{desc=Baby wher joins vicious illegal gang}((Laan I am writing this that Dards left a "meet-me-here" letter for Andru and Ask. I think it's alright but???))
Dardranel and her favorite personified (whersonified?!) nightmare, who just so happened to be her mindmate, had been researching. "Extracurricular" activities. Those very "extracurricular" activities were mainly for Dardrask, but his lanky handler didn't mind those either - especially since they involved her second-favorite pastime, which was to say, sneaking around. She hadn't done any of that since running into the bluerider L'xon at her attempted foray into the empty, post-Wenth but pre-Ausk Hatching Sands...until now.
Luckily they'd avoided any tunnelsnakes so far, which were possibly a viable threat considering Dardranel and her black were sneaking around in the Lower Caverns' darker tunnels. But hey, they weren't too far from the residential areas, and if those could be called that then there wasn't much to fear, except Dardrask himself. He'd scare away any creatures, even tunnelsnakes as slinky and dangerous as him.
Right now, he was planning to use that scaring prowess of his for the very destination of their tiptoed sneaking through the tunnels...to meet a blue wher he'd heard of, with a funny name that served as a human word as well. Ask. Dardrask very much wanted to join some organization, a gang even, and from his own investigations, that gang could be related to the Midnight Crew he'd heard of, or the group itself. Whatever it was, Ask had information to well, ask about. And Dardranel had dropped a letter, a small piece of leather with hastily scrawled words on it, a night ago.
It read, "Dear Andru and Ask,
Meet us at theculdesack cul-de-sac, little around the corner cave-room thing, left of the first storage cave in the Lower Caverns. We mean no harm.
- H. I. T. (Handler In Training)"
Welp, here we are, a little cul-de-sac, 'Drask. Dardranel mentally remarked as they reached the meeting place.
Okay. You stay now. Wait here.
Sure. I'll be there if you need me. Don't stray far now! Dardranel would be waiting nearby, in case anything went...wrong.
Dardrask, as silently as he could, crept up to the meeting spot. Red eyes glowed in the darkness, and the rest of their owner would be hard to see in the shadows, except to handlers and their whers.
Here now. You Ask?
