As I wonder, What to wear, What to eat, Who to be.
P'nay paced about his weyr, starting from the edge of his dragon's couch and all the way to the end of the ledge. Back and forth, back and forth, back and forth he went with an intense, focused expression on that face of his that he used to charm anyone he wanted to get the attention of. He was obviously thinking about something very seriously and it was making him a little bit anxious, hence the repetitive path he was taking. He was waiting too, and had nothing else to do but worry about what he was waiting for. Lounging in as small a space as she could, Annith watched her rider with worry and concern. If he didn't pay more attention to where he was going, he was going to end up tumbling out of their weyr.
Mine, perhaps you shouldn't do this. It's a little late to decide not to now. Well, you could still not do what you're thinking of doing. I love him, Anni. For how long will you though, dearest? You know I like living in the moment, heartling. But being rash won't help anything. You'll stand by me though, like always, love? Always and forever, MineOwn. Well, then, give me a bit of trust and optimism. I really am sure that everything will work out for the best like always. No need to ask.
Their conversation only lasted a moment and comfortable silence fell between them again. P'nay continued his pacing, a little nervous still but more relaxed. A small smile touched at his lips as he thought of his plan and he glanced at the candle to check what time it was. Flaet would be coming soon, if he came. He would come; the yellowrider was sure he would come. As long as he had gotten the note. But it was hard to miss a note with a brilliant yellow daisy tied to it that was place mysteriously on her bed when you were out, wasn't it? The message had been simple: 'Meet me at eight in the evening tomorrow. Follow the second tunnel from Weyr's ground entrance to my humble abode. Sincerely, P of A.'
He was trying not to think about how things would go after that, though he knew why he had invited the candidate. It had been nerve wracking enough to wait over a little over a day to see his small plan of action actually come to a head. The situation didn't really seem spontaneous, but he was trying to let himself be open since he doubted he would ever think of just how this was going to go. Things would turn out for the best; he trusted Annith's opinion on the way the world work. He distracted himself with his pacing, until he suddenly paused. Silent, he waited for a moment and then sucked in his breath as he heard light noises on the stairs outside. The flirty rider quickly composed himself with a charming grin.
If you only knew, What I went through just to get to you, I'm hanging from you, And I'll hold on if you want me to.

P of A. As simple as the secret letter sender should have been to figure out, Flaet--loveable dear that he was--had indeed spent quite a good while, standing in his barracks staring at the letters. His eyes flicked back and forth from the "P" to the "A" to the giant yellow daisy, and then back again to "P" for a few good minutes before his eyes widened, and he grinned a simple little grin.
It had been a nervewracking few hours since then, but by the time the time to meet had rolled around, Flaet had almost forgotten about his little rondeveaux with the "mysterious" P. Thankfully, Flaet's mind wasnt' always on autopilot, and he caught himself on the way to the dining hall and spun around, darting the other direction.
Run and Ram were the ones that actually got him to his destination, though, and they flew into the weyr with chirps and screeches of greeting before seeking a bookshelf and perching upon it where they could sit and observe whatever had their Bonded so uppity. Flaet himself was a bit slower to slip in, padding in gently, as though certain he'd gotten the wrong room. But there was Annith--that lovely, lovely yellow--and he knew he was right.
"I miss anything?" He chirped as he stepped fully in, his hesitant stare replaced with a broad grin and his shuffling pace a cheerful sashay slash bounce. Now there was only to find out why exactly the Weyr's resident stud-muffin had called him...

Off we go, Some conversation, No contemplation, Hit the road.
Who were these two browns? They had to be Flaet's, since there was the beautiful candidate, sashaying into his weyr with that impeccable grace that he had. "Are those yours?" He sounded amused as he asked the question. His dragon was adoring of the two firelizards, stretching out her neck to sniff the two unknown guests to her weyr.
Not particularly caring about the answer, P'nay did some sashaying of his own and sidling up to the young man. "You didn't miss a thing, beautiful;" he crooned, voice just a little bit husky and just as seductive of that confident, charming smile of his. His eyes were bright with energy and happiness; he was glad to see that Flaet had come.
For a moment, he restrained himself, and then reminded himself that this wasn't about restraint. He leaned forward and pressed his lips against the others in a passionate, full-on kiss, arms sliding around him to hold him closer and caressing his back. His eyes closed as he enjoyed it, savored it, reveled in all its wonderful, triumphant glory.
They had kissed before, but this one wasn't like the last and this one lasted. However, the rider pulled away eventually. He watched Flaet's face carefully, quirking an eyebrow at him to see how he would react to it. His entire heart sang out, hoping that the candidate would respond well to his action. He did care about the boy, in his own way.
But I want you so bad, Everyone has a secret, But can they keep it, Oh no they can't.

