Hustafer was used to being up when most of the non-wher-concerned population of the Weyr was either getting ready for or had already gone to bed. He didn't let it concern him to much. The startlingly lacking wherhandler population for the time being was sort of bothering, but eventually there would be more. Sooner or later. They were all just more worried about dragons right now. He couldn't say that concerned him quite as much, but he knew it was a logical thing to be busy over. They needed the dragons, even if the whers deserved more attention than they were getting.
Husk was supposed to have been sleeping yet, he liked to wake up a while after his handler and go find him, but he'd awoken slightly early tonight. Hustafer was aware of it, but he didn't worry too much about it. At least, not until he heard the scrape of heavy claws on the stone floor of the dining hall.
And then Husk in all his bulkiness was attempting to climb up onto the table, mostly just so he could have his handler's full attention. They'd been together for so many turns, but still Husk would do strange things to surprise Hustafer now and then. He knew the wher was just feeling lonely, but this wasn't the best way to express it!
"Husk!" he said, putting a hand on his wher's somewhat squashed snout and pushing, trying to make him back down. The Iron just stood there, his front half sprawled over the table, watching Hustafer calmly. "Get off the table! You know you're not supposed to be climbing up on things, you'll just--"
And before he could even finish his prediction, the heavy Iron had succeeded in flipping the table over, knocking it down onto its side with a loud crash. He scuttled backwards from the scene and stared at it for a moment.
Husk sorry, he finally said, propping himself up and making some attempt to push the table back upright, succeeding only in pushing it across the floor with a horrible scraping noise.
"This is why you are not to come in the Dining Hall," Hustafer sighed. "I know you're lonely but..."

Now, R'ish had tried to make a point of not coming out in the middle of the night to stalk the kitchens, but it was clearly not working so well. The habit was developed out of worry years ago, an unconscious need to be up at the darkest time of the night and to chew on something or another to keep the worry at bay. His mother supposed it was nightmares that had created such a strange habit, but R'ish really couldn't tell you. All he knew was that he was up again, stumbling with the slow gait of one half-asleep out of the kitchen with a small fruit in one hand and a lovely bit of dried meat in the other.
He chewed absently on the meat as he shuffled into the dining hall, bleary eyes noting with sudden clarity taht he was not alone. But rather than be in a rush to get out of the wherhandler's way, a grin spread onto the young man's lips and he quickly wandered over, laughing to alert the other of his presence.
"Aw, don't be so hard on the big guy." The Pink rider chirped with a grin, feeling Gyth stir in his mind to take a peek at whatever he was talking to before slipping back into sleep, "Nothing wrong with knocking over a few tables--lord knows the kids and their hatchlings do it daily." He winked and--stuffing the meat in his mouth and slipping the fruit into a pocket--righted the table, swallowing his mouthful with a pleased hum.
Table back to normal he inclined his head to Husk before offering a hand to Hustafer, his fruit back in his free hand, "R'ish of Pink Gyth." He chirped, slipping into a soft bow, "Pleasure to make your acquaintance."

And I can't stop thinking about you, And I can't stop thinking about you, You never call, what do I do? And I can't stop thinking about your love.
P'nay was up. Why? He was hungry . . . Though that might only have been because there wasn't anyone but a sleeping Annith in his weyr and he couldn't sleep. After a very short period of tossing about in his fur, he got up, stretched, and stalked out, only dressed from the waist down and lacking shoes at that. What was the point in getting dressed? It was doubtful that there would be much of anyone in there. And if there was, he had some hopes. He enjoyed the quiet walk down the stairs and out across the bowl, the feeling of cool grass under his feet and a fresh, night breeze all about . . .
That peace was broke when he stepped into the dining hall and say the rather chaotic scene in front of him - an upset table, an iron wher, and two people. Even as he assessed the situation, the table was righted by one of the men and he introduced himself to the other as R'ish of pink Gyth . . . That was the point at which the yellowrider grinned, exuding his typical confidence and charm as he stepped forward, making his presence obvious. The pinkrider was lean with beads in his wavy hair; the other man was bigger and he guessed that he was a wherhandler. He was glad he'd gotten up.
"I think the pleasure is all mine to meet you both;" he said, voice mixing with a very subtle, soft bit of laughter. More pleased than embarrassed in anyway to be half-dressed, he moved between tables towards them. He was fairly certain he was developing a special sense to get himself into situations as wonderful as this. It was like his sense to always pick the person who would always be searched to flirt with when he was out with his dragon. "I'm P'nay, rider of yellow Annith;" he introduced himself to them suavely as he came to stand right beside R'ish.
At least one of them was his. Was the ironhandler interested in men? He would lay bets that R'ish was bisexual at least . . . Tonight, he was getting lucky. Why else would he be up at this hour? "So, whose hungry, beautiful, handsome? 'cause I am;" he said, raising his eye brows. He looked first at R'ish and then at Hustafer. He'd decided that the pinkrider would be 'beautiful' and that handler could be 'handsome'; they seemed like good adjectives for the two of them. 'Sexy' seemed a bit too forward; there was a fine art to doing this, and he was a master of it.
And I can't stop thinking about you, And I can't stop thinking about you, You never call, what do I do? And I can't stop thinking about your love.

