In The Star Stone (December)

The Star Stone is going to be our version of ______s of the Month or featured characters and members. Each member is allowed one vote in each category and whoever gets the most votes in a category wins for that month. Fully completing the form provided below gets you 25 marks (since there are five categories, you'll get 5 marks subtracted for each one don't fill in but you can fill it in later) and the member or player of the character who wins a category receives 50 marks. Here is information on the categories:

• Member of the Month (MotM) - The actual, real member that you believe deserves to be recognized for whatever reason.
  
• Human of the Month (HotM) - The human character that you just like the most, whether they be rider or crafter, male or female.
  
• Dragon of the Month (DotM) - The dragon character that you like the most for something they've done or how they act or whatever.
  
• Wher of the Month (WotM) - Because the whers need love too, this is the category to vote for your favorite one of them.
  
• Pet of the Month (PotM) - This is partially to promote activity with the site's pets but also to recognize those special IC friends of the characters.

MotM: Nia!
Nia is a sweetheart! And tries her hardest to be around, even when she is busy. She is my sister, I almost feel, if our names do not prove it. I know at the beginning we worried people would get us confused because our names are spelled closely, but I am so happy that things work out for the best. (Voting for Kila next time. hehehe)

HotM: V`lin
This young man is so adorable. One of the few characters RPed by Jack that is not a horny beast! XD You know I had to point that out, Jack. His quiet observations make you think that there is something more behind his eyes. V`lin, I have a feeling, will be one of those people who enters a room and people will suddenly feel at ease.

DotM: Daid
I love this Bronze! He is such a big sweety! And very loyal to his weyrmate, Kalith. Then again, he may not have a choice and fear those nasty claws. But, I think Daid really, truly cares about Kalith. He is sincere, complimenting, happy, and just an awesome dragon!

WotM: Flask
The newest Wher in our ranks. Flask is a sensitive little guy who is going to need lots of loving. But, of course, Risk will help try to make him into a tough little guy. But I actually hope Flask retains some of his innocence. He and Flask will make a good team.

PotM: Yulari
Duh! Lira`s best friend. Jolly, happy, lovable, crazy bugger and overall best friend and partner of Jr. Weyrwoman Avalle. She always has a pleasant attitude about her. She certain can make anyone cheer up quickly. She sure makes O`ris smile, mostly because he knows Avalle is around.

MotM: Kyrillion
Why? I definitely feel like she's Dalibor's unsung hero. She is easily one of our most reliable members, and she never fails to be sweet and kind to everybody. She keeps up with her threads in a way that puts most of us to shame! *cough* She also has a great sense of humor and shares our love of being... less-than-pleasant to our characters.

HotM: C'elin
Why? He needs some recognition after being the Weyr's plot bunny for so long! Between his bad experiences and warped dragon and Pratyba doing her best to drag him along in her crazy plans, this guy's been through a lot. And he's just so cute!

DotM: Irath
Why? Because she is just so much fun to watch! I feel terrible for Tesla, having to deal with her all the time. She has a terrifically strong personality and that shines through whenever she's roleplayed, which is quite a lot. She's also quite the troublemaker, raiding the kitchens with Gulath, and you know how much we enjoy those here!

WotM: Risk
Why? Two words: male Goldhandler! XD She's the most active one at the moment, and she's surely the only wher with the guts to take on a dragon!

PotM: Phareon
Why? He's just adorable. It's hard to believe this little Bronze is all grown up and Chasing-- and winning Queens! He deserves recognition for that, and for helping Shanza convince R'ori that he wasn't allowed to sleep in his own bed. Rebel flitter for the win! ;D

He's V'lin's buddy! And T'el's chew toy. All in all, this poor guy has had it bad, and with his new dragon, I don't think he's anywhere near done yet. -cackle-

My goodness what a ball of Gold! I honestly don't know this wher or her handler well, but I'm excited to get to know them. ;D They're quite a duo for sure, and T'el's been wriggling with excitement to meet them.

MotM: Kyrillion
Why? Kyril is active and dedicated. She makes and plays wonderful characters. Though not a single one of her dragons is above a brown, they are some of my favorites; it's all how she does them. I love how she writes all of her characters; her posts are some of my favorites to read. She's an important part of our community. She's becoming an oldie for here!

HotM: C'elin
Why? I'm the one who gave him Upiditath. I am so sorry for him. He's going to end up in a catatonic state at this rate, because he's going to become entirely warped by the presence of his own dragon. Upiditath is just going to be bad for him. She would warp the sane (she is the embodiment of lust) and I'm not sure C'elin is sane anymore. Poor, poor boy!

DotM: Daidoroth
Why? I love that bronze. All our bronzes are quite wonderful - Valleth is such a character, and so is Shoth - but I love Daido the best. Mainly because he's so lovable and charming. Shoth is easy to love to hate. Valleth needs to stop eying every pretty dragon (except not, because that's the point). Process of elimination for our bronzes win! Or something. >.>

WotM: Risk
Why? I second male goldhandler awesomeness! I don't really think the two of them have been fleshed out to the true extent of their personalities yet, but they've already shown themselves to be interesting. Basically, I want to see more of them, but she's already more active than most of our whers. She was an easy pick to make of the bunch.

PotM: Sibilance
Why? Because I don't hate Show, duh! No, I love the personality that Kia gave this young green. She's so eccentric and feisty. I'm sure she'd be as annoying as hell to put up with in reality, but that's what makes her great. She's the perfect not compliment to L'ven. Maybe she'll get him to have some fun. As long as she hasn't already been warped by the awkwardness at her hatching. XD
