"Look at that one!" a young man said, pointing up toward the sky. "That one looks like a runner!"
Where?
The man turned his head and chuckled at the small Green by his side. "And what would happen if there really was a Runner?"
The Green`s eyes whirled in shades of green, but none of the green in her eyes matched her hide, a fact that she pride herself on. She spread her wings, but she was far enough not to cover her Mine with her wings. I would probably eat it. I don`t get enough Wherry meat to fill me these days, she replied.
M`grr chuckled as he stretched his arms out, stretching his entire body as he laid out in the mix of dead grass and new growth. Every since he escape to Western Continent, things had seemed easier. He had no one to report to, know one to annoy him, and no traitorous weyrmate. Though, with him being here, he was under the rule of Varya and Alizadehth, but he rarely saw the Renegade Queen, which made him quite content with his lifestyle at the moment. A large grin appeared on his face as he sat up from stretching out, looking around as he yawned. He liked days like this. He could be lazy and do nothing. He watched more clouds roll in and he hoped that it would not rain soon. Rain would spoil his days. But, well, Taburith did need a bath.
Hey! I heard that! the Green said, turning her head sharply toward him, snorting. You could use a shower yourself, she retaliated.
He burst out laughing. "I know, you silly thing. Well take a bath together if it rains. Running around naked sounds fun to me, anyways," he said.

As if the mention of running around naked had been a cue, a shadow, one not cast by the roaming clouds, fell over M’grr and Taburith. Were they to only look up they would see the underbelly of a flamboyantly Purple dragon. His frame was lithe and feline-like and his very wing beats were cheerful. He bounced along in the air, his movements a dead giveaway of his personality. His rider was much the same.
Y’nis was perched high up on Yusriyahth’s neck, holding on to a lone strap- the only remains of the Purple’s riding harness. The pair preferred to fly free, sans any harness to hold them back. And Y’nis certainly was not holding back. The gangly young man had his head thrown back and was singing loudly (badly) at the top of his lungs. The wind whipped at his pants and hair, making them flap along with Yu’s wings. He swayed to and fro to his own beat, only miraculously staying astride his beloved bonded.
YaMine! YuMine! Look! Down below us! A Green and her rider! We haven’t met them yet, Mine, can we? Oh please, pretty please can we? Y’nis laughed, swaying rocking side to side dangerously. How could I say no to you? Of course we can! Those pesky little flits of ours aren’t around, are they? They don’t make very good company. Well, anyway, onward, my love!
Yusriyath bugled happily and he curved back around, spiraling down cheerfully until he touched lightly on the ground nearby the other renegade pair. Hello![/coloe] he greeted the Green in a sparkly voice as Y’nis hopped off of his back. Who are you? What is your name? Who is Yours? You don’t hail from Dalibor, do you? You don’t look like it. That’s good! What are you doing? he bubbled, prancing over to her.
Y’nis trotted over to M’grr with a big grin on his face. As a renegade he was supposed to always be on his guard, watching out for trap or ambushes or dragons from the Weyrs, but Y’nis and Yusriyath somehow always managed to throw caution to the wind. ”Hullo, hullo!” he sang, approaching the other man. ”Lovely day, isn’t it? You should try the islands if you’re fond of lying about.” He was, as always, friendly and genuine to a fault. If Yusriyath sensed any danger in the situation he surely would not have brought Y’nis down to meet this pair. ”What a lovely Green you have! Yusriyath and I could not help but notice her from the sky. Where do you hail from, if you don’t mind my asking? Tact is not always my forte, I’m afraid. I do tend to be forward at times. What a wherry-brain I am!” He placed his hands on his hips and laughed boisterously at his own antics.

