Has anyone here used both Gimp and Photoshop?
I currently have Gimp 2 on my computer, and I'm considering downloading Photoshop as well, however, my friend also has Gimp 2 and considers it to be as good as Photoshop.
As I only just realized I have Gimp on my computer, I've never used it in my life...
I'm looking for second opinions here! c:

I only have Photoshop Elements 2.0, which is about five versions behind, and I still prefer it significantly to GIMP, except when it comes to colorizing things. I suggest downloading it, and trying out both.

I've personally used both, and I find photoshop to be extremely superior. But you might call my opinion biased, considering that's what I was taught on and grew up with. X3 Trying out both like Bre suggested is probably your best bet, though.

Thanks guys! I think I'll try and persuade my mother to allow me to download Photoshop, and I'm going to attempt to use it. *nods*
I just tried to use Gimp, and it's making me annoyed... D: It didn't work as well as I thought it would. Photoshop just might work better.
*is trying to convince self that begging for Photoshop would be worth it*
Wait... Is Photoshop free? *feels n00bish again*

No. Even the Elements version is kind of pricey, and none of the ways to try to get it outside are very good. ^^;