"Ah, yes..Run and Ram." Flaet chirped, smiling as they leaned out to sniff Annith as well, chirping out a greeting, "They're twins." He glanced away from the flits as P'nay drew in close and he blinked, looking up at him with the barest of blushes.
"Well...ah...that's good." He replied, tilting his head, "So..what exactly is the.." He trailed off as the other started leaning in, eyes widening as the man's lips connected with his own. He leaned forwards eagerly, wrapping his arms around P'nay's neck, eyes closing.
He wouldn't deny that he'd been...waiting for this. No, hoping for it. Hoping because he had no idea whether or not P'nay would ever pop up again. He'd gotten the feeligng that, well, he was going to get into trouble. But maybe not!
Flaet gave a soft groan and pressed closer, desperate for the feeling of the other's body close, closer. But then the other was pulling away and he licked his lips, eyes flashing eagerly as he tilted his head up, staring at P'nay hungrily.

And I can't stop thinking about you, And I can't stop thinking about you, You never call, what do I do? And I can't stop, and I can't stop.
P'nay chuckled at the look in Flaet's eye, at just how close they were. One of his hands came up to play with end of his ponytail and he gently undid the fabric that held it up, wanting to feel the silky black locks. The other hand continued to gentle run over the well-built lad's back. He pressed their bodies closer, as close as was possible.
You really probably shouldn't be doing this; Annith cut in very gently and apologetically, speaking to both them. Her rider jerked around to look at her with a slight frown. "Yes, being romantically involved with the candidates it generally frowned upon, but, he's going to go off and being a weyrling, since anyone you search has to Impress, and I don't want to wait two years to do this;" the suave rider told her stubbornly, voice firmer than usual. You like him; she said, sounding a bit surprised about his level of commitment that he had to what he was doing. He glared her; she settled down to sleep.
To keep Flaet from being able to add anything to the brief conversation between him and his dragon, or to comment on what he had said, he kissed the beautiful young man again, mouth slightly parted. This wasn't about talking. He didn't want to talk. He wanted to take Flaet's breath away. He liked, and was best at, physical displays of affections.
And I can't stop thinking about you, And I can't stop thinking about you, You never call, what do I do? And I can't stop, and I can't stop.

Flaet smiled as the other moved to take his hair down and he snatched the cloth away, tossing it to his side before shaking his head, letting his hair come fully down from its tail. It was a nuisance when it was down, but he didn't mind for now--clearly P'nay liked it...and that made it just fine.
He leaned his head back at the feel of hands on his back and he hummed, closing his eyes with a pleased sigh. But he snapped to attention when Annith's voice rang in his head and he stared at her with wide-eyes, suddenly well-aware that what they were doing was bad.
"W-Wait...what did she mean by tha--" There were lips against his again and he groaned, only to pull away with a shake of his head, eyes narrowing and hands firm on the man's shoulders, "No, wait." He warned, staring steadily, "What is this to you ,exactly?" As much as he honestly didn't mind a one-time fling...for some reason..he..just needed to know just how serious this fellow was--be it serious or no.

I was the one who let you go, I never told you that I love you, I couldn't promise anything.
P'nay stared at him for a moment, meeting his steady gaze, when he started to ask about his intentions and whatnot. Then he released the boy and stepped back slightly, running a hand through his short hair. Stress shone in his eyes and he shifted his wait from one foot to the other. What was he doing? What was he doing? Annith was already dozing, and he didn't want to disturb her to just get a bit of reassurance. Why had she had to comment and interfere anyway?
"It's something;" he said after a moment. In his mind, his thoughts flickered to one person, L'oren. That bastard greenrider could go burn in the eternal fires. Why did he have to be part of those nagging in his mind? Searching for something to cling to, he found Flaet. He'd been wanting to cling to the boy before, been hopeful . . .
"Does it matter? I do care about you;" he murmured. With one hand, he reached out towards Flaet's face and gently ran his thumb along his cheekbone. His hand became became entangled in that silky hair. Very slowly, very gently, he leaned forward, tilting his head as he pressed his lips gently to the young man's, eyes seeking some sign of permission to do it. Flaet had told him to wait, and he respected that, but he wanted to show him that he cared! The yellowrider certainly had a sweet streak, especially for the fine candidate.
So why should I care. Why should I care? Well, I just do.

