T'von was laying atop his bed, strumming away on his gitar peacefully with no real rhyme or reason. Meanwhile, his black pillie was up to his usual antics. He was currently looking over his pile, adjusting a stone here or there, placing a necklace on this thing. Atop it all was one of the large orange fruits that had appeared at the Weyr overnight not long ago. It had been extremely tough getting it up there, not to mention in his humanpet's place in the first place, but he had managed. The gourd was already beginning to soften, though, and it wouldn't be but another day or so before it became rotten and T'von would have to between it from the stench.
Still, there was something missing from it, Greedo felt. He always felt this way of course, but it mattered not. This had to be solved. With some clicks of determination, the pillie skittered off as quick as he could, literally rolling down the steps that led up to the weyr. T'von gave a sigh and shook his head and put his gitar down. "Moru, I'm going after him." He informed his purple, then followed where his pet had gone.
Grrr grr grrrrrr! Greedo cried out, having a large head start over his bonded. With much haste, he rolled out into the Bowl, the sun having set not long ago. The black found himself scuttling into the wherling barracks, wondering what treasures could be here this time. He had been here before some time ago, for much the same reason, but it's not like he remembered. This place was new to him, unexplored.
He went up to the first room whose door was open and with his usual indifference for something called 'privacy', pushed his way past the door. The first thing he saw, was the brown, bumpy lump of a wheret. This struck his curiosity, but he shook his head. Grr grr. He said to Brownlump. But he wasn't good enough to be a part of his pile.
It didn't strike him that he was intruding on the same boy twice now, but he could care less about that part. Looking around he found a shirt that would balance everything out perfectly. Grabbing the shirt in his mandibles, he clicked to Brownlump. Sorry, but maybe next time. His prize now obtained, he skittered his way out, the shirt dragging the ground just on side of him.

Brownlump, as Greedo thought of Rask; had cracked one beady little eye to begin with at the noise of a pillie skittering at him. If it had been same color as Majere he would have rolled over and ignored the thing because his human would have hollered at him otherwise. But, Rask could pretty clearly remember the brown bug made a different noise than the black one that had been in front of his snout. When he stood up, Randiel should have awakened as Rask did; but Rask didn't much seem to notice his human was still asleep.
Not when he finally saw the thieving intruder trying to make off with something. With a low, annoyed growl at a thing that dared to steal from Randi; Rask stalked toward it. A foot on the tunic would slow the bug down potentially; but he wouldn't have to worry about that long as he likely felt something scrape the back half of his carapace. And these teeth were nowhere near as small as the pink flit's had been. The mouth and teeth of Rask might not be big enough to actually pick Greedo up and possibly smash him utterly. But the annoyed mental growl Stupid bug wake Rask, think steal Randi-thing? probably showed the creature was certainly aiming for such a thing.
Majere meanwhile, had sort of sat up in his larger bucket; clicking his mandibles in a way not unlike someone chuckling at another person being harassed by a large angry farm animal. Though even the schemer of a pillie thought Rask trying to pick Greedo up by tilting his mouth sideways to scrunch the black annoyance was too much. Thus would Randi get a rude; wet wake up in the form of Majere climbing onto his bed over his torso and pinching him square on the nose. "GYAH?! SHARD IT MAJERE!" Majere saved himself a scolding by not only sharing memories from his 'face decoration' position. But also by pointing at the reason he woke his person up as he let go of his human's nose Krekrekre KRE krekre!. See? I didn't pinchy pinch for no reason! big n ugly you won't let me Magic intelligence into is hurting someone! was likely the message he tried to convey to Randi.
Not that Randi needed more than what he saw as he inadvertently sent Majere rolling Carapace over antenna back toward his bucket from leaping from the bed. At almost the same moment; despite Mean!Rask's close proximity Aela sat up from her high perch and screeched hateful rage down on the black thing. She had almost forgotten the bug, but Farkas waking and sending fear memory blips out got her ire up again. So Aela joined Rask in the attack, biting at the base of Greedo's antenna instead of the heavy shell she couldn't hurt. Randi had begun trying to pull Rask away from Greedo but facepalmed at Aela "Rask drop the sharding bug and quit biting him!" Why should Rask? Pinkscreechy is be bite too. The shout from the exasperated boy would likely be heard by anyone in the hall of the wherling barracks "HER MOUTH CAN'T SCRUNCH IT! your's CAN you great lump!". If he wasn't so annoyed at Rask the fact that the now probably balled up Greedo slipped from Rask's mouth like a Canine playing with a ball too big for its mouth to grab might make him laugh. But from Aela and Farkas' reactions he just hoped he could get the pillie away from Rask before it got really hurt. That would suck shell to explain to a Subking rider...that his pet got hurt due to his lack of control over his wheret.

As Greedo attempted to steal away the shirt, he found out rather quickly that he couldn't, as there was a weight of some kind holding it down. Looking back, he gave several irritated clicks. He had told Brownlump! Brownlump was not good enough for his pile! He should find another pile to be a part of!
Not even a full second later, the pillie felt Rask's teeth attempting to find purchase on his shell. Grrr grrrr gr grrr! No, he didn't think that the tunic was worth all this, as he had never had something Rask's sie attacking him. Well, aside from the larger colors of pillies he tried to swipe from, but those were much different.
Giving up on his endeavor, he dropped the shirt and and attempted to beeline out of the Barracks, when a familiar pink flit began attacking his antennae. Grr grrrr! Not BadMinion again! She obviously had never learned that he didn't want her as a minion, she was much too bitey for that. He shook his head to dislodge the pink from the sensitive area, then rolled himself into a ball to protect his soft underside from the angry wheret. What the black hadn't planned on, was being pushed around and rolled about as the young brown tried to get a hold of him with his small mouth.
T'von had began looking around, inside the nearby rooms that he knew his pillie had acess to. More than once he had been warned that the safety of his pillie couldn't be garunteed should he intrude into certain weyrs again. Though the sun had set by now and it was about time for the whers and their handlers to start waking up, so he hoped the pillie wasn't scaling a sleeping dragon.
It was then that he could feel the fuzzy connection he had to the bug, feeling panic and fear through the link, and from what he could make out, by a brown.....blob of some sort. It was impossible to tell from the fuiness of the mental picture.
Sighing, he broke into a run to locate his lost pet that seemed to be in trouble. However, he stopped when he saw the black ball that was his pet being rolled out of the wherling barracks, a young wheret hot on his trail. He gave a laugh at the sight, considering the wheret's jaws weren't big enough to fit around him and he wasn't big enough to crush him. Then a familiar face dashed out after the pair, and T'von shook his head. "I think he has a liking for you." He called out to Randi jokingly, as he jogged in front of where his pillie was rolling.
He then put out his boot and stopped the travelling bug there, but it didn't stay that way for long. "Off to the lake with you, you thick-headed bug." He said, before giving his balled-up black a rather stout, but still harmless, kick towards the lake, Greedo now rolling with some speed and giving his bonded feelings of anger and hate.
He looked at the wheret, then at Randi and grinned. "I never did congratulate you on Impressing, did I?" He chuckled lightly. "How are you and your bonded getting along?"
