AS THE TITLE SAYS. So July, we're going to be a little different and try to make things....fun.
But first, I am sorry to all of you for letting the last two lessons languish while I was inactive. I had big plans, but RL got in the way, and I didn't have the forethought to assign someone to take over for me while I was gone. I apologize for the disservice. I hope ya'll enjoyed what was presented anyway, I am just sorry I wasn't able to let you experience my evil plans fully.
Back to July Weyrling Finals, though. Right now, the lot of you are in your final three months of Weyrlinghood IC, that is, your last season. It'll be winter, that is an important thing to remember for now.
Right now, your weyrlings are doing the following (quoting from the overview of Weyrlinghood page):
FIFTEEN TO EIGHTEEN MONTHS
So, we're playing to this. Your final exams are going to come in the form of between one and three lessons, depending on interest. You get to sign up for the ones you want to participate in, and yes, you can choose more than one. Interest is going to determine which lessons take place.
I will not penalize you if you don't want to participate at all, and you can always hop in later, as all threads are going to assume the full class is there - we just won't be expecting you to tag in.
The potential lessons are as follows:
1.) The class is required to spread out and search for a "lost" person reported as not having come in from a hunting trip. They would be acting as a full Wing and basically doing a sweep of the continent.
2.) Betweening practice. F'reki drills the class in short jumps, long jumps, and jumps to a place they only have another dragon's relayed mental image of.
3.) Right after Threadfall, the class is sent out (yes, while exhausted) to find well disguised fake Thread burrows.
Sign up if you want to participate! There are plans to make each of these more exciting than they sound, just so you know.
As I said before, people are busy, so I am not going to force anyone to participate. Threads are not going to have a set posting order, just the general "don't dominate the thread, man" rules.
Any questions?