Hustafer grinned faintly at the first rider to enter the dining hall. He'd been standing up to prepare to haul the table back upright himself, but he didn't mind letting the other do that for him. Husk watched as if he was going to take pointers for future table-moving ventures, then gave a soft grunt and just pushed Hustafer back down into his chair so he could lay his head on the man's lap, flopped across the floor with his legs splayed out.
He nodded when another Rider showed up to introduce himself shortly after, amused at the small spot of activity now gathering in the dining hall. P'nay's apparent intentions--there were only a few reasons to address a man as "beautiful," after all--made him quirk a brow, but only because he was entertained by the younger man.
"I'm Hustafer," he finally introduced himself, now that it seemed no more people were going to wander in and start throwing names about every which way. "And this big lump of hide here is Husk." He patted the wher on the head. Husk grunted again, peering at the other two calmly, wagging his stumpy tail slightly as an apparent greeting. "He's not normally such an enemy to dining halls, but he's been lonely lately a bit.
"An' I already ate, lucky me, elsewise Husk definitely woulda just hurled all my food on the floor 'cuz he's a goof like that and gets it in his head that he can still sit on a table without knockin' it over. He just forgets how big he's gotten."

He was waiting for Hustafer's response when that new face rolled on around, and a smug, devious little smirk spread quickly onto his face. "Well, well." He crooned, grinning wickedly as he raked those troublemaking grey eyes over the other's half-dressed form, more than pleased to see that the other had just stumbled out of bed.
"Again, I do believe the pleasure is mine." He purred, winking at the Yellow rider before absently moving to circle him, giving an approving hum as he came to stand once more.
"That depends on what you're hungry for," The pink-rider replied quickly, chuckling to himself as he turned back to Hustafer, grinning softly, "Hustafer and Husk, hm?" He tilted his head to the side, beads clicking together softly, "Gyth would love to introduce herself, but its time for sleep and well.." He gave a half-grin, "She's not supposed to squeeze in here unless its some sort of emergency that calls for a dragon in the Dining hall." He winked, chuckling as he inclined hiss head at Husk.
"That's understandable." He added after a moment, "Poor Gyth still thinks she can follow me around like a lost puppy everywhere."

I just need a little of your time, A little of your time, To say the words I never said, Just need a little of your time.
"I got a couple of ideas about that;" P'nay chirped in reply to R'ish's insinuating question about what he was hungry for. Oh, and did he have ideas . . . They involved a pinkrider and a wherhandler who happened to be named R'ish and Hustafer. He quickly turned his attention back to the wherhandler as well, letting R'ish speak first and keeping quiet. That didn't stop him from smiling flirtatiously.
When the two of them bemoaned their problems with their respective bondeds trying to follow them around, he shook his head at them mockingly. "You two think you have problems? Try dealing with a yellow who wants to go everywhere you go, meet anyone even possibly interesting that you meet, and play childrens' games with you;" he told them in a voice that implied 'I win, you lose, and I am so cool, aren't I?" behind mainly amusement.
This conversation was a little boring . . . If he wanted to discuss the silly things that his dragon did, he could go talk to Felicia, or Flaet, or C'lin, or anyone else at a normal hour of the day. He shivered, probably just a reaction to his body finally figuring out that it wasn't exactly very warm that night without a shirt on. There was a possibility it was just himself coming up with the perfect excuse to getting very, very close to R'ish and invade his personal space.
As if it were the most natural thing in the world, P'nay sashayed closer to the pinkrider and then wrapped his arms around him in a very gentle hug. He rested his head on his shoulder without a care in the world, just loving getting close to the another person. "I appear to have forgotten my shirt, and I'm cold now. Can I borrow yours?" Out of the corner of his beautiful blue hazel eyes, he stared up at the other rider and added a beaming smile for effect.
Gonna make you feel it Can you still feel it? Gonna make you feel it Can you still feel it?

