In The Star Stone (April)

The Star Stone is going to be our version of ______s of the Month or featured characters and members. Each member is allowed one vote in each category and whoever gets the most votes in a category wins for that month. Fully completing the form provided below gets you 25 marks (since there are five categories, you'll get 5 marks subtracted for each one don't fill in but you can fill it in later) and the member or player of the character who wins a category receives 50 marks. Here is information on the categories:

• Member of the Month (MotM) - The actual, real member that you believe deserves to be recognized for whatever reason.
  
• Human of the Month (HotM) - The human character that you just like the most, whether they be rider or crafter, male or female.
  
• Dragon of the Month (DotM) - The dragon character that you like the most for something they've done or how they act or whatever.
  
• Wher of the Month (WotM) - Because the whers need love too, this is the category to vote for your favorite one of them.
  
• Pet of the Month (PotM) - This is partially to promote activity with the site's pets but also to recognize those special IC friends of the characters.

Why? His posts are a blast to read first off, and he's destined for trouble too. xD Not to mention, Flaet thinks he's a stud muffin, and R'ish gives smug smirks every time his name's mentioned. ;D

Why? She's just so gosh darn bubbly that its adorable. xD She reminds me a lot of my old fish, who used to just exude energy, and that's always great. And of course, her "A searching we will go" song got stuck in my head...so now I'm constantly reminded of her too. xDD;;

WotM: Husk
Why? He's just so gosh darn adorable~ ;D And I adore his handler too~ -noms on Hustafer-

Why? Because he's a perfect playmate for Reggae! 8D And who doesn't adore a fellow that friendly? He's like a walking/flying introduction magnet! ;D Makes breaking the ice easy, yes?

Why?
She is my co-conspirator! In all seriousness, though, Kura is so much fun to have around here. She brings a lot of life to this place. She's also super-awesome about getting her posts up in a timely manner, and she's a good writer, which is always nice. I feel like it's easy to reply to her posts, which is a quality I adore in a roleplayer.

HotM: F'del
Why? I love his character. He's so wonderfully complex, and so realistic, too. He practically walks off of the computer screen, and it's not hard to imagine him really living, sans the dragon, of course. It's obvious that Fidelli put a lot of thought into his creation.

DotM: Shoth
Why?
I've only seen him in one thread, and he already makes me laugh. He is one of those characters everyone would hate in real life but everyone loves in the virtual world. He's pretty much the epitome of someone suffering from Short Man Syndrome, and the results are hysterical when he's matched up against dragons far larger than he is. Also, I have a feeling that he might actually give B'nyur something to do.

WotM: Husk
Why?
Well, first of all, he's a wher named Husk. ^^ I love how Vix is so clearly having so much fun playing with him in his posts. It's always the mark of a good character when others can tell the player is enjoying himself. Besides, he's one of those whers that just make you want to cuddle him, even though he's as big as a horse and a hundred times more dangerous.

PotM: Whisky
Why?

What can I say? I'm a sucker for adorable little kittens, especially those that are afraid of dragons. I think the story behind his arrival is the most impressive anything-- it's obvious that he means a lot to Lysita because of the deliverer as much as the delivery itself.

Why? Cause she seems really nice. Everyone does, but I can only pick one. So, for this month, I pick Nia.

Why?He is crazy! Every post I have read with him in it makes me laugh! Total horndog! Reminds me of a guy I know.

Why? She is beautiful and cute! And so funny. Just loves to have fun with her Rider, R`ish.

WotM: Husk
Why? His name is awsome! And love that he does not want to be alone like some Whers.

PotM: Run and Ram
Why? Because of how crazy they are. Take your pick on either, but you cannot have one without the other.

Why? An easy choice. Show was one of the first members to join and since the she has unwaveringly stayed active and an enjoyable element to the Weyr. Her posts reflect both quality and quantity- something easier said than done which everyone can aspire to. <3

Why? Talk about standing out in a crowd. The air around this boy is posatively dripping with drama.

Why? The most obvious case of little bigman syndrome I've ever seen.

WotM: Husk
Why? He's darling, not the usual personality of a Wher you would expect at all. Definetley loveable.

PotM: Sweep
Why?This little queen thinks she's all that and a bag of firestone, will shortly be providing the Weyr with baby flits, and attacks candidates.

Why? She's a solid, heartfelt part of this Weyr. XD She's here everyday, and she cares about the members, even if she doesn't like all of us or notices the stupid little mistakes we put into our bios that we would never catch. She's the coolest 14 year old I've ever met, and well written for one so young.

HotM: B'rak
Why? I feel bad for him having to put up with Shoth all the time. XD Plus, he really does care about people, and he's a sweetie!

DotM: Annith
Why? -hums A Searching We Will Go- Nuff said. XD

WotM: HUSK
Why? He's such a cutie! Tables and size in all, he has a sweet attitude and can really be a darling.

PotM: Sweep
Why? She's a protective mother who is funny to play and has Altith scared that she will really rip off his nose. Plus, who doesn't like teh babies?

Why? She's too smart for her own good. She's a rebel who keeps trying to recruit people to overthrow me. She's an information addict. But, despite all of that, she's a friend and someone will always have a welcoming presence, in all of her obliviousness.

Why? I'd apologize for all the wounds Kalith gave him, but he deserved them. That's why he's so cool!

Why? He's so loving, for a wher, but does the insensible things one would expect of them, like attacking without question and knocking things over.

Why? Our first mother firelizard and Afzal's sweetheart! Plus, she's my kind of flitter, one with attitude!

Why? I know it's her contest thing and all, but I understand just how much work it takes to run a forum. Especially a DRoP forum, which requires a LOT of constant updates and lots of dragon-description-writing. Also, I wouldn't have known she was 14 unless someone told me. Dunno if that's a compliment or not, but I think she's very mature! Um... yeah. I also respect that she actually declines applications rather than just accepting them for fear of scaring people off or something. Etc....