He gave the subtlest of frowns, glancing to the other's hand as it reached forwards. He leaned into that hand, eyes closing slightly at the feel of fingers on his cheek. "I...I guess not." He whispered softly, deciding that yeah, it didn't matter.
Why should it? He grinned and tilted his head, beckoning to the other even as he drew near. Flaet leaned up and met the other half way, slipping his arms again around the other's neck, hungrily deepening he kiss before breaking away with a snide little grin, "People dream of kissing a fellow like you," He whispered in a low whisper, "Why shouldn't I?"

Feeling alive all over again, As deep as the sky, under my skin, Like being in love, he says.
P'nay laughed wholeheartedly when Flaet said softly that some people dreamed of kissing 'a fellow' like him. "Honestly, I don't think that most people dream of a fellow like me;" he said, smiling still. Then he leaned forward so that his lips were right next to the candidate's ear. "I am way too spectacular for anyone to be able to dream up;" he murmured and then chuckled every so lightly, soft, warm breath brushing against the flesh just millimeters from his face.
Every so gently, he kissed Flaet's neck, just once. Then he intertwined the fingers of one of his hands with the fingers of one of his and started to pull him towards his private section of the weyr. Over the boy's shoulder, he could see Annith open one of her eyes lazily to give him a soft look. Usteth's . . . she began, but he glared and she fell silent, easily falling back into her dozing state.
In the dim light of his sleeping quarters, he let go of Flaet's hand. However, it was only so he could hold the dancer's face in his hands as he kissed him again. Pressing forward, he forced, though he wasn't really trying to be forceful but was rather more preoccupied with making-out with his beautiful fancy than thinking properly, to back up against one of the walls. Still, he broke the kiss, pressing his forehead against the other's and breathing harshly. "Now, you said to wait, but, well, I suck at being patient;" he said, grinning lopsidedly.
With you tonight, Like being in love, To feel for the first time.

"I suppose I can rest assured that this isn't a dream then." Flaet chirped, smiling up at the gorgeous yellow-rider with adoring eyes hinted with a dash of reality. "That's good," he added after a moment, visibly shuddering as warm air tickled a sensitive place just below his ear, "This is far too nice to be a dream."
The Candidate leaned to the side as lips grazed his neck and he sighed, a bit of hair sliding to reveal more of his neck even as he straightened, eagerly locking his own fingers with the other's and allowing himself to be lead deeper. He spared Annith a look, noticing the look the pair shared, and his brows knit subtly, a flicker of a frown on his lips. Run and Ram chirped their assurance from the bookshelf before gliding down to land on Annith, carefully picking their way to a snug place between the dragon's wings to sleep.
Flaet smiled and turned away from the scene, trailing after P'nay with a bounce in his step. Any thoughts of displeasure and worry were dashed away in one fell swoop as hands caressed his face, lips pressing against his own, and he sighed, shuddering subtly as he allowed himself to be backed up until he felt the cool wall against his back.
The other withdrew and Flaet looked up, locking eyes with the other even as the man pressed their foreheads together. "That's alright," He crooned, giving a lop-sided smile of his own as he slowly slipped his hands up, hesitating for a second before pressing them against the other's hips, slipping his fingers beneath the other's shirt, "I suppose I don't mind~"

