Divith deeply enjoyed being washed and oiled. Didn't most dragons? But there was a special reason for the blue's fondness and it had to do with the female that was currently slathering him up. Kelsira was lovely, he adored her, but the woman didn't get out often enough for his tastes. This was one of the few times that she would actually leave her forges or weyr and Faranth help him if he let this go by without him getting her to talk to someone!
He hummed as he contemplated the lake around them. There were a few other dragons and riders getting clean there. And several certainly looked friendly enough. His tail twitched slightly, betraying the excitement and mischief building in him. A rare state for the blue, who preferred calmness and thoughtfulness over most any other emotion. But Kelsira had denied herself balance for far too long and the state was driving Divith up a wall. He was half of her, together they were whole, and when one of them was not balanced they both weren't.
This was going to be fixed immediately.
Kelsira finished with the oiling and crossed her arms, looking her dragon over. She was quite pleased with the results, his hide as shining and lovely as her burnished metals. "Okay, we're done here. How about we head back to- DIVITH!" The blue had taken wing suddenly and grasped her underneath her arms, hauling her a few feet into the air and aiming towards one of the other dragon/rider pairs.
Kelsira, I believe I am feeling like playing today. How about we get this other pair to join us? She could almost hear the smugness in the blue's voice as he hauled her over and let her drop into the water beside them, sending a huge splash up into the air. She came up sputtering and coughing and more than anything shaking, the cold seeping into her bones.
"Divith! It's c-c-cold! BRAT!" She yelled up at the dragon that hovered in the air above them, well protected from any potential retribution. Kelsira attempted to stand up, her joints locking from the low temperature of the water. "I'm so sorry, Divith just decided to play a prank. I don't know what's gotten into him lately, he's been just so temperamental, and.... Sorry." It was a weak ending to her little apology but the best she could do as water streamed down her face and clothes.
