Misty loved love. She add seeing the chemistry as two people came together with sparks and deep emotions, loved seeing them enjoy each others company and have fun together. It was what made life worth living! And her human, Quellyn, was the perfect person to help. What with his ingenious plans and stories, he managed to feed her addiction with gusto! It was brilliant. She had definitely made the right choice with him!
Right now, both of them were keeping an eye out in the weyrbowl for people who needed a dose of love in their lives. Quellyn kept getting distracted by other things, like the dragons that were flying by and the play that was going on between the weyrbrats, all of which made good fodder for other stories. Right now, he was a touch caught up in how the brilliant blue dragon-that-was-once-sky was trying to show other kids how to fly (would he be successful?), having gotten sidetracked from the original purpose of coming out here.
Quellyn was rather aware of how much Misty liked romance, but some of the encounters they had engineered hadn't come out quite the way they had hoped. He was fairly certain some of them had actually been fights or other disturbing things, much to his dismay. But Misty was happy, believing them to be bits of fate, events that would lead the two hearts to join together and beat as one. Or so Quellyn liked to imagine, since Misty simply seemed happy with the events. It was the feeling he got from her. Thankfully, his bright imagination meant that he could elaborate on his pillie's emotions with ease. He might not always have been accurate, but he could elaborate.
A tap from Misty meant his attention was drawn back to scoping for potential Vic... Candidates for creating a love match. Misty seemed to be drawn to a girl that was coming out from the Weyr nearby, one with dark hair and didn't actually seem to be all that much older than them. Possibly a candidate. Definitely one, Quellyn noted by the knots on her shoulder. "Misty, we can't. She can't love anybody until after she impresses and becomes a weyrling. We need to stick to riders and crafters," he admonished.
But Misty would not be denied, scurrying across the ground to the girl and waving her antennae at her. Quellyn sighed and followed closely behind. Oh, well...
"Hi," he introduced himself, a bit shyly, unsure of how she would feel about the whole situation. "I'm Quellyn, and this is Misty. Do you have someone that you like?"