Well somebody told me, You had a boyfriend, Who looked like a girlfriend.
Annith blinked out of her dozing state once more, since she had yet to fall asleep, when the two brown firelizards came to settle in the snug place between her wings. Happy to have the company, she quickly closed her eyes and focused on the calming ebb of her own breathing to fall asleep. She was not interested in being awake while her rider did what he was doing. She loved him as only a dragon can love their rider, but . . . she didn't have a love of that.
The feeling of hands on his hips, of fingers touching the skin that was covered by his shirt, was so satisfying for the flirt of a rider and he sighed with pleasure. His hands trailed away from Flaet's face, over his neck, across his shoulders, and down his arms until they rested over his hand. Then he took the hem of his own shirt and slowly, sensually, pulled it over his head. He let it drop to the floor without a care or a thought. He congratulated himself, knowing that his physique was more than adequately muscular.
"Well, if you don't mind, I don't think you'll be needing that then;" he purred, reaching for the edge of the candidate's shirt now with bright eyes. What did the pretty dancer look like without half his clothes on? His eyes took in the nice sight that he received when the second shirt joined the first. The pretty dancer was slim but muscular. The pretty dancer was very, very handsome in fact.
Placing his hands on Flaet's hips, he turned them around, so his back was towards the wall. However, he did it so that he could started to gently push the beautiful young man towards his bed. He moved flawlessly, gracefully, utterly in control of the situation and his movements. It was apparent, at some level, that he had done this before. Still, his eyes showed interested, affection, adoration, infatuation, with, of course, touches of lust too.
((Fade to morning? Unless Flaet is going to object at some point.))
That I had in February of last year, It's not confidential, I've got potential.

Flaet's eyes raked over the man's form as that shirt was finally removed, his fingers traipsing over the exposed flesh with the curiosity befitting of a dancer, someone who was always sticking his neck out and poking his nose into business that wasn't his own, if only for the inspiration of a smooth flip or a silent duet with a partner. P'nay was well-built he mused softly as he gave a soft grin up at the other, letting his own shirt be removed, not too muscular, but certainly not too lean either. A lovely mix.
The dancer knew that he also had a good shape as well--with the way he moved, he had to, otherwise he wouldn't be able to just keep going and going and going and going and that wouldn't be any fun at all!--but didn't think much of it. His mind and eyes were on P'nay, and they would not be moved. Around the pair went, Flaet's eyes twinkling with anticipation as he felt himself being backed up--towards the bed, he guessed.
The edge of the bed touched the back of his knees and he grinned, wrapping his arms around P'nay and pulling him down with him as he fell against the mattress with a purr. Come what may, as they say~

Is that a light at the end of the tunnel, That I see I see please let it be but don't, Wake me till the morning after.
P'nay woke up with his body entangled with someone else's. Flaet's, to be specific. He frowned to himself, despite being pleased to wake up with a warm body next to him; they were in so much trouble if anyone caught them at this. He was more worried about the candidate though than himself. There was only so much they could do to him and he'd live either way. But they could ban Flaet from being able to stand the hatching. He wanted the boy to Impress; it would do Annith proud for one of the candidates she had searched. What time was it? He'd just have to arrange it so that Flaet was doing something before anyone really thought to start doing something. He smiled. Everything would work out fine.
Carefully getting his own limbs separated from the ones that didn't belong to him, he stood, stretched, and got dressed quickly, throwing on a loose shirt and his riding pants. He smiled fondly when he glanced at the sleeping face of the newest addition to his collection of past and present lovers. Then he ambled quietly out of his sleeping quarters and into the small cavern that served as the more main part of the weyr. It's predawn. Where are you going? When he had waken up, so had Annith, and the caring yellow was worried herself. She liked Flaet too; she wanted him to not only Impress, since she was sure he would, but to be happy. She liked it when everyone she knew was happy.
I'm just going to go get us some food, love. I'm being considerate; he reassured her, then skipped out of the Weyr. About half a candlemark later, he came back, carrying a filled basket in one hand and a bottle of something in the other. He past his dragon without giving her a proper look, since she had settle down again and was just watching him, and ambled into his room. Setting his load down on his table, he went back over to the bed. Gently, he shook Flaet's shoulder. "Rise and shine, sweetheart;" he sang softly, smiling with genuine gentleness to it. He hated having to wake up the adorable young man, but he didn't have much of a choice. He needed to get up before others started to.
Is that a light at the end of the tunnel, That I see I see please let it be but don't, Wake me till the morning after.

The dancer didn't stir when P'nay left, a low whine in the back of his throat the only indication even his subconscious noticed the absence of the other. But as cold began to creep into the spot where the yellow rider had been he gave a low groan, awakening slowly and with great displeasure.
P'nay spoke and he gave another groan, sitting up with a bleary rub of his eyes. Ugh. He was sore and tired--why was someone waking him--oh. The blackette blinked as the memories of the previous night flooded back to him and he gave a pleased hum, giving the man a content smirk.
"Mornin'." He replied at last, giving a wide-yawn as he stretched, the bed furs sliding down to pool around his hips, showing a tad bit more skin than he realized as he gave the surrounding air a sniff, eyes gleaming brightly as the smell of food clicked in his mind. "Ooh. What's in the basket?"

