The College Board!

Since a good number of our active members are away at college, I thought I would start up a college board on which we could all post our college news, comings and goings. Enjoy!

My college is having WoW at the moment: Week of Welcome. We get concerts, games, free food, and entertainment.

I moved in a day early so everyone else is going to start moving in today. I'm living in theTheatre House and it is AMAZING- soooo much better than dorms! My room is huge, even for a triple, though my thrid roomie woke me up at 7 o'clock this morning and I don't know when she got in last night. We are currently in the RED ZONE; aka the first six weeks of school when you are most likely to be assaulted. All of the freshman are scared.

*Blinks.* I wasn`t assaulted my freshman year. And that was three years ago! hehehe. I is a Junior! Mwahahahaha! FreshMEAT! *Coughs.*

o3o Jack is happy! Happy...but sooooo tired. -headdesk- The theatre group is great. FUCKINGINSANE....but great. I have...recently returned from a trip to the yacht club.

...yeah. College students--dramaones--should not be allowed in windy, watery areas. xD;; So. Many. Poses.
Docks became catwalks.
Wind became fans.
One boy became the entire(semi-stripping) slow-motion lifeguard squad.

...it was fuckin' fantastic.

I'm glad your theatre group is amazing and nuts. And aren't all theatre people a little bit insane? I LOVE mine- which I just so happen to be living with! We stay up late at night and geeeeek ouuuut :3

Semi-strip show? XD

Well, can`t say much. I have had friends give me and my other friends a semi-strip show before. But mostly down to swimming trunks. But we would hoot and holler and whistle. One of my guy friends threatened to go nude on us. I was like, "Um, no thank you." XD

xD You should have been there, Kilaaa. It was great. xD;; I got a bit bored at times--there wasn't a whole lot to do besides talk, and I haven't become BESTESTBUDDIES with everyone yet--but overall it was a very worthwhile trip.
xD; I'm both sad and very very happy that I don't live with my group. Some of the girls can be...protective of their positions--aka threatening and somewhat mean to anyone who could be a threat...thank god I'm a techie--and I don't get along with all of them. Some of the girls are fantastic though. Most of them, even.
As for the boys....I dunno if I'd feel safe around them when beds are involved. xD; Namely because none of them have any shame, and not quite half of them are gay as hell.
I have no doubts in my mind that at least two of them would happily plod around naked as the day they were born ninety percent of the time. And the others...I imagine boxers. Constantly. Or in the case of one....shortshorts or thongs. Constantly.
I think I would probably eventually shoot myself or gauge out my eeeeyyeyes.

...he was being a sexy model, so it was okay. xD Although I wish we had videoed his slow-motion walk. It was hilarious...and spot-on. Great guy, that one. He's always posing. Always. But he's super nice too. xD; Such an oddball.

So I wish I could tell you how my first day of classes went on Monday, but I was in the hospital! I got up, got ready to go, and then, WHAM! Kidney stone! Thankfully I was eventually rushed to the ER and put on some MAJOR painkillers. Today I kinda just drifted around in the aftermath on some more prescriptions and was excused from the one class that I did have. What a great start to the year!

Ah, I am sorry, Kila. My first two days were decent. meh. It is just the beginning of the year.

Woke up again today in pain, soooooo I missed my classes again. What in the world? Give me a break, eh? Oh well, I'm sure I'll start school eventually, lol.

Have you emailed your professors and all? Cause I know some of my professors only give you a certain amount of days to miss in class before you start losing point toward your final grade.

Yes, and they're being largely understanding. If they start taking points off of my grade already i'm gonna be PISSED. But I don't think they will.

Yeah. I mean, you honestly are sick and went to hospital. They better be really understanding. I would. And I do hope you start to feeling better soon.

Double update: I'm feeling infinitely better, though i'm not sure if my stone actually passed. I have, however, regularly attented class this week

After much waiting and competition, I GOT CAST AS GWENDOLEN IN THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST!!!!! Yaaaaay me! :3 I'm very excited....

Congratulations, Kila!

I don't know if y'all are aware, but I was accepted as the assistant stage manager for our production of Never the Sinner. Its a lot of work--and I'm totally still learning--but its totally worth it.

We open next week, and I'm super excited. Our set is incredible--if I have time next week I'll take a picture and show y'all. It has two pods that go out into the audience, and we even have a ceiling. xDD It isn't quite done yet, but its 90% done, and we're super happy about that.
Our costumes are in and done as well...and I've never seen sexier men than our cast in 1920s get up. ;O Ooh-la-la y'all.
The 1920s knew a thing about good looking suits. ;D

Uhm...anyways. I love our cast to death..and while I get a shade annoyed with one of our main characters--don't get mad at me when I have to constantly get onto you about the props you don't tell me if you do or don't use damn it!--but...hey. I'm still learning...and as much as his arrogant ass would like to not be...so is he.
Besides. If it goes on too much longer...Jack'll teach him a thing or two about respect. ;3~<3

Aaanyways. I'm tired and this week is gonna be the worst...but I'm soooo looking forwards to all of it! -bouncebounce-

And a love interest? OooooOoooOoooh!!! I hope it all goes well! Rofl... If I were to get into my love life (or lack there-of) it would confuddle the whole board. SO I wont.

Also, on a really strange note, I went into the big, general laundry room for the first time today and REALLY liked it. It was... peaceful I'm have a solitude kick, I think.
