{desc=snooow daay!}
And all over Al'dr.
He looked absolutely mortified, and outraged... with just the right amount of shock. His expression was absolutely priceless, and Fortath fell over laughing. Your face!
The blue weyrling bit the inside of his cheek, brushing off the snow glaring daggers at his dragon, but Fortath was still gutting himself to really pay attention. "Yup... laugh it up." he began to say as he grabbed a handful of snow. Underneath the fluffy newly fallen snow, was the more packed stuff. With cold fingers he gathered enough to make one loosely packed snowball -- and tossed it at his dragon. His draconian laughter was instantly cut off as he looked rather shocked. But a toothy grin soon spread across his muzzle and he rolled to his feet, so he does play!! The blue suddenly charged Al'dr and skidded to a stop sending a biig wave of snow flying everywhere.

(sorry for the novel Chim XD)[/color] "What is i---!!!!" When Al'dr turned to look at his dragon, his question was suddenly cut off as his eyes widened. Fortath grinned, an impressive show of teeth before twisting and swinging his tail into the snow....
Rest Day... finally.
Weyrlinghood was probably more frustrating than sitting around as a Candidate. He didn't mind doting on Fortath at all, in fact he looked forward to the washing and oiling... it meant he could get a chance to breathe passed all the lessons and sharding learning. There were days where he felt his head would explode, and then there were the days were they learned how to "butcher" -- he was pretty sure he had to keep himself from throwing up each time. Though... he will admit its getting easier to hanlde, and Fortath does a great job at keeping his mind busy.
In fact, unless Al'dr needed it, Fortath would rarely give him time to think by himself. Ever since that fated meeting with K'var after the hatching, after he reassured Fortath that he didn't blame him in the slightest. This was the truth, he wanted this life... sure being forced to stay away from Kai was hard, really hard in fact but being a Dragonrider was something he's dreamed of for a very long time. Even though its only been a handful of months, he couldn't imagine life before Fortath. He sorely missed K'ius and he was still really confused about the surfaced feelings, but Fortath occupied most of his time and his mind (which he was thankful for).
Now speaking of the 'little' blue he wasn't so small anymore. In fact he's grown rapidly, and the time between washing and oiling has decreased. Now he was still thinner than the other blues in his class, but there wasn't anything wrong with him -- especially after everything he's eaten.
Today Al'dr was more than happy to sit inside. While he was restless and itching to go out and run... there was this small, insignificant thing that kept him inside with his door firmly shut. Snow. Winter was the bane of his existence and he really didn't want to go out. It was bright out, and there wasn't a cloud in the sky... the light almost beckoned you. But it was a lie, everyone knew that if there wasn't a cloud in the sky it meant the air was sharp and very very brisk. No thank you.
So there he sat lounging against his Blue, Tali was curled up on his chest, her head tucked under his chin purring softly. Her purring was relaxing, but it didn't quell his restless shifting, his fingers drumming against his stomach.
Al'dr. I'm bored, and you're making me restless. Lets go outside, c'mon it will be fun! I don't want to sit in here today. "Tough, i'd rather be bored in here... than cold out there." The blue snorted, I know you want to get out and do something. Actually, you know what? Al'dr barely had time to question what his blue was going on about when his 'couch' suddenly up and moved, his head smacking against the stone floor. Tali tensed up suddenly, all her claws digging into his chest/collarbone. Al'dr hissed, holding his head with one hand and attempting to reassure the kitten so she doesn't claw him anymore. "Was that really necessary? Shards," he snipped.
Fortath hummed slightly amused as he dipped his head to gently nudge Tali off his chest. Once done the dragon took the collar of Al'dr's shirt in his mouth and helped hoist his rider to his feet. We're going out, or I'm going out without you.. To show his rider that he was serious he meandered to the door and tried to work it open. "Don't leave. Hold on, wait!" Al'dr dove for his coat, slipping on some boots... practically stumbling out the door after his Dragon.
Don't look so sour, Love. Al'dr replied with a incoherent grumble of words. His arms were folded across his chest, and he huffed in a way that would make K'ius scowl look harmless. "Go play. I'll just stand here and freeze."
Fortath trotted away several feet, snow flying in his wake, but even though Al'dr couldn't see it there was a mischievous gleam in his eyes. He wasn't normally the prankster type, but there was a part of Al'dr's personality that was rubbing off... and well Al'dr was being a big baby. The blue rider was looking away, unimpressed by all the glittering snow. He wanted Fortath to have all his fun so he can clamber back inside and curl up with a hot mug of klah.
Fortath laughed, well... cackled more like for a second more physical than mind voice. He pushed the snow a bit with his tail to test it. It was light and fluffy, yet heavy enough for some good distance with the right amount of force. Oh Al'drLove...