My life is brilliant. My love is pure. I saw an angel. Of that I'm sure.
Once he got a proper response from Flaet, he bustled off, the clinking of metal and glance announcing that he was setting up the table. He kept one eye on the candidate though, so he could enjoy watching him awake up. That morning was a fabulous morning for him. "Er, a lot of things. I didn't have a clue what you'd like, so I just took things until one of the baker's hit me with a ladle. They don't like me;" he said, voice cheerful until he ended with a pout on the last part. The unhappy expression faded quickly and he grinned, showing off his fabulous mood.
The light in the room diminished slightly as something large blocked the entrance. May your other sweetheart be fed later today? She's hungry . . . Perhaps you could give her a piece of bacon? The yellow's voice was polite and kind as ever, but the firmness and suggestiveness of it was a bit surprise. It didn't cause P'nay to miss one beat though; he chuckled at her words in amusement. He knew that his dragon was not quite exactly what she always seemed to be.
"You shameless beggar;" he replied to her, still half laughing as he did. Pick up one of the strips of cooked, fatty herdbeast meat, he leaned against the table and waved it at Annith. Then he tilted his head back and slowly ate it. His teasing didn't bother Annith in the least; she just had a soft spot for bacon. She rumbled with her own laughter, voice joining his.tt For a moment, Flaet almost seemed to be forgotten, but he was far from forgetful. "You want one?" He offered the candidate a piece, grinning crookedly with a quirked eyebrow.
You're beautiful. You're beautiful. You're beautiful, it's true. I saw your face in a crowded place, And I don't know what to do.

"Oh, I'll eat just about anything." Flaet chirped as he clambered out of bed, having to decency to shrug on his familiar, low-riding dance pants before bounding to P'nay's side, looping his arms around the man's waist. Beaming with pleasure and overall cheer he nuzzled the rider's back, sighing softly. "And they always get mad if you don't ask their help choosing the best of things." he added with a grin as Run and Ram glided in.
"Huh?" He turned his attention from the flits on his shoulders to look at whatever P'nay was holding, and he tilted his head, licking his lips. "Sure." he chirped as he leaned forwards and promptly bit into the piece, chewing it thoughtfully even as he returned to resting his head against the man's back.
Run and Ram scrambled over P'nay as well, perching on the table and snatching a piece of bread before scampering off to eat it. "And they say you things are carnivorous.." Flaet mumbled, watching them thoughtfully, before biting his lip and glancing up at P'nay, "I'm going to have to leave soon, aren't I...?" He mumbled softly, giving the other a pitiful look, "I...I mean I understand...but still.."

And when I see you, I really see you upside down, But my brain knows better, It picks you up and turns you around, Turns you around, turns you around.
P'nay was distracted when two brown little creatures scrambled over him to snag one of the rolls. He watched them, Ram and Run, he recalled Flaet had called them, with amusement as they scampered off to eat their prize. It was because of this distraction, most likely, that he didn't notice the dancer biting his lip. If he had noticed, he would have been able to see that something was coming. Perhaps if he'd had some sort of warning like that he wouldn't have felt like he was being sat on by a fully-grown King, no, make that a fully-grown Queen, when Flaet started to talk to him in that pitiful, mumbling voice.
The yellowrider turned to face the teenager with a sad expression on his face. How was he supposed to reply to that? Lie and then have to admit that it was that in order to make sure he was safe? He was going to have to just tell the truth; it was for the best. Gently, Annith crooned to the both of them, her voice enough to mend souls and hearts. She had that sort of influence on others, a presence to her that wasn't commanding but got what it wanting in the form of peace.
"If you want to live with me here until we fight, break up, and anytime you see me after that you either want to smack me or kick in the groin? I humbly offer you my bed, sir. But if you want to stay a candidate and Impress, because me and Annith are sure you will? Then, yes, you're going to have to leave soon. And I can assure you, that no matter how amazing you think dancing is, the moment you Impress will be so much better;" he said sincerely, ending with a sort of sighing deep breath. At the last part, there was a slightly distant expression on his face. He could remember the moment he had met Anni . . .
If you feel discouraged, That there's a lack of color here, Please don't worry lover, It's really bursting at the seams, For absorbing everything.

