental about it.

Also, if D'lios is ever around Dalibor, his once-scribe is anxiously awaiting his Lord and can't seem to properly devote himself to dragons when he's not writing D'lios' letters. Carlis should probably get that checked out but won't; he'd be very glad to see his Lord again.

I too work a big girl job with quirky hours, we should totally thread Durian and O'sho together so she can fill him in on the wing's conditions and any other duties she's appointed herself lord and master over that'd help relieve O'sho of some stress.

Azzy, I'd love to begin the discovery and start developing some sort of relationship for them. Aydan is never in the crèche though :/

Reky, sad stuff about our girls. We should still keep up with them though. Let me know when you want to have Cleo come visit!
As for D'lios, I'm sure he could make a few minutes for his loyal servant ;)

Kireon, I love Durian- I'm down! I think she and Sol should also get together since they have that old weyrling tie. Are you still down for having Cilia and Nadya go hunting with their Whers by the way?

My new wherhandler Kerke and Nadya should have a thread where he tries to hit on her and gets slapped down, right? Kerke's wher Kersk is blue, smart and snarky, he and Nadysk could provide commentary.

I also think Tr'ayne should meet Ksenna. Shenanigans ahoy and maybe an unlikely friendship?

Aypoth loves loves loves kids, so Nora and Aypoth could form some sort of friendship with Aydan? Aypoth would try to teach him ALL THE THINGS. Then Nora could end up meeting Nadya through that, which will allow for some interesting things plot-wise.

Sh'len and Lirmox would be an interesting match as Sh'len would remind Lirmox of his shy younger brother Lionam who Lirmox treated as a sidekick. I also think Y'nis and Lirmox might relate to each other because of their pasts.

And speaking of people reminding people of their siblings Dardranel may experience feels if she meets Jasra.

These are all ideas/suggestions so if you feel a different combination might work then I am totally fine with that

All three threads sound fabulous to me! Durian-O'sho, Durian-Sol and Nadya-Cilia sound good to me!

I would loooove to have a Carlis/D'lios thread. Carlis' obsession is really the only thing I have muse for so. @u@ He'd have written D'lios letters on several occasions, mostly just formal and informative, but probably squeaking close to personal at times. I figure I could start a thread with a few of those letters, and then just Carlis going about his day, when he gets a visit (and subsequently pees his pants).

*Asterisks denote pairs that I am more interested in or would
like to do first. I like to do one thread at a time, but after we finish
one we can move right on to the next!

Rappu- Kerke will have his man parts handed back to him on a
silver platter, lol. He and Nadya should definitely have an ill-fated
run in. If he had met her before she had a baby she would have been in
his pants, but now all he's going to get it abuse. Sucks for him, fun
for us!

*Would love to have Tr'ayne and Ksenna meet once she is at the Weyr. I
think they would be an unlikely but very interesting pair. He will try
to be a jerk and probably get his man parts handed to him. Praerruth
will be super suspicious, so there is all kinds of fun to be had.

Chim- *I am most intrigued by Jasra and Dardranel. She's a little
too young for them to be in a relationship (Jasra is in her late 20's
lol) but it would be super adorable if Dardranel developed some sort of
girl crush on her and latched on/ started following her around. Thread
idea: Dardranel is doing the troublemaking candidate thing (I read her
profile and she seems like a handful!) and Jasra catches and scolds her.
Then is nice to her. You like? Or did you have an idea in mind?

Nora and Aypoth running into Aydan also sounds fun. He's a weird kid and
if Nadya gets involved then drama a'hoy!

Kireon- We can have Durian see O'sho and Sol in the same thread.
O'sho won't be able to chat for a very long time, so Sol can swoop in as
he goes. Any idea what sort of dynamic/ relationship we want between the
girls?

Good to go with the Wher thread too! *Which would you rather do first?*

Raven- I'll have a Nara x O'sho thread up for you soon!

Minute- Any ideas? I'm looking for long term stuff, not just
random threadstuff.

Reky- We must do this then! D'lios will be in and out of the Weyr
with the political stuff going on, so I will start something up for us
soon!

I'd love to thread with you sometime Kila. I already said this in the c-box, but maybe once Harri gets to Dali (if ever... stubborn git), he'd want to say hello to Sol. (Also wouldn't mind Rping Harri with Tr'ayne either, that'd be interesting)

Or I mean, if there was another character you were interested in rp one of yours against...

Awesome! Since Nora has been in a lot of threads we should def do Jasra/Dardranel first. And I'm definitely up for Dardranel causing some trouble. She could be poking around in some dusty corner of the Lower Caverns or something where she should not be. Maybe she attempts to sneak into the records room. Or she tries to play a prank on someone.

Then sometime later Nora/Aydan stuff would be certainly a challenge for Aypoth especially if drama starts happening.

Once I figure out what specific troublemaking Dardranel could do that wouldn't be super super serious if she got in trouble, I can get a thread up :)

Jasra frequents the records room so that could be the perfect place, Chim!

I would love to thread Sol and Harri again once he is in the Weyr, Sal. I think she would almost feel kinda responsible for him. Tr'ayne would be all over him and SUPER fun to do!

I can totally see Durian and Sol being friendly with one another and remaining that way! Their personalities oppose in some ways but are alike in others. :D

Which would you feel most up to doing? Nadya or O'sho/Sol? Duri or Cilia are fine with me.

I think that Tr'ayne and Tiana could make some very fun enemies while him and K'rin I could picture partnering up to try and bully people. Of course, Kaheksath would try to chase him off probably.

Let's do Nadya x Cilia first while the hunting mission is still relevant. I'll start it up if I have time this week or you can if you find yourself free!

Minute, Tr'ayne deserves enemies, let's go with that.

Nimara is feeling super sad about what happened to Fajra... I imagine she would check in on O'sho sometime to see how things were. Maybe she'd bring some food? Because that's what people do when another family has had a loss. ;;

Not sure if you wanted to play this out or not, but just wanted to keep you updated on what Nimara would have done during the sevendays that followed.

If you're still up for plots, I can see my Kira taking a shine to Sh'len for ~reasons~. Mainly because she would be worried about his health and understand the not-talking, even though it's for a different reason than why she didn't talk for a while. So she would have lots of patience for him and would probably find him absolutely adorable. I can see her adopting him as a 'little brother' even though they're the same age.

Awesome! I'd love to start a thread once the hatching is done, since... Ya know... Then I'll know where things stand with her character, give a few plot ideas for them meeting.
