She tends to be quiet around new people because she does not know anything about them. But she is not hard to befriend. And once you become her friend, she will always try to stay your friend. She is probably one of the best people to run to as she is more willing to listen to others rather than complain to others. But just because she is slightly shy and a listener does not mean she is not strong. She has a strong mind and will-power which is backed up with her intellegence. She is smart and willing to share ideas only if and when people ask her for it (unless she feels that it is urgent or necessary). One trait about her that has not changed from when she was younger is her love of exploring. She loves to explore new and old places, making it kind of hard to keep up with her some.
Appearance:
She very attractive to the male eye even if she does not try to make herself look pretty. She has dark, black hair that was inherited from her mother. She usually keeps her hair at shoulder length because she does not like to mess with it too much because she likes to Ride on Nikianeth a lot. Her silvery-gray eyes come from her father, which she is very thankful for. It is the one physical trait that defines her as her father`s daughter because she loved him very much. She has a slender body, weighs only 115 prounds. But she is not unhealthy. On her father`s side, women are known for being very slender and weigh very lightly. Another unusually thing about her appearance is her somewhat pale skin. If she tries to suntan, she burns very easily. She cannnot suntan for some reason.

History:
Nia was the offspring of a typical Green Flight at Inland Weyr. Her mother was nice but very fickle. She liked to flirt and other things around with the men. She really would stay tied down to any particular men. And the case went with Nia`s father. Her father`s dragon, a Brown, caught the Green and in the end it resulted with Nia. Instead of going for a ride between like every other time her mother was pregnent, Nia`s father convinced her to have the baby. Nia`s father wanted Nia and wanted to save the child from her mother.
Once Nia was born, full name being Armania after her father`s mother, Nia`s father took her away from the mother and raised the child with the help of the Headwoman from time. There was no greater father-daughter bond like Nia and her father. They were inspeperatable. And luckily for Nia, her father`s dragon was very protective of the girl as if she was also his daughter.
When she turned 14, her father presented her with a fire Lizard egg that he had managed to get from a friend whose Fire Lizard had Risen and the Clutch would be Hatching soon. Nia was very excited to get the egg, wanting the Fire Lizard since Fire Lizards were just miniature versions of their dragon cousins. After taking care of the egg for three days, the egg Hatched into a little Blue Fire Lizard that she named Flare. She named him Flare because when dragons chewed Firestone to breath fire, it like flares of fire coming out of their mouths. She loved Flare and the two formed a close bond.
As she started to grow older, people thought she would turn into her mother. They worried that she would become this woman who was a big flirt and had commitment issues. While Nia did like to flirt with the guys, she only had one somewhat serious relationship when she was 17. And after that relationship was over, the two remained friends. What brought the relationship to an end was when Nia Impressed on the Sands. She had stood at every Hatching since she was 15, wanting a chance to Impress. Everyone expected her to be a Green Rider like her mother until she attended the Hatching of a Queen dragon. There, she Impressed Nikianeth, one of several Orange dragons living at the Weyr. But, though she Impressed a sub-Queen dragon, she was still looked down on. Everyone said she would turn out like her mother and abuse her priviledges.
Nia was very adventurous and always trying to have fun. She would have skipped Weyrling classes if her father and Nikianeth did not suggest that she better attend or else they would never become full Wing members. Nia did not mind working, but with a sub-Queen there was so much work to be done. She would be flying in the Queen`s Wing when she graduated and had to make sure she knew all the information. But, after a while, they finally graduated. By this time, Nia was 19.
Even though Nikianeth had not reached maturity by this point, Nia still flirted around some. But she was not serious. She knew that she would not be able to stay with one person once Nikianeth Rose. She would have a weyrmate eventually and that would be who she would be with. The men also flirted with her, but they only saw her as a tool. The women shunned her, still thinking that she did not deserve to Ride an Orange dragon wince her mother was flighty Green Rider. With Nikianeth by her side and her father's advice, Nia left the Weyr to see if any of the other Weyrs would accept her. And this is when she arrived at Dalibor.

Nikianeth (pronounced Nick-KEE-ahn-eth) is a lovable dragon who is always there for her Rider. She worries constantly for her Rider's happiness, but since they left their old Weyr, things have improved. She does have a temper when she feels like her Mine is being mistreated. There have been several times at Inland Weyr where she has wished to snap someone`s neck. Like her Rider, she does like adventures strangely. When Nikianeth was smaller, she and Nia would get in trouble for going off to explore rather than learn how to do their duties as sub-Queen Rider and Dragon. But Nikianeth is decently smart, but very protective of her Mine. And because of he attention her Mine gives her, She does think herself a Queen of her color even though she knows she is under the true Queens.

She is one of the largest Orange dragoness. She has a typical orange hide that is slightly darker in her wing sails. But her body, tail, neck, head, and legs are a solid color for the most part. She is a little vein about her appearance and will usually ask other dragons if she still looks like an Orange dragoness.

On the day that Nikianeth was born, there was another sub-Queen on the Sands at the same time. Immediately, there was a sibling rivalry the two. Nikianeth had to vie for attention on the Sands, not wanting her Red sister to Impress to the person that she wanted to Impress. And soon it became a race between the two. But Nikianeth reached Nia first and Impressed to the girl. As soon as they Impressed, they both loved each other instantly and their bond grew.
Nikianeth was, luckily, just as adventurous and out-going as Nia was. But Nia had a tendency to want to skip her Weyrling classes. Nikianeth wanted to see Nia become a DragonRider and with the help of Nia`s father, they convinced her to continue to attend class. Another reason why Nikianeth wanted to attend the class was so she could be better than her Red sister. Nia and Nikianeth`s work and actions did not go unnoticed. The Queen`s Wing noticed them and garunteed them a place in the Wing once they gradutated. This was even more motivation to continue to do better.
One Nia graduated, she continued to be a flirt with the men. But Nikianeth had not fears about Nia. She knew they girl only flirted to have fun and that the girl had no interest in getting serious yet. Besides, Nikianeth had not reach full maturity yet. They also had a lot of work to do now since they were in the Queen`s Wing. But Nia did not mind. And when they had Wing practice, Nikianeth worked very hard to continue to prove that she was a hard worker. Her reason: Nikianeth was a sub-Queen and should be treated with respect.
Finally, the rumors, jeers, and disrespect got annoying to Nia and Nikianeth. Everybody believed that Nia would be a disgrace to her rank and that she did not deserve to Impress to Nikianeth. They all thought that Nia should have been a GreenRider. But Nia and Nikianeth were already starting to think about leaving. Nikianeth knew that Nia loved and respected her father, so they talked to him first about. About talking for a few days, it was decided. Packing up and getting the papers in order, Nikianeth and Nia finally left ASW with a smile and headed for Dalibor Weyr.