Flaet shrunk back as the other spoke, withdrawing away from the man and wrapping his arms around himself, staring up at him with wide and confused eyes. he stood like that for several minutes, stubbornly unsure of how to react. But he seemed to come to a conclusion and a smile spread again on his lips as he leaned in, hands on his hips and a smug look in his eyes.
"Why can't I have both?" He chirped, grinning subtly, "I know you don't have time for me often...and R'ish maaay have told me why." He winked, "But that's okay, right? Can't I visit sometimes or something?" His brows knit together pitifully and he pouted somewhat, "I mean...do I mean less than a fling....or can we...still see each other every now and then?"
His smile drooped subtly, eyes watering pitifully as Run and Ram came to perch on his shoulders, their eyes whirling sadly as well, "Just...once and a while..?"
But then the sad-kicked-puppy look was dropped and Flaet laughed, wrapping his arms around the other's waist, resting his chin on the man's chest, "Not that you have a choice in the matter. I like you. You won't be able to get rid of me that easily." The teen snickered and pulled away, arms folded childishly behind his back as he tapped towards the door of the Weyr, "I'm always up for a dance, mister P'nay~" He crooned, winking, "And no dragon will change that."

Money can't buy happiness, Man, I think the opposite, If I had just one chance, I'd buy romance.
R'ish was going to die. He was going to die a painful horrible death. His attitude towards the pinkrider softened slightly as Flaet wrapped his arms around his waist and rested his head against him, which made it hard for him to be mad at much of anyone. Plus, it was his fault for going off and sleeping with half the current eligible population of the Weyr. It wasn't as if he shouldn't have seen this coming before now. It wasn't anyone's fault but his own.
"You'll find I'm very good at dissuading people;" he smirked at the candidate as he pranced towards the exit of his weyr. Clingy people were not his thing. They cramped his style. However, he had a feeling that Flaet wasn't really clingy, but just . . . different.
"But you're more than welcome to visit every once in a while;" he assured the boy without looking at him anymore as he was examining a piece of redfruit thoroughly. Then he took a bite out of it and chewed on it, making an entire delicate affair of it.
He tossed the fruit aside once he swallowed. "And if your so sure that you'll always be up for a dance, care to offer me this one?" He tilted his head to the side and reached out towards Flaet with out hand before he could properly leave. For once in a long time (Annith could tell you to the exact day, if you asked), he looked softer than usual, more truthfully sensitive and more tender. His smirk, his grin, was replaced with a genuine, bright little smile.
I want to know the things you're thinking, I want to be the place you are, Under the city lights, I'm sinking, Is anybody out there, anybody out there?

"I'm sorry to say that you'll never dissuade me of anything." He chirped, grinning broadly, "My parents tried to keep me from dancing, for a time. My mother thought I would hurt myself, my father thought--to himself--that it just wasn't manly enough." He chuckled, "I still dance, do I not?"
The dancer gave a pleased smile and hummed, sashaying towards the door before pausing, looking over his shoulder, a brow arched. But the quizzical look he gave was quickly dashed, a cheerful grin back in place as he pranced to P'nay, giving an extravagant bow before taking the other's hand.
"I suppose so~"

Bring on the wonder, Bring on the song, I pushed you down deep in my soul for too long.
Annith softly, in the background, hummed a beautiful but odd compilation of different waltzes. She loved music. It was beautiful. She loved things that were beautiful, not physically, but in the sort of melodic, poetic way that music was. Producing a song wasn't hard, though it wasn't exactly very in tune or technically correct. Her rider was happy, truthfully pleased and having fun, so she was more than happy to provide. She always supported happiness.
When he felt a hand on his hand, he practically beamed. He bowed back, much less extravagantly. Then he took the lead, placing his hand delicately on one of the dancer's hip and taking the first step.
P'nay was a good dancer. He would never be able to compare to his partner, of course, but he knew the steps and he knew how to pull them off with style. Each motion was fluid, liquid, and no matter how slightly off-beat his dragon was, he could always manage to keep with her. A moment or two past, his eyes remained locked on Flaet's. Then he leaned the boy over, holding him up, and kissed him, just a little, passionate peck. "You should probably go;" he murmured softly without letting him go.
Bring on the wonder, We got it all wrong, We pushed you down deep in our souls for too long.

