Plot Volunteers Wanted

Okay, so, earlier today I had an idea, which I proceeded to ask Cath about and got the okay for. :3

My new candidate, Kahrie, is a thief and con-artist. One day she will be pulling off a scam, most likely robbing someone blind, when she is caught. There might even be a little fighting involved as she certainly won't give up willingly. Now, she might have been able to get away without serious problems many times in the past, but not this time. You see, it just so happens that the person she robs is someone important, be it someone in a position of power or a good deal of swing. She is caught and ends up facing punishment, which the players of the people that would most likely decide the punishment will decide.

Oh, but she doesn't roll over and accept this punishment. Instead she grabs her bonded and runs away from the Weyr, becoming a holdless weyrling/wherling. Now, this is not a good thing and can cause all sorts of drama.

This plot will not be happening until after Kahrie has impressed, and I have no idea when that will happen, it could be anywhere from CalKal to over a year from now. So basically this is early sign ups. I need both a person to be robbed and catch her and anyone else that would be interested in being involved.

Okay, I have no idea how or why Jafari would get involved, but this feels like something he would get involved in, either via going after her because he has ~feels~ about the Holdless, or because he would think she was being an idiot and go after her or something, but yeah. I could easily see him coming after her or following her out into the wilderness to tell her to come back.

Lanorun could be involved in helping to convince Kahrie to come back to Dalibor in the future because he will be all conflicted and stuff.

Assuming that you recognize that she'd be caught in the act, I do have a wingleader. I don't know what he has that's valuable, but I'm sure there's some marks or something around. It's a possibility. I also have a wingsecond who's the daughter of Ruatha's steward, but her weyr's not very accessible if you don't have wings!

Depending on how bad you want that encounter to go, I have Durian! She's an ex-thief/pickpocket/scammer herself who retired, mostly, upon Impression to her brown, Mesreath the grumpy.

She's also a wingsecond, so there's that!

Jakren is out in the wilderness and can therefore lend some assistance. Also, she might be able to also sneak away in Swarid's caravan without his knowledge in order to actually run away. Otherwise I have characters who can be robbed but it seems there are plenty of others who are keen for that :)

Okay, so Jafari and Lanorun for trying to convince her to come back? Jakren helping her out sounds absolutely wonderful partners in holdlessness. :D

As far as robbing goes I think Durian would work pretty well, that has the potential to go bad. However, to ensure maximum trouble maybe we could get a second person in on the situation as well, like maybe Rayna, Boo? Like one of them is visiting the other when she gets caught? If a junior weyrwoman is there for a possible brawl I can only imagine the chaos. >:D
