So you see, T'larMine, this is why presentations are important. the Purple had a smug tone to his mindvoice as Feeroneth glanced up at T'lar.
No, I can't say I do see. This argument had going on for nearly a candlemark by that point. Fee was convinced that T'lar should stop wearing his more ratty clothes, which he'd taken to wearing just to irk the Purple. Yes, T'lar was vain in his own right, but Fee took vain to a whole new level, honestly.
Fine. I will show you, then.
"Show me what?" T'lar demanded aloud, frowning at Feeroneth. He knew that how he presented himself was important, he just didn't take it to that level. The clothing that he wore wasn't all-important, as Feeroneth seemed convinced that it was.
Hey now, I never said that. Fee spoke up suddenly, All I've been saying is that how you present yourself is important, and you seem convinced that that is not true.
T'lar rolled his eyes, "You've been implying it that since this conversation started, Fee." there was an undercurrent of affection to his voice, though, and most annoyance had faded from T'lar's mind. These arguments kept his skills sharp, anyways. He had to be able to argue his way out of any situation if the time called for it, even with Engrye.
What I have been implying is of no matter, we're going outside now. Fee said imperiously, heading out the door.
"Why?" T'lar shook his head and chased after Fee, and he caught up with the dragon soon enough that they could reach the halls.
And now we wait. Fee nodded his head and settled down on the ground calmly.
T'lar was less calm, but he managed to appear so. What are we doing? reverting to silent modes of conversing, he spoke quietly to Fee.
We're waiting. Feeroneth stated this as if it should've been obvious.
For?
But Fee didn't reply, so the conversation faded into silence, and waiting.

Cassondra ran a hand back over her hair once more, checking the braid that she was wearing it in today. Mine... Let us go. You look beautiful, as always, Tegarth told her in her most honest tone. Cassondra looked at her and sighed. You best not be attemptig to be manipulative, Tegarth, Cassondra told her, mental tone all but uncertain.
The dragonet looked at her, somehow looking hurt, though she was far from it. Her Mine already knew her love of such things... But she was a little hurt that Cassondra would think that she was trying to manipulate hers. I would never, CassondraMine! the deep green - colored dragonet asserted, her eyes swirling with colors of agitation.
Cassondra winced. She hated it when Tegarth was upset. "I'm sorry, Lovely..." she said as she came over to her dragonet, using a term that only her dragoness had ever heard and ever would hear. "But... You have tried it on me before." Tegarth didn't believe her, but she seemed to be over it as Cassondra scratched her eyeridges affectionately. "Alright... Let's go.." she said in her characteristicly soft voice.
Tegarth rose and waited for Cassondra to take the lead as the exited their baraks and headed out into the halls. Tegarth walked confidently, almost like a Queen, though she was simply a Green. The difference was in the dignity she carried herself in, quiet and collected, though her playful side was still there... Just under wraps. But what was she exactly? Well... People would find out for themselves, she supposed...

A fairly large amount of time had passed (well, more like a quarter of a candlemark or so, but it had felt longer) when someone finally came out into the halls.
T'lar perked up considerably at the sound of footsteps, glancing around curiously to see who was coming. "Is this what you were making us wait for, Fee?" Pausing in his rapid glancing to gaze at the Purple, T'lar waited impatiently for a reply.
Now, if I told you what we were waiting for, it wouldn't be a surprise, would it?
T'lar gave a snort of disgust, slouching back against the wall, though he refused to reply to Feeroneth. How absolutely annoying this was! Feeroneth was not better than he, T'lar, (sure he was great for a dragon and all, but T'lar was the best, and that was that) and yet the Purple was ordering him around like he was nothing but a drudge.
The sullen silence stretched out before T'lar snorted, "C'mon Fee, we're leaving. I don't care what we're waiting for, we're leaving." T'lar spoke assertively, stalking away, in the opposite direction from his barrack.
Feeroneth paused for a moment before chasing after, Wait for me, T'larMine! he cried out, scurrying forward as quickly as he could, before catching up as His slowed slightly.
They rounded the corner side by side, nearly colliding with another girl and her green.
With a startled sound, T'lar scrambled back a step or two, "Sorry, sorry!" he said hastily. He might be the greatest, but he wasn't above having manners. Manners were the most useful thing a boy could have, and they got him further in life than being annoying all the time did.
Unless they were talking about Engrye. In that case, being rude was perfectly acceptable.
Feeroneth didn't bother apologizing. He wasn't the one who'd nearly collided with the green and Her's. Hello, I am Feeroneth. That clumsy idiot is T'larMine. He directed his words at the green in front of him. She was actually kind of pretty, too...

