Weyrling Gangs

So, now that we know who the weyrlings are and everything, I wanted to get this started... With the dragon's not liking each other, and some liking each other, plus people, I wanted to see if everyone still fit and how many gangs we have and everything, etc... Plus, we need a reason for the group to separate, and we have the cool rooming assignments that will make this all even more fun. XD

Here's what I'm thinking for separation: since K'mar and L'ven already hate each other and still haven't got into a proper fistfight, I think they should bump into each other, L'ven berates K'mar for trying to cause a disruption at the Hatching, K'mar retaliates, they fight... and all this is observed by, say, two other Weyrlings, one who takes L'ven's side and one who takes K'mar's side. They spread their stories, and the Weyrlings are divided over the issues. Then, maybe something else comes up, and the dividing line becomes even wider.

L'ven will definitely be in Nim's group. Pratyba will -probably- go in Edwa's, just because I think they would get along. Or, she might be a soloist.

Actually, that's a good idea, but I'd switch K'mar to Nim's group just so that a)I have the passionate girl who is pissed that L'ven started the fight against her friend, and b)I have a reason for her to gather guys to her - cause she would have no idea what to do with to many girl friends. XD

EDIT: I just realized I sounded so shocked about you giving a good idea. XD I didn't mean it like that!

Hmm, are any other of the male Weyrlings interested? Edwa's group is very female-heavy.

I think Kyril would do best as an in-betweener. She still doesn't really know anyone. And seeing as how she can be a bit over-the-top loyal (not above resorting to... drastic and possibly violent measures, etc), it's probably a good idea to keep her from getting too involved one way or the other. x)

I'm pretty happy with where my two Weyrlings are now.

Avalle could take over Edwa's group if she doesn't want it? If we want like, two female head-people and then like... idk a male second-in-command or something. I'm not sure how we're doing this LOL;;

Sol will either be a soloist or in-betweener. She's not one to take sides. Besides, if she does I'd like to see it develop naturally.

I don't think the hierarchy is very strong or anything that we need seconds - just a general mayhem of the two groups fighting. XD Alright, well, lets see the list posted of room assignments and we can always have people switched. ^-^ Plus, I like the idea of some of them growing naturally - it makes for better plotage.

Okay, peoples! *rubs hands enthusiastically* I'm hoping that Dalibor isn't suffering from PHS (Post-Hatching Slump), but, you know, people aren't as eager to reply once the Big Important Event is over. I think kicking up this Weyrling plot is going to be a great way of getting people excited to post again.

So... Fidelli, do you want to have K'mar and L'ven try to kill each other within a day or two? Or, all of you who said to let this develop naturally, well... how do you want to start this? Any ideas? I still think there needs to be some sort of conflict between the two groups... maybe a different viewpoint about some issue?

I think the naturally was what weyrlings would fall to what sides - but Nia could vote Avalle to be with L'ven when it happened, and Nim could be with K'mar, and we could play that out and then see it from there? XD

Ooh, that sounds good to me! A great way to start people fighting. x) Then they can all just grab other people and drag them on to sides, so everyone has a reason.

*Blinks.* She may mean Lynx. After all, Lynx is currently holding crushes/possible love interests with L`van, K`ber, and T`zar (that is if T`zar is still interested in her even after Impressing a Green).

Just thought of something. I just realized that Lynx is somewhat of a female version of P`nay... odd... That is if anyone gives a care to my two cents.

Chelo just being pissy that she Impressed right after ariving late and she had to wait and "burn her sharding feet off" She didn't really do anything wrong...I dunno, I wrote something little about it in my post and I been drawing Chelo angry lately and it ispired this:

That's the nice thing about the gangs, because once they have one thing to separate over, there can be sooooo much more.

Nia and Kia (XDD) can I convince you both to put Lynx and R'ori in a gang? We don't want too many in-betweeners.

Hmm, well they already have the whole 'forbidden relationship' sort of stigma because of the fact that they're Weyrlings and, to a lesser extent, their future difference in rank, so this could just add one more layer to that, maybe? Could be interesting! Fidelli, I'll try to get something up tomorrow.

Haha, I dunno how Avalle's going to deal with that. xD She kind of toes the line, especially now that she's Impressed a Gold, and probably won't even think about relationships until after Weyrlinghood.