Speak to me, When all you got to keep is strong, Move along, move along, Like I know you do.
F'lan and Seceth surveyed the situation. Well, the bluerider eyed the two pairs of dragonriders below their perch with some vague mistrust and interest, and the blue made observations. The green is small. She and her rider seem normal in temperament. The purple is very purple. He and his rider seem very cheerful. The things that he commented on seemed silly, and his upbeat manner didn't help, but he was careful with each piece. The bulky, finely colored blue was scheming and conniving away. They are both younger than me, I think, though not by too much. F'lan listened carefully, storing the meticulous observations of his dragon away simply because they might be useful. He might need to know them.
Finally, Seceth was done, and he surged to his feet with a little bit of a hop. Hurriedly, F'lan grabbed a hold of the straps he had managed to convince the blue, who liked to be silly and insist on not doing things, to wear for the occasion. With a bugle of greeting, the brilliantly colored dragon surged into the air and swooped down on them. He flicked his tail, acting cheerful and far lighter in the air than his build made sane. It was going to be so much fun to meet some more renegades! They could be friends, that green and purple and him! He looked like a child with how he moved and his eyes swirling a vibrant blue-green to almost match his hide as he came down upon them with little darts and flicks.
In the end, he touched down with a thump a little ways from the other two. The distance seemed careless on his part, made without a thought, but it was carefully measured by F'lan, who dismounted with a paced slowness. So cautious, co cautious! They were renegades! The purple definitely was, at least, and the green looked like it. The wingleaders back at their old, forsaken Weyr had always made them have perfect straps. The one the purple and his rider had would have never past muster. It was simple logic! The cheer he had for it all seemed out of place with how he became so assured with all his thoughts. Hello! I'm Seceth; he sang. He joined Yusriyath in prancing, approaching them with cheerful hops.
The dark haired rider of the blue moved more slowly towards the other two men. They both looked quite happy. He didn't. He simply wasn't a cheerful individual. It wasn't that he didn't trust them. He just wasn't the sort to smile. Their boisterousness and cheer didn't bother him. He dealt with Seceth every second of every day. Despite not being bothered, he chose not to participate, and thus, broody eyes and all, he joined them. "Hi. 'lo. I'm F'lan;" he said, looking between them. He would give it to them both. They both weren't bad looking. Out of the blue, Seceth let loose a rumble of laughter, glancing at his rider. The raven haired man didn't react. He still didn't care. He'd just come along with the blue.
When everything is wrong we move along, Go on, go on, go on, go on, When everything is wrong, we move along, Along, along, along,

M`grr looked up as the Purple pair descended to make their landing near the GreenRider and his dragon. He sat up as he watched them land. The PurpleRider seemed not to care if they were a danger or not. Normally, M`grr was not dangerous when it came to the other renegades. Actually, he recognized the Purple dragon. Taburith had pointed out the flamboyant pair as they ridden off in a completely different direction from them one evening. M`grrr stood up and grinned at the man. "Hello there," he said before quickly noticing the other pair, a BlueRider and dragon, landing and approaching them. He turned his grin on the other man and inspected him. Well, both of these Riders were very handsome. M`grr licked his lips. This could be very interesting, he thought. "Maybe i will consider the islands next time, but I thought the plains would be a good place to rest at the moment. Though, Taburith thanks you for your compliment. She truly thinks herself the most beautiful Green if not the most beautiful dragon on Pern," he said with a chuckle, being good-natured at the moment. "But, we did hail from Northern Continent until we left our Weyr. But, that is the past. My name is M`grr, Rider of Green Taburith. What is your name, PurpleRider? And what are you two fine gentleman doing out this way?" he asked.
Taburith quickly sat up as the males made their appearance. Her eyes were whirling in fast shades of green. She crooned happily at Y`nis` comment about her hide. She was, indeed, a very lovely being, even if her Mine picked at her for it at times. Beauty did have its problems at times. Hello, Seceth and Purple, she said, the Purple not giving his name and not hearing it until after Y`nis greeted M`grr. My name is Taburith, Green dragon to M`grr, my wonderful Rider. And, of course, we do not hail from Dalibor. Dalibor is a Weyr, and Weyrs are very bad and untrustworthy. They make you believe that you can trust them, and when something happens, they do not even help you, try to understand you, or even stand behind you. But, enough talk about petty Weyrs. My Mine and I were just enjoying the day. We were thinking about taking a bath, though Mine likes the thought of running around naked a bit more. Maybe you can join us, be it the rain or in a lake or in the ocean, she said, inviting them, moving closer to the males for them to see her gorgeous hide and to flirt with them more.
