{desc=Riocard and Imber} Today he woke up feeling awful, sore throat and a slight fever. This isn't anything new, Riocard tends to not go outside as much as he should, and studying is more important than eating. Especially when they have new things to cover since the whole 'you are now considered a Dual'. But it isn't stress that he believes is the culprit, or the lack of food and fresh air...
He is convinced that its that bird Matthaus keeps in the room, or the fact that he's never been around this many... people for an extended amount of time in his life. People and animals carry sickness, so this is the only obvious answer. The. Only. One.
The fifteen turn boy sat in the common room. For now it was empty, which was the only reason why he's here. The book he had brought out with him sat unopened at the table he sat at his head down in his arms. You'd think for a boy who had to have everything in order in his room, and around him... would take better care of himself. But sometimes he honestly forgets that he's a human being and needs basic things like, food, sleep and, you know... the outside.
There were eggs on the sands, and well he didn't have time on top of his chores and studies.
For those who've seen Riocard everyday would know it was out of place for him to be practically passed out at the common room table... his book on wher care not even touched.

Imber had some free time right bout now, so she had decided to return to her room for something. She couldn't quie remember what, however, as her attention s caught by the sight if someone sitting in the common room. A fellow candidate, obviously, but she couldn't fathom what he was doing there. Perhaps needing some help? She moved on over to ask, then caught sight of hide face. The boy looked... Pale. Sick. Not well.
Not wanting to disturb him too much, Imber decided to disappear for a few minutes, heading to the kitchens to gather a few things. Klah, hot soup, and a cool, wet cloth if he was running a fever. It never hurt, especially when he had looked particularly miserable. Imber hurried back to the common room with these on a tray, hoping that he hadn't disappeared in the meanwhile. She knew she wasn't allowed on the boys side, and didnt even know which room he was on if she did dare risk getting forbidden to stand if she wanted to dare thing to find him. Heck, Imber didn't even know the boy's name!
Thankfully he was still there, looking just as miserable as when she had left him. Imber sighed softly, then placed the tray of food of the opposite end of the table, not wanting to startled him too badly and make everything spill.
"Hello?" The question was cautious, quiet, trying not to disturb him too much if he was resting. "Are you... Are you okay? I thought you weren't looking too well, so I brought you this." Imber slid the tray closer to him so that he could take it at his leisure. "The nerves about the hatching are wearing on everyone, I'm sure you're not the only one who will come down with something." A small smile crossed her face as she spoke, wanting to put him at ease. If he was nervous, of course, it might simply just be all her.
With that she clasped her hands together and waited to see what would happen; rejection of her kindness or taking it.
