Weyrling Gangs

On the one hand, Edwa would love being a leader of a gang because it would make her feel so very important. On the other hand, now that she has Baserath egging her on, she would never be interested in inter-gang violence. Her gang's purpose would just be for the purpose of being cool and together, going on adventures and stuff.

So, yeah. Edwa would be working against all the inter-gang rivalries because, with Baserath egging her on, she wants everyone to be a big tangle of friendlies.

As such I think she might not be entirely suited to be a gang leader. She would spend too much time working to defuse the aggression between the opposing sides. X3

Durian was at one point a head in a group of street-ruffians....I think she could manage a head position..but whether or not she would is another question entirely. She'd only take the job if it was forced upon her or something...it isn't in her nature to take over something or simply announce her candidacy unless the other leader is like...killing everyone somehow. xD;

As for F'let...I honestly can't put him in one position. oxo;; He'd flit from side to side. I think he would fit the position of the neutral messenger. xD Think Pony-Express...F'let and Doppelith style.

Well, alright - three gangs than? Two fighting, one inbetween and they all really end up fighting? How does that sound?

What if Avalle was the leader, because she would have seen it happen and would have thought that K'mar was being ridiclous... Since she's our witness, Nia do you mind taking over?

Kyril would be all about peace... up until someone inevitably pissed her off. Then she'd be collecting torches and pitchforks and sicking Rip on people. xD

I'm sure Durian would end up joining one side or another. xD; Mes would probably drag her to the side he feels is closer to 'tolerable' than the other one.

F'let wouldn't be all about peace and love...but he wouldn't mind watching the show at all. He'd be in the background of like...everything. xD That's his position..the crazy person who gets his nose into everything and yet manages to make no enemies.

Okay, well, after Avalle and Anima see what's going on, they can go around telling everyone what happened (because there's nothing no one likes better than gossip ), and then all the characters can decide ICly who they think is right. We can have maybe respective gang get-togethers in a week or two? We'll keep track of who's where on here.

Alright, Chelo would side with L'ven just because she knows him more....which isn't much ^^

But she wouldn't get to angry with those on the other side unless they did something drastic like chopped off her all her hair or something...xD

Having Avalle take over one of the fighting gangs is fine with me. x) It seems like it'd work out better that way, since she's gonna be a witness and one of the first to spring up the fight along with L'ven, Anima and K'mar.

R'ori'll join Team PEACE!! ... or more like Team I don't really care you guys are stupid stop fighting. ... same thing, really.

If and when my character Arratra Impresses, he's going to be a loner; being part of a group just isn't his thing.

Matren's another matter. Although I have yet to figure out which group he'd join.

Me think there are too many inbetweeners to make this work, I mean unless you want to make them a group in themelves. Like a semi-neutral group but still a group

Birdy, I concur. (That is SUCH a fun word, by the way. ^^) You guys, think of this as rival sports teams: they KNOW they don't ACTUALLY hate the other group, they just like to act like they do. I know all of you all want your characters to be Little Miss/Mr. Popular, but it'll be WAY more fun if they're in gangs. Really!

I'm guessing that this is just going have to be a third group, an in-between group. Anybody have a volunteer for the "leader" of that gang? And I dunno if the new Weyrlings would be involved, since they would be separate from this group... But let's worry about that when it gets here!

So, I'm going to post since I JUST realized you posted the thread. XD And does a third group sound good with everyone?

Didn't we decide on a third group already? xD team LET'S ALL GET ALONG or something, the losers trying to get everyone to stop fighting. Since not everyone is going to agree with fighting and not agree with either side, so it's not really a matter of getting along with everyone, it's a matter of thinking that wtf this fighting is so dumb you guys seriously.

Third group sounds good, anyway! xD

Meh... I'd volunteer R'ori for it, but he's just not the leader type. xP

At first, I was thinking of them as all loner's kinda thing... I think we changed them to a gang that is the neutral territory...
