R'len is a veteran Jr. Weyrleader of Dalibor. He took his job very seriously, and now that he only has the duties of a Wingleader to attend to, he has a lot of free time. Most of it is spent giving his weyrmate, Nimara, surprise back massages while she works on her candidatemaster duties, but he is a very social creature when he isn't working.

Samael is chill and laid-back. She takes pleasures in the simple things in life - especially eating and sleeping. If anyone had told teenage Sam that she would have been the first Tanrider and eventually have a baby of her own, she would have laughed, but Sam is now the proud mother of the son of Q'sis of Tan Unath. She's not really sure how this baby business works but the nice thing is that the creche does most of the work with darling Qaelis.
Naireth is subservient, obedient, and protective. She will obey any orders from Sam or dragons of higher rank without a spare thought. She is very passive and immobile, and only becomes her own person when Samael is threatened in any way. Then, she's angry.

Fe'an should have known that coming to Dalibor was a bad idea. If being allergic to dragons wasn't enough, finding out that his father deals fellis illegally should have been. A Stands Impression, a Quarantine because of the Plague, and a very forward dragon have basically fucked him up. He used to be such a good boy, but now he's angry and frustrated all the time. He wishes his dad was the upstanding citizen he had imagined, but no - he's a fellisdealer with a sleezy wherhandling boyfriend.
Fe'an and Onth argue a lot. Onth wants Fe'an to be a model of leadership but Fe'an can't really handle anything at all.

Carlis, perhaps, is too perfect. He is well-spoken, well-written, and infinitely courteous; through excessive volunteering he has wormed his way into good standings with the candidatemasters. Still, though, something doesn't seem quite right about him. It's hard to put a finger on it. Previously employed as a scribe by his second cousin Lord D'lios of Western Hold, he seems to long for that job more than he does for a dragon. This is strange to him, but also unsurprising. Nothing really surprises him, after all, especially the stupidity of the majority of the population. He expected that.