Hustafer could only laugh at P'nay's griping about his Yellow dragon. Hustafer didn't mind children's games at all, they were amusing after all, a good way to pass the time. Too bad dragons were generally daytime creatures, he wouldn't mind meeting her. Kindred spirit maybe, and all that.
But he was distracted by the flirting between the two riders, snickering a little at the display as P'nay cuddled up against the Pinkrider. That was about as amusing, and he figured to just make it more interesting.
He rose from his seat, making Husk grumble because he didn't want him to move, and walked over, wrapping both men in a slightly crushing bear hug, just because he could. He let go after a moment and shook his head in amusement, chuckling.
"Well just why were you wanderin' around without a shirt, boy?" he finally bothered to inquire, though he could guess. The man had probably just been looking for entertainment, and well, he'd found it.

A brow lifted as the youth's space-bubble popped suddenly, invaded by a very suave yellowrider. A smug little smirk slid onto his lips and he shifted in the other's grip, sliding his own hands slowly to the man's hips, pulling him closer as he leaned in, eyes flashing victoriously.
"Oh, I suppose I could spare my shirt," He crooned, low and husky as his eyes narrowed subtly, "But you don't look cold to me." He gave a wicked grin, "Fact of the matter is, you look downright hot. But hey. Maybe you have an icy heart."
An even more devious look spread onto his lips as he licked them, tilting his head so that his beads clicked together once more, "Shall we melt it?" He leaned in, breath ghosting over the other's face as he added in a barely audible whisper, "I can make you burn, if you'd like~"
His moment was shattered by the sudden attack of burly arms, and he gave a pleased cackle, a broad grin on his lips as he slid free of P'nay's grasp and slid over to Hustafer, leaning against his chest as he would a wall, almost as though he'd done it a thousand times before. Grinning cheerful he rolled his eyes up at the man, chuckling, "Why, he was looking for some fun, no doubt!" He chirped accusingly, mischievously glancing over at P'nay with a 'come hither~' stare, "What else would someone wander around in the middle of the night looking tasty as a bubbly-pie without a wher as an excuse?"

How dare you say that my behavior is unacceptable, So condescending unnecessarily critical, I have the tendency of getting very physical, So watch your step cause if I do you'll need a miracle.
P'nay narrowed his eyes back at R'ish's husky croon. He chuckled almost inaudibly as the pinkrider referred to him as hot, very, very not interested in getting a shirt anymore. The comment about him having an icy heart registered, but didn't gain any reaction as his attention was captured by the subtle motion of him licking his lips and the click of his beads. Breath wafted against his face. He grinned and breathed it in, captivating by the moment, by the other man's whispering voice and the sensual things that he was saying.
And suddenly he was part of a hug and R'ish was snuggling with Hustafer then. Despite the interruption, he only grinned. The way that the wherhandler had choose to get their attention suggested an idea to him he quite liked. Still, he wrinkled his nose at the pinkrider as he answered for him the question the ironhandler had asked, though he didn't mind being called 'as tasty as a bubbly pie.
"Didn't I already mention that I was hungry?" That rhetorical question by no means undid the truth of R'ish's statement that he had to have been looking for fun. "I simply forgot my shirt in the process of coming to get some food from the kitchens. Though that might have been because I happened to not think that it was that important." He grinned devilishly at that, eyes looking up and too the side in an "I'm not innocent at all" innocent expression.
Having caught R'ish's come hither look, he squirmed his way over to wrap his arms around the pinkrider again. One of his arms also twined itself around one of Hustafer's arm in the process. All three of them were pretty much occupying the space that one person would normally be thinking to want to occupy in a situation like that. Except the situation wasn't really one that called for that much space. In this situations, less space was so much more fun.
When it gets cold outside and you got nobody to love, You'll understand what I mean when I say, There's no way we're gonna give up, And like a little girl cries in the face of a monster that lives in her dreams.

Hustafer chuckled a bit, shaking his head in amusement at the two other men. He offered up another bear-hug just because it seemed appropriate with how the three of them were getting twined together. This would be quite a silly situation for anyone to wander across them in, but that didn't really bother him any he supposed. He'd come across stranger things himself in his own wanderings.
"All right, all right," he finally said, giving P'nay a light shove and laughing at him, shaking his head at the man. This was going to be an entertaining night, it looked like, but first things first. "Go get yourself your food then, and then we can worry about shirts or the lack thereof. Eh?"
In the meanwhile he quirked a brow at R'ish, looping an arm about the man to hold him fast. "You, on the other hand, can stay right here where you are, right? Or do you need to go get somethin' to nibble on too?" He grinned.

