Kajra will be 22 turns old; Kalith is going to be 3 turns old. Let's see, D'bor was 17 when he Impressed to Stelinth, in the 152nd turn of the interval, which would have been 41 turns ago, so he would have been 58 turns. So, the first iron after him would have been 39 turns ago. ^^

Perhaps wait to bring in the candidate until after Kalith's flight? I don't plan on rushing anything; the flight won't be until next month at least and the first major event will be the gathering. ^^ We really don't need only having females with red hair; it's not realistic.

I twisted my ankle when I was out going to a concert in Portland yesterday. It hurts, is stiff and swallow, and I can't put weight on it but at least it doesn't look bruised. Also, it means I have nothing to do but play on the computer since my dad is watching sports today. I'll go look of O'sho and continue working on Kajra; I'm about two-thirds done with her history so far and it's 1,778 words so far. It's going to be long.

Hey! I'm Showgirl, as you all have probably figured out by now. Wow, Bre, you've improved your writing so much since Bellus. It's amazing, really. Still, it's nice to recall R'lek's name! I see that you're fraught with your usual health problems. Haha! Some things never change, do they?

Uh, let's see, about me. I, too, am a proud orchdork. Actually, we have a concert tomorrow! I play the string bass, so nothing exciting. For someone who actually tries to play music, I have a startling lack of any ear for music at all. Like, it's taken me five years to get to the point where I can tune the darn instrument by myself! By some miracle, I made it into our school's symphony orchestra, which has been an AMAZING experience. I feel like I've gotten so much better this year. The rest of my section is great. Yeah, they're all guys. ^^ There are some positives to being a bassist, if you can bear the lack of any interesting music!

I also ride horses. *pokes username* I'm on my school's equestrian team. Horses are my passion, but I've been getting so serious about school in preparation for college that I can't ride as much as I would like any more. I can only ride twice or three times a week, which, trust me, really isn't that much!

Our school actually just finished the auditions for Guys and Dolls! What a small world, huh? I'm not participating, as I cannot sing to save my life. Really, it's ugly. My singing would make little Green dragons /between./

This is only my third real weyr. I've been roleplaying for a few years, but I'm not uberserious about it. I have my periods where I participate in a few sites, but then they have a tendency to die, and I lose my motivation. I must say, I definitely like DRoP the best! I think roleplaying Candidates is the most fun, and I hope that I've finally gotten my two favorites to a pretty well-developed point!

I'm really looking forward to roleplaying with you all, though I can see the bar's been set pretty high! I hope I can do myself justice here!

Hey Show, nice to have you with us! I know what you mean about the high bar around here. Bre, Lan, and I were all desperately trying to keep up with one another with bios and posts and such. The struggle is definetly worthwhile- the outcomes are amazing.

You'll hear about some of my plotting first, Kila. Of course, nothing is set in stone until the flight, which will be either this month or next month. (It really all depends on how many Kings and Sub-Kings we get and in what time. I'd like there to be at least one or two more Kings and hopefully some more Sub-Kings before I have Kalith rise.)

Show, I would love to ride as much as you, and probably finally will be able to soon (my instructor is letting me use one of my horses so I should be able to ride at least twice a week now). What do you like to compete in? I ride mainly English (though I'm a fair hand at cattle roping) and prefer endurance and jumping, though I'm qualified as a low level dressage rider (but am extremely rusty at that.)

My school's equestrian team shows hunt seat equitation (a flat class and a jumping class), and my regular barn is in the process of changing from hunters to combined training. It's the middle of our school's equestrian team season, but we have to wait for the mud to clear up at my other barn before we can really do any show prep. I also showed Western forever, and I would love to get back into that.

I'm excited! With so many members, we can really get the roleplaying and plots underway!

I know all about mud - I'm only just starting being able to start preparing for track because it rains heavily here in autumn and early winter. With horses, I'm actually switching barns. The one where I was at is largely closing the business aspect so I'm going with my instructor who taught there over to her own farm. That means getting to know some new horses (though I do know some of them) but lots more time riding for me. Hopefully, I'll get to do more hunter classes now rather than just flat classes (I've done most of my showing in the POA circuit which doesn't have jumping).

Well, I don't have anyone I'd rather have as much right hand woman, Kila. Your loyal, smart, and fun - plus, I don't know anyone better to edit everything I write. >.> Anyway, Kalith won't eat any of the Kings . . . Though she might injure a couple of them if they happen to anger her. Man, she is going to be a female dog when she gets to flying.

I'll go write up a proper response to him momentarily, and take Kila's advise about reading our articles; they have a lot of information. We're very glad to have you; it's just going to take a little effort for you to get the hang of already established norms of the RP we have going here. ^^ Just ask any questions that you have; Kila, me, or most of our other members should be able to answer them quickly for you.

All suitors will be chasing at their own risk. ^^ And there will probably be maulings at the upcoming hatching. I've decided on a couple of hatchling ideas (important to my plot ideas) but if anyone gets injured isn't totally decided yet.

Oh, they can jump, but the POA club, at least the local one, don't have hunter/jumper classes in their shows. Since they're a breed of pony, the emphasis is on other factors than jumping, which is less important than other abilities for the ponies.

I won't do anything extremely horrible to any of the candidates. The might just get a bit scrapped up. Newly hatched dragonets can be a bit clumsy you know. And meh, no candidate or rider needs to worry about Kalith. She'll only be caring about the pretty male dragons.

Hmm . . . I suppose I can give you a hint. Let's say it involves babies and renegades. Eheheheh . . . I'm not saying anything else though. The rest is for you all to find out later as I reveal it. Plus, as I've said, nothing is really settled quite yet.

Anyways, about me. Hi, my name is Emi. Well, no it's not. But that's what I'll go by on this site.

I found this site a few moments ago when someone posted an ad on Neopets. Regretfully I don't remember who... They had a yellow font. Yeah... So I decided that since my old site died I wanted a new Weyr.

I won't say my age or where I come from or what school I go to. You can call me a nine year old and I won't defend myself. All you need to know is that I'm between the ages of 10 and 100, m'kay?

I've been in a lot of other Weyrs and have been role playing DRoP for a good long time. I don't know exactly how long because I don't remember when age I started but it's been a while, trust me. I also role play a bunch of other subjects and am currently in one other active role playing community.

In addition to role playing I write, go to school, work at a floral shop, and play the violin. I just started violin a little while ago. I also know how to play the piano though I don't do that very often anymore.

I'm a video game/graphic junkie and -I'll admit it- a total nerd. I'm open to talking about any game in any console (I've played a LOT of platforms and own some that I doubt most have heard of). Keep in mind, though, that if I haven't played the game I won't be able to contribute to the discussion much.

Hehe, just kidding. Violin jokes aren't as bad as viola jokes. (Randomness, but we had a guest conductor come in today and ask how many violas we had. When we said twelve, he just shook his head and said "I'm sorry!" We also had a viola lost from the locker room. Our director told us that he didn't think it was stolen because only one instrument was taken/lost. My section leader then said, "Yeah, and it was a viola!" My apologies to anyone who plays the viola.) We almost have enough people to have a string quartet! Hey, Bre, you could play the viola part, right?