The steps were familiar, a basic dance taught to even the most eccentric of dancers. Flaet smiled and stared adoringly back at P'nay, grinning subtly at Annith's...off-beat tune. Run and Ram joined in with their own hum, swinging their heads and tails like metronomes as though to help Annith keep the rhythm.
"You aren't bad." Flaet crooned after a moment, smiling as he relaxed in the movement, occasionally shifting to draw P'nay away from the traditional step to a tad bit more entertaining one. But then he found himself being dipped and he gave a subtle squeak, eyes widening before lips found his own and he relaxed again, giving a pleased purr.
"I probably should.." He agreed with a hum, wrapping his arms around P'nay's neck and nuzzling him as though reluctant to let go, "Yep......probably should...."

Zeppelin never left him Never died or second guessed him, Painted on his body, The stars would never hurt him Never lie, never desert him Painted on his body.
A squeak and pleasant purr. A wonderful reaction to his chosen way to end the dance. A beautiful boy, a young man, truthfully, but that made him sound so much more dour than he was, wrapped in his arms. A moment, or a few, that he wished would never end, so he'd never half to think of the consequences. A hope, for a future, one that was doubtful to come, but he didn't have to think of that. A light, that hope, something to cling to even as it slipped through his fingers.
P'nay smiled, gently, sweetly, adoringly, as Flaet nuzzled him and wrapped his arms around his neck. It only made it harder to let go, harder to have to see him leave. Both of them had seemingly agreed that the candidate should probably leave, but neither seemed interested in actually trying to convince the other to have that happen.
But someone had to get it going. The yellowrider straightened up, his dragon's song fading away to nothing now as he watched the two of them sorrowfully. He let the dancer go and gently removed his arms from around his neck. "Ours is a forbidden love, which is exciting, but, sadly, means we really do have to part;" he murmured dramatically. Reluctantly, he turned Flaet and gave him a little push towards the exit, attempting to hide a forlorn look with a smile.
Green reminds me, Of everything we said it blinds me, It rushes through my head it finds me, Close to you again, And oh, oh, oh, all for me he cried, And oh, oh, oh, all for love.

A delicate brow arched, bright eyes staring in amused disbelief at the other as he gave a lop-sided smirk, at last giving in to a soft grin. "You sound like an actor in a tragedy." He chirped with a wink as he was disentangled, snatching ahold of one of the man's hands before he left.
"You're theatrics in a man, you know that?" He whispered, pressing his lips against the man's knuckles as he bowed, only to whisp away with a laugh, "Oh well! Just makes things more interesting!"
Run and Ram glided to his side, chirping eagerly as the boy skipped out, his bare feet performing delicate turns as he moved, "Let's do this again some time, shall we P'nay?" A wink and a smile and the boy was gone, the tail-end of his hair the last bit of him to be seen. But the soft sound of his constantly jangling jewelry and his gentle humming echoed long after he was gone, until it too disappeared into nothing.

In this world you tried, Not leaving me alone behind. There's no other way, I pray to the gods let him stay. The memories ease the pain inside.
P'nay just grinned as Flaet commented about his dramatics and gave his hand a kiss to go with a bow. What was he supposed to say? What stupid, amusing, cocky comment should he reply with? What stupid, melodramatic thing would be appropriate? None of it was appropriate. It would probably come out distorted anyway, as his heart make an odd sort of cracking noise, though maybe it was just his overactive imagination, as the dancer skipped out of the weyr.
For a while, the jangle of jewelry and humming echoed back, and he stood motionlessly, listen to it with a soft, thoughtful expression on his face. Then the noise faded and silence, hollow, aching silence, fell about him. "Yes, lets;" he murmured, a late reply to the suggestion that they do this again. He sighed and tilted his head to the side, but remained otherwise motionless as the minutes stretched on, staring at the spot where that bit of hair had been seen last.
Finally, he turned back to the table of food and picked up a couple more pieces of bacon. The first he threw to Annith, who caught it expertly; it distracted from her worry about her rider. The second he chewed on slowly, sinking down into a chair. Breakfast for two, eaten alone by one, kept company with just his dragon and some memories. Not the best start to a morning, but it could be worse. He glanced over his shoulder and smiled at Annith. Memories and dragons weren't bad company.
All of my memories keep you near. In silent moments, Imagine you'd be here. All of my memories keep you near, In silent whispers, silent tears
