(( Bre-chan, going to set this RP right before the kidnapping. ))

M`grr took a long sigh. He was sitting on Taburith who was just sitting n a rock ledge, looking over the area that they now called home. They were outcasts betrayers, and a Weyrless pair. And no one would accept them. Word had gotten around about the deeds done that were not committed and unable to prove innocence. No one would accept the Renegade Riders who had become sympathetic to their flight. But in joining the Renegades, they had to agree to certain rules and had to follow D`ror. At first, it had felt depressing, but then the fact that they were left alone have the time was a nice thing. He reached over and patted Taburith`s neck. "What is on your mind, sweetheart?" he asked his beautiful Green.

Taburith rumbled lightly. Like you. The past betraying us. But we will strive for a better future. Look at it already! We are free to roam where we want as long as we do not get into trouble, she replied, her eyes whirling with green.

M`grr chuckled. His dragon thought highly of herself and him. She was always trying to find a way to help M`grr increase in abilities and his status. But, with joining the Renegades, his status had actually dropped, but they were still free. Not many Riders could survive without some socialization, but socialization had been minimal lately. He had met F`lan and that cute Y`nis. They had been willing to introduce themselves, but there were still other Riders that eluded him, which might be a good thing. But he chuckled to himself. Today was boring so far. No one had crossed his path lately. Well, he considered this territory his temporarily, and therefore he would protect for the time being.

They were headed to Dalibor. The flight across the water had been hard on Hath. Though the Brown was strong and healthy, a straight flight for more than a certain number of hours tended to wear him out. Patting the Brown on the neck, J'kan bent low over the dragon. The wind was fierce, whipping J'kan's hair fiercely and blowing the steady Hath slightly off course.

"Just hold on, Hath. I can see the Western Continent. First chance you get, go ahead and land!"

Hath did not reply, but strained his over-large wings against the brutal winds. As he passed over the edge of the Western Continent, the Brown, rather than spiraling down, dove for the land. The wind had slacked now that they were off the water, but the Brown needed to rest. Snapping his wings open at the last second, Hath gently glided down.

His landing was by no means graceful, and jarred J'kan in his seat. Unbelting himself from the riding harness, the Brown rider slid from his dragon's shoulder, landing heavily on the ground. He was tired and sore, and Dalibor was still a ways away. "We may have to spend the night here," he commented. "You're done in, and I'm quaking in my boots from riding." The dragon thrummed before cutting off and looking up.

A Green and her rider sat on a rock edge, unnoticed until that moment. J'kan reached unconsciously for his belt knife. "Who are you?" He called as Hath warned him. Be careful, Mine![/color][/size]

A dragon appeared in the distance, making M`grr nervous for a moment. And why should he not be? After all, until someone was close by, you never know you were about to meet friend or foe. And, sure enough, as the dragon and Rider came closer, the sight of land in their eyes and the need for rest in their bodies, M`grr could tell this Rider was Weyr-bound. More and more Riders were transfering to that damning Weyr across the Continent, at Dalibor Weyr. Taburith rumbled lightly, not too thrilled with someone tresspassing on her territory. They sat and watched, wanting to see what they wanted, to see if what they wanted was more than rest.

And it seemed that confrontation would be on the shcedule today. M`grr grinned at the pair. They might be older than him, so he was guessing, but they did not hold an ounce of knwoledge compared to him. This Rider and dragon looked like they were use to the pampered life of a Weyr, with cozy beds; warm, fresh food served daily to them by cooks; and the wonders of a bath. M`grr admitted that he missed those luxeries, but he was a wanted man. He had grown accostumed to living in the open fields and dank caves. So who cared if this man was a BrownRider and he was a GreenRider, knowledge tended to be the winner in most situations.

Taburith jumped in the sky and glided down toward the ground with M`grr`s command. The Green eyed the Brown. If she was not so wary with the fact that he was Weyr-bound, she might have flirted with him shown off her hide. Ah, jays, who cared. She was a gorgeous Green, the prettiest and best Green out there. She landed, showing off her side, showing off her gorgeous hide. But whatever this Brown did, he better not think she was a pushover. She was fast as well and could easily outfly him any day. Let him admire from a distance.

M`grr mentally chuckled at his Green`s antics. Well, he was as much like her. A bit flamboyount. He jumped off Taburith`s back, his hands staying close to his own knives, but standing from a distance. "I should be asking who are you. After all, you are tresspassing through my territory. I ought to... well, I will listen to your reasons first. But do not try anything funny," M`grr said, licking his lips. The BrownRider was quite cute, but the Renegades had already harmed themselves by getting into Dalibor business one too many times. Well, M`grr had not had any fun yet with Dalibor. This could be his chance to earn himself a mark on the Weyr.