"Mm..." R'ish shifted, leaning in to the other, clearly pleased as he breathed in the other's smell with a smug smirk, "Foods all fine and good.." He crooned, smirking up at Hustafer with a flash of his eyes, "But personally, I may have wanted a snack when I stumbled in here, but I'm much much more interested in more...entertaining pastimes than chowing down now."
But Hustafer was right. Hungry people needed to eat--otherwise they wouldn't have the energy for more..productive activities. Chuckling, he shifted to allow the man to shove P'nay away, although he was quick to slide after him. But then there was an arm around him, drawing him back to the wherhandler's side. Not that he minded.
A grin spread once again on his lips and he shifted to face the man, slipping his arms around the other's neck with a wicked grin, "Oh-ho. No sirree, I've had plenty to eat, thank you kindly." He winked and licked his lips, sparing P'nay a sideways glance, "Hurry up, babe." He crooned, eyes falling to halfmast, "'Else we might leave you behind, hm?"

I was so high I did not recognize, The fire burning in her eyes, The chaos that controlled my mind.
P'nay sort of bounced when he was pushed. He was suddenly very not motivated to move to get food as the wherhandler twined his arm firmly around R'ish. It was too much to have the pinkrider snuggle up against Hustafer and tell him to hurry him after saying all this stuff about being hungry for other things. He'd never been that hungry; he'd simply hadn't been at all tired and needed some idea of what to do. Now he had a much, much better thing to do than go get food.
Stepping forward, he closed the distance between himself and them again. Without dancing around it or waiting for any sort of invitation, he pulled R'ish's face towards his and pressed their lips together. His eyes slid closed as he enjoyed the contact, tasted the sweet taste of someone else in his mouth. No food could taste better than that. No food with ever give him the satisfaction that this gave him every time.
Now, he had been having some thoughts about not being so forward and this was definitely a little forward. However, this was because, with time, the idea of what would be too forward for the evening had moved too not immediately trying to remove someones' pants. That would be why, when he started to remember he'd need breath at some point, he pulled his face away from R'ish's and released his gentle, caressing hold. He was grinning with great satisfaction.
Kept playing love like it was just a game, Pretending to feel the same, Then turn around and leave again.

Hustafer quirked up a brow as he watched the two Riders getting well acquainted with one another. That was certainly entertaining to watch, and it was starting to look like watching was all he was going to be allowed to do. They definitely seemed to be more interested in each other alone--so far he'd only gotten their attention by interrupting.
So instead he let go and stepped back, grinning and nodding slightly. "You enjoy yourselves," he said, reaching back to pat Husk on the head. Let's go, Huskyboy, nobody likes an annoying third wheel. He patted the wher a few times and Husk finally rose, ambling towards the door with the clicking scrape of claws on the floor.
Hustafer followed along, leaving the Riders to their business, smirking in amusement and shaking his head as he passed them.

R'ish had turned back to Hustafer, grinning cheerfully, when he felt hands on his face and he shifted, craning his neck to glance back with an arched brow. Lips were pressed against his and he let his grin return, eyes flashing merrily as he disentangled himself from Hustafer and took a hold of P'nay, pulling him closer without hesitation.
Gyth's laughter echoed in his mind as the dragon woke up to find Hers up to trouble again but he tuned her out, eyes closing as he eagerly deepened the kiss. But all too soon air came up as a necessity and he sucked it in hungrily, panting softly even as P'nay grinned. "I never knew I was on the menu."
Grinning wickedly he turned, only to see Hustafer leaving. A brow arched and he glanced to the Yellow rider before calling out to the wherhandler, sliding free of P'nay's grip. "I hope you're just putting Junior to bed." He crooned, a lop-sided grin on his face as he put a hand on his hip, lifting his chin subtly, "And not trying to get away."

Every night you cry yourself to sleep, Thinking: "Why does this happen to me? Why does every moment have to be so hard?" Hard to believe that.
P'nay chuckled in a husky sort of broken way at the pinkrider's comment. Oh, yes, he definitely thought that R'ish was going to be on the menu tonight. To busy getting his own fill of air and grinning, he didn't bother to reply; nothing that brilliant came to mind to say anyway. He turned when R'ish did and shared a look with him, one of his one brows arched, as he saw Hustafer leaving. Where was that wherhandler going? This wouldn't be nearly as fun without him.
A soft sigh escaped his lips when R'ish pulled free of his grip, but he would be so much more disappointed if the whehandler left, wouldn't he? Plus, the pinkrider looked pretty sexy, crooning like that with his head tilted upwards and a big, lopsided grin on his face. And Hustafer had a fine backside. This angle was quite complimentary for him. He cocked his head to the side to fully enjoy it, not being subtle about it.
"Yes, we certainly couldn't allow you to try to escape. And why would you want to;" the yellowrider crooned himself, gliding closer to the older man and his wher. "And, if you're jealous of our good friend R'ish here, well;" he trailed off, sliding right up to Hustafer with that grin still on his face. Then he kissed him, figuring it couldn't hurt the situation, one hand slipping onto his new intimate acquaintance's hip and his other arm around his neck flawlessly.
It's not over tonight, Just give me one more chance to make it right, I may not make it through the night, I won't go home without you.

