so i had this nifty idea while trying to find the boys for nim's "pack."

what about rival "gangs" in the candidate groups?

from what i've heard/seen, edwa has a group, and nim wants one. i can see some girls joining the groups (pratyba is going to nim's bestest friend ever. XD) but their can be an all girl's pack and those guys that don't want to be in girl's packs... i mean, like cliques almost.

or something like that. XD i dunno, it just seems like it would be amusing, especially since when dragonet's come along and they don't like/like eachother everyone would have to switch, plus ranking... it would make everything even more interesting than it already is. -fails-

Luven and Kanamar definitely have to be in rival gangs, especially after Luven gets beaten to a pulp by Kanamar. ^^ Actually, I wouldn't mind either sticking Luven in Anima's group (he promises to behave and run all the nitty-gritty things) or having him start his own.

xDD Avalle would totally not join any, she doesn't like anyone to be higher than her in the world. Maybe she'd start her own or just sulk and be generally angry about it.

Dunno about Riori, I think he'd be more of a mediator between the groups, you know the type of people who dart from group to group and gets along with mostly everyone.

Well, Nia, there doesn't necessarily have to be a strict 'leader' of the gangs. It's not like a wing, after all.

I think it would be really fun to have two groups and take this thing all the way through Weyrlinghood, where the hostility just keeps escalating and finally the Weyrlingmaster has to put a stop to it. So, are any of your candidates enemies with another or just dislike someone else?

I could have Avalle join the opposite one Nim is in, since we were planning on having them hate each other.... eventually..... xD

and i was going to have nim and kanamar drift apart, in the end, although i made them friendly enough for the party, so it would be amazing for luven to be in her group. XD

I actually don't mind having Pratyba moved to Edwa's group, so I can have one in each, and the numbers will be more equal. Will Anima be offended?

*Chuckles.* Okeris is kind of a loner, though back at his old Weyr he was surrounded by friends. But these "friends" were the weak boys of the Weyr that were picked on and they voted for Okeris to stick up and save them.

Lynx is too free-willed and strong-minded to get looped into a group, sadly. She loves being friends with everyone. Maybe she could sort of be the "go betweener" of the groups, neither siding with one side or hating a group, but always loving being friends.
