{desc=SCREAMFEST}Tamarine rubbed her temples as she stumbled down the hall. She was tired. It was way too early in the afternoon for her to be awake, she needed klah. Lots and lots and lots of klah.
Tamarisk seemed to have no problems with the early hour, although she had demanded to get goggles made to her specifications to be able to patrol outside RIGHT AWAY. Tamarine had requested some from her cousin, who had strangely enough be able to provide. Something about his weird blue dragon and an obsession with fashion... He had a surprising collection of goggles.
After Tamarisk's brief patrol outside, Tamarine had hoped that they were finally headed towards the dining hall. Klah. Sweet, sweet klah. She could almost taste it. But no, Tamarisk had insisted that now they patrol the halls. So while the little wherlet decided to skulk around in the shadows, Tamarine had sat down. She frowned as she saw someone approach, then hid a smile. She recognised one of the Wherlings Gennesk had taken an interest in. The one that also had a screaming wher.
STATE BUSINESS! Tamarisk ordered Saosk, bounding out of the shadows in front of him. TAMARISK NOT LET MISCREANT PASS!
"Rissy, they're wherlings too, they're allowed to be here," she told her wher calmly. She gave Saowyn a sheepish grin. "Sorry about her. You're just the person I wanted to see, though. Please, I need to know your secret. How do you cope with the screaming?"

There was another sleepy wherling wandering the caverns. Though this one was wandering around with a warm cup of klah, still half-asleep. Her and Saosk were finally back on good terms, she was no longer forcibly blocking him. She actually sort of felt bad for that... but it was effective. He doesn't want to be given the cold shoulder again so they sort of see eye to eye. She used to let him get away with a lot, but when it came to Mouse and angering Gennesk and Genner... just she could not handle that.
"Remind me why we're not still in the dining hall...?" she asked him not really expecting an answer since she was just... tired and...sleepy. STUPID LAZY HUMAN. SHOULD LET HIS GO BACK TO BASKING IN SUN. PUNGENT FILTHY SUNTOUCHED USELESS-- he cut himself off trudging forward. He caught on that she was only trying to bait him, she was okay its been over a turn and she was well used to the schedule, minus the hatching times. She smiled behind her klah mug, walking behind him. Times like these she tended to forget everything else.
Saowyn used Saosk's vision mainly as she walked behind him, mainly testing herself and having fun with his crazy 'darkness vision'. So when Tamarisk jumped out of the shadows in the moment she was using Saosk... it scared the crap out of her. She jumped back fumbling her klah mug. Saosk didn't jump like his crazy handler, he glared the wherling down flaring his wings and puffing himself up. MIS--MISCREANT?? YOU LISTEN TO SAOSK! SAOSK YOUR SENIOR, PATHETIC EXCUSE FOR A-- "Hush... Saosk," she told him once her heart stopped flipping out. "Shards, you're good at that," she told the Cyan before her gaze turned to the handler.
She giggled slightly, "its okay, I need to remember to drink my klah before I leave so i'm prepared for these surprises."
Her question caught Saowyn off guard and it showed clearly on her face, she didn't know people would know of her and Saosk. Well... unless the cyan wherling spoke to Genner or Gennesk. "Well, I don't know how to tell you this..." she began rubbing the back of her head with one hand, "time and a lot of patience."
Saosk turned his head to "glare" at his handler before his attention was strictly on Tamarisk still. "A lot of patience..." she repeated.
SAOSK SHOULD ASK YOU WHAT BUSINESS, he snipped at the cyan.
"So.. I take it she yells quite a bit?"

"Oh Faranth, you have klah? Can I have a sip? We haven't quite gotten to the dining hall yet and I'm falling asleep. I mean I've been getting up early, but this is ridiculous." She paused, seeing the other girl's surprise. "I'm Tamarine, and this is Tamarisk. I'm bluerider G'lin's cousin? Um, Gennesk told me about you. Mainly because when he met Rissy, he may have compared her to Saosk a lot. And threatened to stomp her."
TAMARISK PATROL! APPREHEND MISCREANT! GENNESK SAY FOR STOMP! Tamarisk shouted at Saosk.
"Rissy you know that's not what he said," Tamarine sighed. "He said that Saosk is a lot better and that you should be like him. So stop shouting at him." She gave Saowyn a long-suffering look. "I've never heard her not shout, actually. Not sure she's able to not shout..."
TAMARISK APPREHEND SAOSK-MISCREANT! Tamarisk declared, drawing herself up to her full, inconsiderable height and advancing on the much bigger Saosk. One day she would be scary, doing that, but she was still quite small. Tamarine scooped her up, grateful she was still, barely, small enough to do so. NO! DOWN! TAMRIMINE TAMARISK DOWN! TAMARISK APPREHENDING MISCREANT! DOWNDOWNDOWN!
"No. That's enough. Saosk wasn't doing anything wrong," Tamarine scolded.