Hustafer laughed when he was caught on his way out. Husk got the idea and continued on, leaving his handler there in the hopefully-not-too-devious hands of the two younger men, ambling on out of the dining hall to keep himself entertained.
Hustafer, in the meanwhile, decided to go ahead and return P'nay's kiss with one of his own, his usual way--that was to say, passionate and challenging. He pulled the man close up against himself, pressing their bodies together tightly.
He only let him go for a moment so he could snag R'ish as well, grinning at the pair of Riders. They wanted him to stick around, then he most assuredly would!
"Whattaya say we take this someplace with a bit more privacy?" he suggested finally. "Unless you just want to sit around and suck on each others' faces all night, I s'pose that works too."

Okay, that was hot. R'ish eyes flashed as the two men kissed, the Pinkrider licking his lips as he gave them both a good stare, a goofy--and very, very pleased--look on his face. He slid closer as they continued, sneakily letting his hands wander, immediately working removing Hustafer's shirt during the kiss-off, his own, pausing only when he found his work interrupted.
He gave a whine in the back of his throat as the wherhandler brought him close, a pout on his lips before he actually listened to the other speak. The man tilted his head, a pleased grin sliding over his lips. "Ooh. That sounds like a plan." He crooned, turning the handler's head to snag a quick kiss, running his tongue over the man's lips teasingly.
"My weyr would work." He murmured, grinning wickedly at P'nay even as he draped an arm around Hustafer's waist, nuzzling the man's chest with a purr, "I've acquired a large bed--Gyth likes to sleep half-on the bed half-on her couch." He winked and slipped a hand under Hustafer's shirt, keeping his gaze locked with P'nay even as he slid his palm over the man's chest, giving a pleased hum at what he felt, "But of course, I'd be just as happy rolling around in here~"

If you want a future, darlin', Why don't you get a past? 'Cause that fateful moment's comin' at last.
This two were officially perfect - sexy and good kissers. He sighed when the kiss broke apart, but, hey, the three of them were moving to all being lacking of shirts, so he was happy enough. And it appeared his seductive new wherhandler friend was suggesting that they go find someplace private to continue this. He grinned at the two of them, eyes drifting over their bodies luxuriously. In his mind, he felt Annith stir; he soothed her with his feelings of elation and happiness.
Since R'ish was busy snuggling up to Hustafer, he snuggled up against the handler on his other side. With his hand around him, he could reach out to brush against R'ish's arm gently with his fingers. He liked being close, being cuddly, touching their skin and knowing that they were right next to them. It was nice to occupy his thoughts by enjoying the feelings on the pinkrider's skin and very little else.
"Or we could use my weyr. My bed is big too . . . Though not because Annith likes to sleep on it. She's a bit big for that; she'd love it if she could;" he said after the others had spoken, his voice a play, lilting whine. "But I think Hust's room is the easiest to reach. Perhaps we should use his?" He crooned it out, voice suggestive in a multitude of ways. He started to try and pull them towards the exit that the wherhandler had been trying to take just a bit earlier.
There's something wild about you child, That's so contagious, Let's be outrageous - let's misbehave.

"You twos' weyrs are too high up for an ol' wherhandler like me," Hustafer laughed softly, ruffling the two men's hair and grinning at them in amusement as he continued to make his way out of the hall, leading them away, heading lower. "My bed's fine for the three of us, an' it's all we ought to need. Husk usually tries t'get in it so it's plenty sized."
That seemed to be a particular problem among bondmates--the bigger of the bonded always wanted to cuddle and the space wasn't necessarily designed for that. Even though a wher was far smaller than a dragon, Husk was still much too big to roll around in Hustafer's bed, if only because it wouldn't take his weight for that long.
He led the two down to the wherhandler quarters, heading for his own with a broad smirk, pausing frequently for a kiss or a pet or whatever other little touch he or one of his two rider friends found appropriate. Even if they were spotted in this tangle, it seemed unlikely that anyone would be terribly surprised, after all, P'nay was there.
He finally got them to the door of his own quarters, chuckling a little as he kissed first R'ish and then P'nay in turn.