Cassondra bit back a startled squeel as T'lar rounded the corner and nearly ran into her. She pressed a hand to her chest and took a deep breath. "It's alright... Um..." she said softly in her gentle voice. She looked up at him with icy blue eyes. Her curly blonde hair was pulled back in her braid aside from a few pieces that fell loosely around her face. She regarded him quietly, unaware of her dragonet and the conversation she was having with T'lar's purple.
Hello... I am Tegarth. This lovely young lady is CassondraMine, she told Feeroneth, her tone holding just the smallest hint of a flirtatious tone. She couldn't help it... Or could she? Why is he in such a hurry? Tegarth asked of T'lar, eyeing the boy curiously before looking back at Feeroneth
Cassondra moved to walk around T'lar, eyes down humbly... "Excuse me..." But she stopped as Tegarth did not move. "Tegarth...?" she asked quietly, then turned back, looking once more at T'lar. She was shy. There was little question of that. She looked at her dragonet quizzically. What could she be talking about.
Mine... Where are you going? Tegarth asked, as though hurt by exit that Cassondra had tried to make.
No where, I guess... Cassondra said, mental voice sounding muttered.

T'lar grinned, "I'm T'lar, and that's Fee. And you are?" he stuck his hand out, hardly seeming to notice her discomfort. He'd taken her 'um' as a cue to introduce himself, and introduce himself he had. Besides, she was actually fairly pretty. T'lar didn't mind talking to her, even if she did seem a little . . . quiet. And she seemed to be on the shy side, too. He'd just have to drag some entertainment out of her, then.
He hardly seemed to notice her flirtatious tone, except to match it with one of his own, to an extent. Fee's voice had an undercurrent of flirtatiousness, but not so much that one would really notice. He, like His, found this Weyrling pair before him vaguely attractive. Then again, all Greens were supposed to be, weren't they? It is nice to meet you, Tegarth. He smiled draconically, filing both names away for future reference. Fee liked talking with the females. They were easier to understand than boys, after all.
Feeroneth paused to absorb her words, He is in a hurry because he refuses to admit that he is wrong. I keep telling him that presentations are important, but he refuses to believe me, so he decided he'd leave. It is of no matter, though, because I'll prove it to him in the end. He'll admit that I'm right one of these days. His tone had taken on a more gossipy hint as he replied with the air of a girl who'd just released a particularly juicy tidbit of information.
T'lar made a move to step aside as the girl muttered something about 'excuse me'. He wasn't going to stop her from leaving, though he couldn't really fathom why anyone would want to leave him.
When she didn't keep walking, T'lar shifted back into his original position and smiled at the girl. She was probably talking to her dragonet, but that was alright. Sooner or later, she'd pay attention to him again. It was impossible to ignore him.

Cassondra looked back at F'lar, her pale cheeks slightly rosy. She felt embarrassed... "I'm Cassondra... And this is Tegarth..." she said softly, her eyes quickly darting downward. She didn't know what to say. She looked at Tegarth out of the corner of her eye. What was the little Green talking about with Fee...? That is the opposite problem with CassondraMine at times... She always seems to spend more time on her appearance than she needs to... Almost to the point she goes too far and ruins what she already has. Tegarth said, taking on the same gossipy tone he had. Keep working on him, I’m certain he’ll admit you’re right… she said with a soft croon. Tegarth was rather enjoying this little conversation. She looked at the boy out of the corner of her eye. It isn’t bad to think about the fact he looks nice, Mine.Cassondra turned a little more red at her dragon’s words. Don’t point it out! Tegarth laughed draconicly. Mine is easily embarrassed… Tegarth remarked to Feeroneth. Even by her own thoughts…!((Sorry... Not the best post in the world... ^^' )

"It's nice to meet the both of you." T'lar said with a lazy grin in her direction, taking note of both of those names. Cassondra and Tegarth, eh? He'd remember both of those names for sure. Cassondra could come in handy later on, and Tegarth would be along for the ride, he guessed. Planning ahead wasn't exactly his strong suit...
Hmm... Perhaps we should trade Mines, then! Feeroneth flicked his tail in the air cheerfully, I'm kidding, of course. I like Mine, even if he's a little hardheaded. Well, a lot hardheaded. Fee snorted to himself at the thought, before grinning at Tegarth. I'm sure he will eventually. I just don't want to wait that long. However, sooner or later, this will work itself out, as I'm sure it will for you and Yours as well. He nodded his head happily, flicking his tail again.
T'lar glanced down at Feeroneth, who appeared to be conversing animatedly with Tegarth. What could they be talking about, honestly? There wasn't that much to discuss, really. He had a sneaking suspicion they were talking about him, though, because Fee's mind was blocked to his entirely.
I'm sure I could embarrass Mine with his own thoughts as well. he grinned cheerfully, However, I wouldn't consider him 'easily embarrassed'. I'm sure Yours will grow out of it though. They tend to grow out of such things. Well, he hoped so, anyways. If His remained so annoyingly convinced he was right, they'd be having some nice conversations about who was right (him, of course) and who was wrong (His, obviously).
